Hello, As a native of Bad Oldelo, I have been coming to the KAMIN regularly for years. I hadn't given any reviews yet. I would like to do this again now: I have always been very satisfied under the old owners (until the end of 2023). Special requests were always happy to be fulfilled after prior arrangement. Jenny and Miikka have been running the restaurant since January 2024. For me, the fireplace has since taken on a new, even more special touch. The dishes are all freshly prepared, so it may take a little longer. But then you always get hot and delicious dishes served by friendly people. Even the plates are preheated. When I read negative reviews here, I ask myself, when was that? There are certainly always days when individual employees have a bad day. It always helped me to talk to the employees. Basically, everything is always designed with the guest in mind. You notice that. Sometimes I notice a certain arrogance among guests towards the employees. That annoys me. There are peak times when there is a certain amount of pressure. But I have never experienced the service becoming unfriendly. We as guests should know and understand that this job can be very hard and that, like almost everywhere, employees are scarce here. That's why I would be happy if we were all a little more tolerant in general. Because if there are no more waitresses, we won't be able to go out for a nice meal anymore.
