Great cuisine, good portions and great quality

There's not much open in Bellheim on a Tuesday night, so you risk going to the Bierstubb hidden at the back of an industrial estate. Aren't you glad you did? A wonderfully warm welcome from the friendly staff who show you to a table in the dining room. You can drink local Bellheim beer - very good, - local Bellheim wine - try the Müller Thurgau for something a little different - and even the bottled natural mineral water is from the Bellheim spring! Then there's the food. Lots of food. Totally delicious. My Beirstubb schnitzel with onions, cured ham, and cheese in a rich sauce was, in fact, two schnitzels! It came with a large bowl of spätzle and a large bowl of mixed salad. My wife's sausage salad was an enormous amount of shaved sausage with peppers, tomatoes, etc. and a good helping of chips (fries for the Americans). We started with a plate of delicious padron peppers, beautifully fried in good olive oil, with mayonnaise. This is not fine-dining, haute-cuisine; this is real, good, hearty local food and drink with real, good, hearty, and very friendly welcome. If that's what you want - and you should - and you're in Bellheim - and not just on a Tuesday - this is the place for you.

The best cream schnitzel far and wide!

The ibo Döner is now our favorite place when it comes to kebab! Even if we don't come from Bellheim, we like to go there because the food is simply fantastic. Although it's purely a takeaway shop, that's not a bad thing at all - the taste and quality easily make up for it. I am particularly impressed by the selection of different sauces for the kebab. This means it never gets boring and you can always try something new. A really great kebab shop that we always enjoy going to

Very nice Italian restaurant with very good food and very reasonable prices. In summer, the beer garden courtyard is the attraction. Nice, attentive service, who sometimes jokes. Very good and large salad plates, delicious pasta and pizza, meat and fish: something for everyone. Recommended: pizza bread to share.

We were there with the family on December 26th. Have to say very disappointed. Service was catastrophic. My husband, children and I were ahead of others because the menu was handed to us straight away. The other half wasn't there yet. After everyone was there we called service to have someone take the drink. When we ordered food it arrived after 40 minutes. There were 11 of us. Including 6 children's portions. When the food came we had to realize something. That it's cold. My vegetables were like they were straight out of the fridge. The platter my husband had, some of the meat was cold. And my son's food was forgotten and brought 10 minutes later. My salmon was tasty but the tagliatelle was a disaster. The ketchup came like you would at a chip shop. Unfortunately it has nothing to do with a restaurant. And it was also very loud. And tight. It's a shame but we won't eat there anymore.

Once and never again chicken tastes like it came from the stable. Never over-season everything!!!

I used to like ordering from La Vera but was disappointed twice in a row. Food came much later than stated 20 to 30 minutes turned into 1.5 hours The tortellini were very dry and you had to look for the sauce. Pizza bread with garlic sauce arrived with tomato sauce. When I called to report this, no one answered
