Die besten Restaurants mit Franzosisches restaurant Essen in Dresden

The two of us celebrated my friend's birthday there. My boyfriend is French, loves fine French cuisine and visiting this restaurant has been on his Dresden to-do list for a long time. First about the service: We had previously announced that I was a vegetarian and this was taken into account. The waiter also took note of the fact that I don't drink alcohol without hesitation and at short notice. Overall, the waiter was friendly and accommodating. He spoke French to my friend and German to me. However, as soon as other guests arrived, it seemed as if we had been written off a bit. Apparently the other guests were already known. Food: Unfortunately, overall mostly average and disappointing for the price. On the one hand, for example, the spread and bread served were not French-style (starter). But the absolute disaster was that my friend had a large bone in his fish. An absolute no-go for the price. The drinks, however, were convincing. Hence the three stars. Ambiance: In a cellar, darkened and served as a French cliché. There's something else going on. We liked the classic French Lego building blocks. ;) Overall, an average performance - although please always keep the price (300eu for two people) in mind and that my friend, as a Frenchman, has a different view of what is on offer. From our point of view, 80-90Eu per person would have been appropriate. PS: I read the owner's (and waiter's) responses to rather negative reviews and was quite shocked. Instead of accepting the criticism, the response is sarcastic and almost snotty. Unfortunately, this also shows that the high level that this restaurant strives for does not match reality. A truly high-class restaurant would accept the criticism gracefully and discuss how to deal with it internally. So I can imagine how this criticism will be received. Anyway.. we won't be coming back anyway. Adieu.
