I am really disappointed with this restaurant. The name “Mama Afika” doesn’t fit the menu at all, as the food has no connection to Ethiopian or Eritrean cuisine. The quality leaves much to be desired, and the bread used is simply white bread - apparently because it is cheaper. It seems as if the cooking here is without passion or heart. The portion sizes are very small and the taste is nothing like what you would expect from real African cuisine. It seems that they mainly serve guests who have no idea about the actual cuisine. It was definitely a disappointment for me.”
