First of all - unfortunately we cannot rate the rooms because we, my wife and I, were only guests in the restaurant! We visited this mountain inn for the very first time yesterday, Friday, and were immediately impressed by its location. The view over Zittau was somewhat clouded by the clouds, but still magnificent. My first thought was “sit on the terrace here in the summer in the sunshine and let your gaze wander”! When we entered we were greeted by an extremely nice lady in charge of the house. To our surprise, the place was completely empty. Well, it's the beginning of March, it was 5 p.m. on a Friday evening... But people - just that look!!!! We were absolutely thrilled when we ate for the second time! Here the chef knows his craft and so we left the restaurant well fed and extremely tasty. To eat here again this Saturday. Unfortunately the boss wasn't there this time, but the good cook took over and did it really well. A fine guy who is just as nice to talk to as the boss. Unfortunately there was nothing going on today either. I find that extremely sad for the operators, who put in a lot of effort and for the chef, who is passionate about conjuring up delicious dishes. If we lived here, this would be my go-to restaurant! Of course, I realize that everything is becoming more expensive these days. We notice that ourselves. But let's think further - we're all just sitting at home and sitting on our money for fear of losing it. And at the same time, more and more excursion destinations and locations are closing because we are sitting at home - on our money. Or spend it on something pious. At some point there will be no more inns and an entire culture will die. I can highly recommend this mountain inn to anyone who values ​​super friendly service, extremely delicious food and a fantastic view!
