I didn't try the food...but the iconic ambience and the people there are just great. Also a great concert with Morgan Finlay yesterday.

The atmosphere is actually quite nice. The staff: underground - unfriendly - like I have rarely experienced. I'm surprised this pub hasn't closed yet. Today, November 30th. I was there late in the evening. Not a friendly: Hello. No: You cyclists please. The shandy is placed on my table without a word. placed on the counter. When I ask for a candle because the candle is currently burning out, I am simply told unkindly that there are no candles left. This is a place where I didn't feel welcome at all. The real lady doesn't manage to be a little hospitable. Her colleague, a little younger, does the same. Actually, I always tip quite generously, as I used to wait tables myself, but with these two horrible waitresses that evening, I simply counted out the money and didn't leave a tip. It's probably a real Bonn joke that this pub is still rated with 4 stars. It would be nice if you would give an honest review. Then this pub would have been closed long ago - and nice and hospitable people would hopefully take over. This pub is a joke!!!

A very nice and good pub, with a very friendly team, which is unparalleled in Bonn.

You feel right at home there. Everyone is treated equally, whether you're a regular or a new customer...Always worth a beer.

Food good, ambience good and not that busy. So, dare!
