A place for good food and nice ambience.

We are now “repeat offenders”! Whenever we are in Vogtland, we combine it with a meal at Café Maya if possible. Every visit so far has been an absolute delight and the boss is happy to conjure up a vegetarian alternative for our child that will make her eyes shine! We feel very comfortable there and you can taste the love of preparation in every dish! The service is outstanding! Always my pleasure! Please keep it up! 👍🏻

As a beer lover, I have known the restaurant for several years, as I occasionally pick up a few bottles of the delicious home-brewed Awerbacher here. On Good Friday I finally took the opportunity to try out the restaurant in its entirety with my daughter. The first plus point is the relatively uncomplicated online reservation (even for me as a technically behind-the-scenes oldie). As already highlighted several times by other guests, the ambience and service can be described as first-class. The selection on the menu is quite limited, but the ingredients listed make you curious. Personally, I particularly liked the direct reference to the brewery in one or two dishes. The food we ordered was served without any long wait and was very nicely prepared. At first glance the plates seem quite small, but the quantity is completely sufficient for an average person and there would still be room for dessert. The taste of the food really pleased us. All in all, I give it a clear recommendation and I would like to thank the entire team for the culinary experience, also on behalf of my daughter.

Super friendly staff, whether on the phone or on site. Picking something up at short notice on a Saturday evening is no problem. The food is really delicious no matter what you order, you could go for it. And the price is really justified for these portions. So if you want some really tasty food, it's best to go to the Vasilis tavern.

Always the best kebab/dürüm in the area! HIGHLIGHT for us is always PIDE with minced meat and sheep's cheese and LAHMACUN. Best garlic sauce and now even baklava. We always like to come back! 👍🏻TOP

Very fine Greek restaurant with delicious food. You can sit comfortably together and enjoy the evening. The beer garden is a small oasis for relaxing outside.

We ordered a mixed vegetable thali for two people to pick up because we wanted to try different dishes. All 6 dishes included were very tasty and hearty. Exactly what we were hoping for. Highly recommended.

I've been to the castle tower 5-6 times at different times in the last 3 years. Be it at lunchtime, in the evening, inside or outside in the beer garden. Always friendly staff, adequate waiting time for the food to arrive and high quality. Even now on the Easter weekend, when there was a smaller selection, there was actually something for everyone and the sauerbraten was great. The lack of red cabbage was compensated with an extra dumpling. Gladly again at any time.

We have been to this restaurant several times and have always been very satisfied. Food was plentiful, nicely prepared and warm/hot. The reserved table was available immediately. Food and drinks came to the table quickly. Service very friendly and accommodating. Everything around us was clean. We'll definitely be back.
