The service was friendly. We sat outside, the cars don't drive by very slowly there ;) that's why 1 star deducted for the ambience. But the price-performance ratio was great! The selection is quite limited, but if you like schnitzel, this is the place for you!

Very good service and nice employees and boss. The food is always delicious and arrives home hot. We love ordering from Gap! Completely satisfied!

We stopped at Roger’s Restaurant on a Sunday afternoon hike in beautiful weather. We weren't given a seat in the dining room with a view of the lake because we didn't want two people to occupy a table that was too large. Instead we were able to sit down in a very dark room with a bar. After us, guests arrived in pairs, but the boss personally gave them a place in the dining room with a view of the lake so that we could hear. It was 3:30 p.m. The house advertises home-baked cakes. The cake was gone and there was nothing else to eat because the kitchen was closed until 6 p.m. But we then saw a guest leaving the restaurant with several pieces of cake on a piece of cardboard. So if you can get a cake by coming very early, the cake seems to be good. Two guests were seated opposite us who would have liked to eat something, but the waitress had nothing more to offer them. The guests then wanted to leave the restaurant, but had to pay another euro to use the toilet. That may have been formally correct, but the waitress probably scared these guests away too. The service staff was obviously very busy and overwhelmed with the number of guests. Guests from the neighboring table also began to discuss with the waitress whether it would have been possible to sit at the table with other guests in the beautiful dining room with a view of the lake. But it all seemed very complicated and even impossible. We learned that the food was supposed to be quite good, but we didn't want to wait until the kitchen opened at 6 p.m. A little frustrated, we went home and ate at home. For the drinks that tasted good and that we got at a reasonable price, I give one star for each of the two glasses.

I've rarely had such bad food, then had a stomach ache, vomited and later had diarrhea from eating. It's better to leave it alone. Hygiene very very questionable....!!
