Today I turned 72 (young) and my wife and I had a voucher for 50.00 euros for the Rosenhof in Niedernberg. However, when we got there we spontaneously turned around and tried our luck at the Krone in Elsenfeld and we were lucky to get a table in the inn garden. We ordered and just like the weather, so did the food: simply perfect and so it was a real birthday feast that we will remember fondly. 5 stars with+

Four of us were guests on Sunday evening (without a reservation) and were completely satisfied. The attentive waitress signaled to us that it might take a little longer because everything inside was busy and there were many orders in front of us. No problem. The drinks came quickly, the Chardonnay (from our own winery at €4.20 a quarter!!) tasted excellent, as did the food we ordered (which was at the table quite quickly). Venison sausages with sauerkraut and warm goat cheese or potato schnitzel for the two vegetarians. All at very fair prices. We'd love to come back.

The staff is attentive and friendly. There is very good German home cooking here. Price performance is more than okay. I can only recommend it.

The Klosterstube is recommended as a hedge restaurant. In winter there are fire barrels outside which makes it very pleasant.

I found the pide with minced meat very tasty and it was also very well made, but I didn't like the kebab and the meat wasn't really warm and wasn't fried properly
