Spent May 1st in the beer garden in great weather. As always, Verena Chef herself was right at the grill. Very tasty food, fast and nice service. I think the ambience in the courtyard (beer garden) is very successful and suits the building. Always my pleasure.

The food is fine. But it takes a long time for the food to come to the table. When the other food was finally served after an hour, we were told that the kitchen didn't have the ingredients. The owner, who was also waiting tables at the same time, seemed a little drunk and was making bad jokes. Another thing that was very unpleasant was his physical aggression. That's why in my opinion one star alone is too much for Savanne Restaurant. Not recommended!!!

Very friendly and competent staff, incredibly cozy, and absolutely fair prices! A real alternative to other overpriced and "snobby" restaurants. Always happy to come back, even if it takes a long time to get there! Thumbs up 👍🏼

Bad first impression. Koch was ill, which is why only a minimal menu could be offered. 1x schnitzel, pizzas, salads. No desserts. I don't understand why people don't communicate something like this over the phone. Due to the time and the weather, we decided to choose something from this “map”. Unfortunately, it wasn't one of the dishes we were looking forward to. (including Wienerschnitzel) The taste of the schnitzel was quite good, but the fries could have used a little more salt. (There was no salt or pepper on the table to season). Unfortunately, the ambience wasn't convincing either. The jackets of the larger group were simply spread out on tables and the carpet at our table was very dirty. (leaves, soil etc.) The plates also had various chipped spots on the edges. The cola, advertised as Coca Cola Zero, tasted like the cheapest no-name cola. Overall a sobering dining experience.

Surprisingly delicious kebab. At 7.50 euros it's not cheap, but it's really worth the money. The payment amount is entered in the cash register (😱) and you get real meat. The garlic sauce tastes great too.

We went there several times for the buffet. The food tastes really good, the staff is always friendly and attentive. Since we usually go out for lunch, we are lucky to always get a free table.

Wir waren am Sonntag, den 11. September zur Mittagszeit im Schluckspecht. Trotz vollem Haus einen sehr guten Platz in diesem besonderen Ambiente bekommen. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Das Essen hat hervorragend geschmeckt. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!!
