However, there were also some points that didn't quite fit the high standards of the house. Unfortunately, the excellently prepared steak was only served with fries, the kind you get in every snack bar. I would definitely have expected something special from a restaurant of this level. The white paper napkins also looked out of place, more like they came from a cafeteria, and were almost reminiscent of the Salvation Army. In addition, a waitress was very nice, but her demeanor didn't really fit the atmosphere. Your relaxed approach, for example with statements like “Did it taste good?” “Then that’s right,” surprised us a bit and didn’t fit in with the otherwise high standards of the house. In summary, the Brasserie Cocotte is a restaurant with a lot of potential, which is also great in some respects, but unfortunately some stylistic weaknesses spoil the overall elegant impression.
