A great restaurant for Swabian cuisine! The dishes are traditional and prepared with great attention to detail. The quality of the ingredients is top and you can taste that the food is freshly cooked here. The onion roast roast is particularly recommended. The service is friendly and attentive - you feel completely at home here!

Dürüm was good after complaint.. They slap on what they want and not what the customers want... and when you say something you're just looked at like a train station... Even though I said that they should please redo it, nothing was done until I went back to the counter and said it again.

We go to Bad Buchau for a week every year. A great area for hiking - for example in the Wackelwald - or simply unwinding - on the great footbridge out into the Federsee. Well, you can also take care of your physical well-being, in Bad Buchau I recommend the cozy Gasthaus zum Hecht (located on the way from the Federseesteg to the city center). The innkeepers are friendly, there is good music and the food, whether meat or fish, tastes excellent and is served beautifully. We especially enjoy fish dishes there, Croatian-spicy and served with fries that are just right crispy and never dripping with fat. The salads have never disappointed us either. We have enjoyed coming here for years and will be back in 2025. If the sky doesn't fall on our heads first. 🤗😉

The food is OK. With a grill plate you can have more tzatziki. We were able to make a reservation for 1 p.m. because the kitchen would close at 1:30 p.m. However, when we sat down to eat, others were told that it was possible to order until 2:30 p.m. There was little going on. There was probably too little turnover and therefore the kitchen time was extended. The waiter/innkeeper needs to be much more attentive. We also thank you for tips. He has to learn that too.

Thrown out after the 6th beer, they weren't noticeable, let alone drunk 🍻😕 it's a shame.
