A very nice and friendly restaurant in one of the most interesting streets in Trier. You actually feel like you're in France... The service was very friendly and accommodating, we felt very welcome! The food was consistently delicious and appetizingly prepared, as well as being reasonably priced with a really good value for money. A successful evening in little Paris on the Moselle...definitely recommended and we will definitely be back!

For all you can eat, the quality of the food is very good. The waitresses are mostly good, nice and polite. That's why I can recommend LaFlamme with a clear conscience. I had a negative experience with a waitress: We were just treated passively and negatively by a waitress the other day. She seemed like we were bothering her even though we ordered normally. After waiting half an hour, our third round of orders still hadn't arrived and another waitress asked if she could clear away. We said no as we are still waiting for our food. She then apologized and checked on our order. She told us that the passive negative waitress hadn't passed on our order and then took our order again and brought it forward... The passive negative waitress came to our table every now and then. Even though my hands were free, I didn't want to take the boards with me, so we stacked them... Since we were there on a Monday evening and there wasn't much going on, I expected something different in terms of service...

I had the 4 cheese pizza, was overwhelmed.... gladly again... tarte flambée also amazing.....

Hello Martina! Thank you for two wonderful meals at your lovely restaurant Julien in Kaiserslautern! My husband, son (who lives in Kaiserslautern) and I so enjoyed our meals upon arriving from Canada that we made a reservation to come back 3 days later for the ‘Chateaubriand for two’ - all meals were superb!! The restaurant was beautifully decorated, cosy and inviting, we felt welcomed by the servers who made excellent recommendations for our meals, and we feasted on soup, salad, and a gorgeous warm spinach crepe as starters, followed by steak, salmon and turkey medallions as our mains, with plum crepes and a chocolate mousse for dessert. Two bottles of lovely wine and schnapps finished off our first meal. The second meal featured chateaubriand for two and a fish dish preceded by salad, soup and pate, with chocolate profiteroles, sorbet and a lovely homemade ice crème to finish it off. I’m just sorry we had not been introduced to Julien during our several trips to Kaiserslautern these past few years!! Don’t hesitate to visit- there is a lovely outdoor sitting area as well in warm weather. Highly recommend - 5 ⭐️ for sure!!
