Great! In the evening sun, Bauer's was literally illuminated and already offered a tempting sight. The outdoor seating is beautifully located because the market square has a very special charm and you can enjoy a beautiful view of the time-honored buildings. The service was very attentive and courteous, so we felt comfortable throughout. The food - pork chop with potato and parmesan mash and lemon risotto with sea bream and vegetables - was also excellent and gave us wonderful strength and inspiration after a long bike ride. Thank you for the lovely evening in Dannenberg!

So, what a story - let's start with the food: We found a table inside, the food was well prepared, came quickly, and we were well looked after by the young waitress. The starter: Tzatziki - well seasoned, rounded, a delight. Our currywurst as the main course - very well done, the fries were crispy, just great. Only the owner himself knows why we were not shown an invoice at the end and only a piece of paper - i.e. no receipt - which was then taken away again and therefore there is no electronic invoice. This needs to be changed and creates trust if all taxes are paid. It's a shame that this "bland aftertaste" remains. Addendum from July 2024: Even now there is still no electronic invoice, just a piece of paper with the dishes eaten and the prices, all handwritten.

I will never eat a kebab there again. I ate a jumbo kebab this evening, the meat was disgusting and there was way too much sauce on it. I had extreme stomach pain and nausea with vomiting about 30 minutes after eating it. I'm sorry I can't recommend it. I also have it Waited over 15 minutes and a boy prepared the kebab and yes, I won't eat there again

Numerous unsuccessful attempts to order takeaway food. Today again no one is answering the phone. As has often been experienced. Most of the time no one answers the phone or you are given a waiting time of 2 hours. Slowly more staff could be hired because there isn't really much going on in the restaurant. Even in the restaurant you wait forever for your food, so you don't feel like eating any more courses. The food is averagely good, but for the unqualified staff who don't even know the dishes, have to constantly ask and the long waiting times are simply not enjoyable. Ingredients that were supposed to be included according to the list and specifically asked whether they were included were also missing. When you order 5 main courses, soy sauce is included and everything is in one box. You can ask beforehand how many people eat it. Nevertheless, every dish needs sauce. Austerity measure negative. It's a shame, sushi in Dannenberg would have been too nice.
