“The Golden Wok” is a real insider tip for lovers of authentic Asian cuisine. As soon as you enter the restaurant you are greeted by a tempting scent and a warm, relaxed atmosphere. The furnishings are tasteful and modern with Asian elements that underline the ambience without appearing overloaded. The menu offers an impressive selection of classic Asian dishes, including Chinese and Thai specialties, all freshly prepared. We ordered spring rolls and steamed dumplings as starters. The spring rolls were crispy and full of flavor, perfectly accompanied by a homemade sweet and sour sauce. The dumplings, filled with spicy pork and fresh vegetables, were tender and delicious. For main courses we chose the red Thai curry with shrimps and the crispy chicken in sweet and sour sauce. The Thai curry was perfectly seasoned: creamy, spicy and with a balanced level of spiciness that brought out the flavors without dominating. The prawns were fresh and tender which rounded out the dish. The crispy chicken was also a highlight - juicy, with a crispy crust and a well-balanced sweet and sour sauce that perfectly complemented the taste. The service was friendly and attentive, always willing to provide recommendations. Wait times were reasonable and the staff managed to serve dishes at just the right pace. One small point of criticism: The restaurant was busy that evening and therefore a bit noisy, which made conversation difficult at times. Nevertheless, that hardly dampened our enjoyment. Overall, “The Golden Wok” is a wonderful place for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Asian cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. It’s definitely worth a visit – we’ll definitely be back!

Ordered food online yesterday at 5:28 p.m. and delivery was stated to take 57 minutes. It was then delivered at 7:03 p.m. after I called at 6:40 p.m. Food was cold, 3 mini mocchis for €4.90, a bowl with just a bit of lettuce roughly covering the bottom, with 2 cold, small chicken skewers for a juicy €12. Tuna-makis were already really dark because this one was too old. Order complained about by phone. Didn't have time to pick up the delivery, had to bring the food back ourselves and got the money back. We ordered there last time and won't eat there again.
