We had a wonderful evening with our family, enjoying excellent food. All our needs were very well catered for. We were even allowed to bring our dog. It's a great place for celebrations. Thank you so much.

A small restaurant serving German cuisine with Ukrainian and Dutch touches. You have to know it or find it on Google. Simple dishes, some unexpected creations, but everything is delicious.

We received a very warm welcome, and the friendliness was evident throughout our entire stay. The food was excellent and very tasty. Highly recommended. All dishes are freshly prepared and generously presented.

We spent four days here in our RV. The inn is very well-maintained and clean. The menu leaves absolutely nothing to be desired. We were able to take the food back to our RV. We also received a camping discount. Many thanks to the two owners. 👍

Wir wollten einfach nur etwas essen – und gingen mit dem Gefühl, gerade Zeit mit den herzlichsten Freunden verbracht zu haben. Die ukrainische Küche ist einfach überragend! Ich bin viel gereist und habe Vergleichsmöglichkeiten… Aber ich habe wirklich noch nirgends so köstlich gegessen wie im Café von Swetlana und Gerjan. Wenn Sie die großartige ukrainische Küche kennenlernen möchten, gibt es keinen besseren Ort als die Gaststätte “Bei Freunden”! Es gibt eine große Auswahl an Gerichten! Alles ist sehr lecker und wunderschön angerichtet! Der Service ist herzlich und persönlich! Und als ich erfahren habe, dass die gesamte Dekoration im Café von Swetlana selbst gemacht wurde, war meine Begeisterung grenzenlos. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich das Kinderzimmer, in dem alle Bilder und Spielzeuge von Swetlana persönlich gestaltet wurden. – Wie viele Talente hat diese Frau nur! Wie viel Zeit und Herzblut sie in dieses Lokal gesteckt hat! Wir hatten bereits bezahlt und wollten gerade gehen, doch als ich erfuhr, dass Swetlana auch noch das Eis nach ihrem eigenen Rezept selbst herstellt, war klar: Ich kann nicht gehen, ohne es zu probieren. Wir haben drei Sorten genommen – Vanille, Erdbeere und Schokolade. Mit Worten zu beschreiben, wie gut es geschmeckt hat, ist unmöglich. Man muss es einfach probieren! Bravo, Svetlana! Bravo, Gerjan! Wenn ich wieder in Sachsen bin, komme ich ganz sicher zurück – um noch einmal diese wunderbaren Gerichte zu genießen und Zeit in der Gesellschaft dieser großartigen, freundlichen Menschen zu verbringen.

We had a wonderful celebration for our silver wedding anniversary at your place. Every one of our guests loved their food. Everything was freshly prepared and delicious. We enjoyed bowling and mini-golf in the garden. We had a wonderful day with you and will definitely be back.

A very nice village atmosphere, really cool people, and great food. Not just schnitzel and the like, but also some truly delicious specialties. Yes, it's a bit more expensive, but it's worth it! Freshly made! The food is gently seasoned, and you can add more seasoning to your liking! You can't complain, you can just go for it!

The shashlik platter was good, but the portion size was more like a kid's plate! Normally, a senior's portion is enough for me, but this one didn't fill me up! The price-performance ratio isn't right either!

We had such a pleasant dinner. The children's food was super quick and arrived first. Thanks to the play area we were able to eat without stress because the children were busy. The service and food were highly recommended.

The hosts are incredibly accommodating and friendly, the menu is very varied and the waiting time was short despite a group of over 15 people. You can expect a Ukrainian classic like solyanka, Dutch classics like poffertjes and good regional cuisine like schnitzel, bambes, roster and co. The menu is definitely unique and the combination of dishes (e.g. Ukrainian starter, regional German cuisine as a main course, Dutch dessert) is fun to choose from. Well-named and tasty own creations such as the “Cat out of the Bag” dessert also contribute to this. Since we had almost half the menu on the table as a group (including starters and desserts), it can also be said that the portions are large and the food is really tasty. 😊 We really enjoyed it, will definitely recommend the restaurant and look forward to our next visit! 😊 Addition: For children there is a large playroom with a small climbing frame and the vegetarian menu also offers a large selection. The location is also ideal for hiking tours in the surrounding area.

Definitely recommended, especially for families. The self-designed children's menus alone are magical. The children's dishes are served the way they are pictured. A well-equipped games room and an outdoor playground mean that the children won't have to wait long. The food for us was also impeccable. Everything fresh and homemade. There are no ready meals here. The service and the host couple are magically nice and friendly. Definitely visit if you are in the area. We'll definitely be back.

We were here for dinner last Thursday and the online reservation was great. A very nice innkeeper couple was waiting for us. I think it's great that you can choose the side dishes. The food was consistently good. The desserts also left nothing to be desired. We'll definitely be back soon.

We were in the restaurant for the third time. This time with a starter, main course and dessert and with 12 people. All main courses and desserts were great... Everything is homemade and prepared with love. But...the solyanka and the borsch don't have anything to do with the original cuisine. I won't go into detail here and I didn't take any photos. Guys...you definitely need to improve this! Otherwise, as I said, great and we would love to come back.

You don't often experience so much hospitality and warmth! There were seven of us there today and we were warmly welcomed and didn't have to wait very long for the food! It was very, very tasty! I can only recommend the schnitzel with fried egg and the fresh salad. Everyone else really enjoyed it too! The children's menu is really lovingly designed, as are all the children's dishes. We'll definitely be back! Even at coffee time, because there are really delicious sweets here too! Be sure to stop by!!!

We have been here again and things have continued to develop positively. There is now a choice of portion size and side dishes. Schnitzel was very good and tender. Unfortunately, some side dishes came out of the deep fryer such as the fried potatoes. That didn't go over so well. The cod fish was super tasty and the ice cream for dessert was a successful and large portion. Gladly again!

Visiting the restaurant with friends was the highlight of our vacation in Vogtland. The service was excellent, the food was really tasty. We haven't eaten so well in a long time. The ice cream was excellent, homemade, you could taste it. So I'm full of praise. My thanks to Gerjan and Svetlana, also to their hard-working kitchen fairies. Good luck for continued success!!!

We were a group of about 25 people, which was admittedly a challenge. However, we had also booked weeks beforehand. The waiting time for our food sometimes lasted over 2 hours, which could be overlooked with appropriate communication. Unfortunately, the food always came one at a time. Some people had been full for 1.5 hours, but the rest hadn't had their food on the table yet. I also received my starter together with the main course after a 2 hour wait. So it's all quite unfortunate, most people enjoyed the food. Since some of us decided not to tip because of the unsatisfactory situation, we asked vehemently and quite urgently whether tips would be given ("What would you like to pay extra?"). The situation was then described as to why we were dissatisfied, but unfortunately there was a lot of lack of understanding. We should have ordered on the phone in advance, but we were not offered this when we made the reservation. The fact that some of us didn't tip was then described as a 'disappointment'. The icing on the cake came at the end: we got the wrong schnitzel and then got the right one later. We were still charged for the incorrectly prepared schnitzel. Of course we didn't want to pay for it, so there was another vehement discussion about the whole thing being a 'cheer'. We can only strongly advise against visiting the restaurant as a large group

Food was delicious. Unfortunately it just took forever, we were a group of about 25 people and we called and made reservations long in advance. The food was always brought separately, a starter came at the same time as the main course, Soljanka came half an hour later than the other. We all ate extra because the main courses didn't come at the same time. Criticism of the staff was not accepted and discussed.

Authentic and very tasty and obviously everything (we ate) was homemade and extremely good value for money. 😀👍🏻

Very friendly service, no question, but unfortunately we didn't like the food and ultimately it's not worth the price. E.g. Omelette with ham. 3 slices of bread with minimal cheese and minimal ham and an egg each for a very high price of just under 10 euros. You can also order extras that are clearly too expensive. And to be honest, it doesn't taste great. So did the other dishes that were tried. Of course everyone has their own taste, at least that was our conclusion.

"Perfect enjoyment in a restaurant with friends" I recently had the pleasure of visiting the "Bei Freunde" restaurant and I have to say I was completely impressed. The plentiful meal I was served was not only delicious but also of excellent quality. Every bite was a real feast for the taste buds. The service in the restaurant was extremely friendly and accommodating. You really felt like you were with friends who tried to make sure you didn't miss anything. The service was attentive without being intrusive and contributed significantly to my overall successful visit. The location of the restaurant is also an absolute highlight. With a picturesque setting and a relaxed atmosphere, I was able to fully enjoy my meal. It was a real treat to be pampered in such a beautiful place. All in all, I can fully recommend the “Bei Freunde” restaurant. For anyone looking for excellent food, friendly service and a dream environment, this is definitely the place to go. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and more culinary experiences with friends.

The restaurant was convincing across the board, from the lovingly handcrafted children's menu to the friendly service to the freshly cooked dishes and the ambience. Wir waren super zufrieden. Wartezeit auf das Essen war total in Ordnung vorallem weil alles frisch zubereitet wird und das schmeckt man, dafür geh ich gern den Kompromiss ein etwas länger zu warten. Macht weiter so und lasst euch nicht unterkriegen. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!!!👍

Bereits zum zweiten Mal innerhalb kurzer Zeit da gewesen. Man findet eine gemütliche Gaststätte, welche außerordentlich Kinderfreundlich ist, mit super Service und sehr leckerem Essen zu einem völlig realistischen Preis vor. Nur zu empfehlen!

Sehr wenig Privatsphäre, störend auch das ständige Geklopfe aus der Küche. Speisekarte sehr gering gehalten, was das Angebot betrifft.

Der Name des Restaurants passt perfekt. Wir haben in letzter Zeit selten einen so freundlichen Service erlebt. Wir waren heute mit 4 Erwachsenen und 4 Kinder dort und wurden sofort neben dem Spielzimmer platziert. So war die Wartezeit bis zum Essen für alle entspannt. Gerichte aus der 3 verschiedenen Ländern (Ukraine, Deutschland und Niederlande) sind ein kulinarisch spannende Kombination. Das Essen wird frisch zubereitet und war sehr lecker. Leider wohnen wir 400 km entfernt, sonst wäre das unser neues Stammlokal.

Leider war das Essen sehr speziell. Die Burger unserer Kinder waren versalzen und meine Rippchen waren sehr fettig und mit einer süßsauren Asiatischen Sauce überzogen. Keiner hatte aufgegessen. Schade um das Essen und das Geld. Die vegetarischen Speisen waren wohl ok.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Bedienung war freundlich. Portion sehr groß. Selbstgemachte Pommes waren sehr gut.

Hatte keine Vorbestellung, mußten aber 1 Stunde auf die Bestellung warten. Das ist auf jeden Fall zu lange. Essen ging. Ich selbst werde es nicht mehr besuchen.

Top - Freundlicher lockerer Service und durchgehend warme Küche, das ist ja leider eher selten im V-Land, Essen schmeckt gut, Parken kann man auch gut und Preise gehen auch ... Kommen wieder und ich kann es nur empfehlen..

Sehr leckere, frische und regionale Küche mit holländischen und ukrainischen Einfluss. Überaus gelungene Kombination aller 3 Landesküchen. Wir hatten von allem etwas, alles wurde liebevoll selbst gekocht, was man schmeckt. Es wird auch gern jedes Gericht erklärt, wenn man es nicht kennt. Wir kommen gerne wieder beim nächsten Besuch im Vogtland.

Sehr leckeres Essen alles frisch selbst zubereitet und das schmeckt man auch. Außerdem ist der Wirt sehr nett und erklärt einem jedes Gericht und sei es noch so ungewöhnlich. Absoluter Deserttip ist die Katze im Sack. Auch das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich. Gerne wieder beim nächsten Besuch im Vogtland.
