Beautiful beer garden and restaurant with charm – culinary delights! The compact beer garden offers seating in both the sun and the shade. A playground for children is within direct sight and calling distance - ideal for families. The inn also offers a cozy atmosphere to sit inside and retains its classic character thanks to the somewhat rustic building. The food tasted really good throughout! The asparagus with potatoes and hollandaise sauce was delicious - the homemade sauce was particularly pleasantly surprising as it noticeably didn't come out of the bag. However, the asparagus could have been peeled a little more carefully... The onion roast was also very good - the strong, crispy crust made up for the lack of cooking. The size of the piece of roast was rather manageable, but the taste was great - especially in combination with the sauce and the potatoes with bacon. The side salad was also classic and pleasantly filling as a large portion. Particularly delicious and my highlight was the dessert “Crème Brûlée” – a hot caramelized crust and the perfectly chilled cream with real vanilla underneath! A successful conclusion. The lady in service was friendly and obviously tried hard, but was very busy due to the rush of guests. In terms of price, everything remained within a fair range - we paid just under €65 for two people including dessert. The somewhat outdated toilets are located in the basement and can only be reached via stairs - unfortunately not barrier-free. Overall, a restaurant with a traditional character and convincingly delicious cuisine, which also has some French dishes on the menu! We'd love to come back!
