"ZWITSCHERSTUBE" in Karlsruhe

We became aware of the restaurant through the Schlemmerblock. The food was delicious, the staff was very friendly and a nightcap was also offered. The one star deducted is because we initially received the wrong food, but that was corrected immediately. We'd love to come back.

Simply family friendly and hospitable here. Good portion for the price, this was the first time we've been here with the gourmet block. Will come again, we are very satisfied.

The food was good and very plentiful. The restaurant is very remote and very quiet. There will probably be a lot more going on in the summer, as there are hardly any other bars in the area. According to the navigation system, you come to an area that is not accessible to traffic - that's right, you have to walk the last 200m. The voucher book was no problem. Very inexpensive.

Solid and cheap. The Zwitscherstube is always a destination for a meal with the whole family. There are no culinary excesses, but you are well served and full. You can sit well outside and inside too. The prices are fair and the portion sizes are optimal.

All in all, the Zwitscherstube is the best address in the Greek restaurant category in Karlsruhe. (I can judge because I know almost everyone ;-). (Although a few human weaknesses do occur from time to time...) If you still don't believe me, just give it a try!

The service is very good, fast, uncomplicated and also with a lot of humor. Always in a good mood from the boss to the kitchen staff. All lamb dishes in particular, but also the Cordon Bleu, are very good. In summer you can also sit outside very well. The surrounding allotment gardens and the Oberwald invite you to take walks before and after. The price-performance ratio is great, every main course comes with a medium side salad. Always my pleasure.

The restaurant is located in an allotment garden. There is a play area for children right in front, with tables and benches next to it so that you can sit close by. The staff is very friendly, unfortunately our table was not served and cleared for a long time. The food is delicious, I was just missing pepper and salt at the table. Otherwise the portions are large and the price is okay.

The gyros was very good, liver okay, souflaki a bit boring. Salad with ready-made sauce. The chairs outside were all a bit worn out and very old. Service very quick and efficient. Price/performance okay...

Most dishes recommended; But especially leg of lamb with broad beans: you rarely get something like that anywhere else. Quantity extreme, P. Frites a bit too soft; according to Salad “from the can” or from the Metro tastes the same every year. The owners are particularly quick when it comes to serving. You always sit in the green, very romantic. Unfortunately, Greek wine is far too expensive...

Nice operators, good food,... Nice atmosphere. New visit 2024 Sunday..... Are a little disappointed. Very long waiting times. Arrived at 2.45 p.m., ordered the same thing twice, gyros and tzatziki. We had the gyros at 3:50 p.m., the side salad came 20 minutes before that. Side salad with ready-made dressing. Some of the gyros were raw and we had to complain. Portions generous, large gyros with fries and tzatziki and starter salad €13.50 Price/performance quite ok... Maybe it's better to come during the week... Or: to the operator.... Good quality but fewer tables ensures happier customers... You'll get another chance from us... but it wasn't today...

Great restaurant, I love coming here every week. The boss and the entire staff are extremely friendly and enjoy having conversations with the guests and thus building a relationship with their guests. I always feel totally relaxed and happy when I'm in the chirping room. I owe this primarily to the great people who work here. Here I am not perceived as a walking wallet, but as a human being. This is very valuable to me. The price-performance ratio for the food/drinks is very fair! Hardly anywhere else will you be able to eat so well for such fair prices. The portions are sufficient.

Ordered gyros with fries. Plus tzatziki. Delivery took 2 hours. Food cold, fries unsalted. Tzatziki was at least OK.

Friendly service, food OK, but not particularly imaginative, just normal Greek. It's a bit too dark in the dining room, there are still a few lamps missing. Cheap lunch menu.

I ordered the fish platter via Lieferando for €20. Quantity and quality are good, delivery was super fast, and the food was still warm. Even the sauce was specially packaged (delivery requested). Everything was fine, so a clear recommendation.

Worth it..... Prices ok, food good, friendly and beautiful surroundings (allotment gardens) suitable for children as there are play facilities on site.

We have often been to the Zwitscherstube for dinner. As always, the service was very good. In general the food tastes very tasty. This time I took the gyro plate, that wasn't my cup of tea. The menu has a lot to choose from. Will come back and try something different. The grilled pepperoni is highly recommended.

Our absolute favorite Greek 👍🏻 Super tasty food, reasonable prices, great quality. My favorite menu... cold-warm appetizer platter Beef liver or devil's skewer and for dessert Galaktoburiko ☺️😋 And the ouzo afterwards tastes really delicious too.

We enjoyed it very much. We spent €110 for four adults with drinks, main course, dessert and coffee. However, you should bring your time. The restaurant is cozy and is located in a very quiet allotment garden.

Mir fiel als erstes die dünne Papiertischdecke auf, die nicht fest am Tisch war sondern leicht hin-und herrutschte. Das Essen war qualitativ sehr schlecht und ich weiß ehrlich nicht was ich da auf dem Teller hatte. Ich hatte ein Gyros gegessen, aber es schmeckte eher so leicht nach Leber, irgendwie eigenartig. Die Pommes waren nicht knusprig sondern eher weich. Irgendwas stimmte mit dem Essen nicht, denn ich hatte mich bald nicht mehr gutgefühlt und mein Körper reagierte mit einem Ausschlag am Bauch. Ich kann den Laden daher nicht empfehlen und die guten Bewertungen sind wahrscheinlich gekauft. Die Bedienung allerdings war freundlich, kümmerte sich den ganzen Abend aber um sich selbst. Es wurde nicht nachgefragt, ob alles recht ist oder ob wir noch etwas trinken wollen und Blickkontakt wegen dem Zahlen der Rechnung zu bekommen war unmöglich, so dass ich rufen musste. Ich habe mir insgesamt etwas besseres versprochen von den Bewertungen her. Griechisches Essen muss anders schmecken. Ich gehe da bestimmt nicht mehr hin weil ich das meinem Körper nicht antun möchte. Die guten Bewertungen sind nicht gerechtfertigt. Der Laden war auch fast leer. Da helfen auch keine gekauften Bewertungen wenn die Qualität des Essens nicht stimmt.

Wir waren früher immer dort essen als wir noch in karlsruhe gelebt haben. Sehr leckeres essen und eine sehr schöne und ruhige lage.

Das Essen ist sehr günstig. Satt wird man auch, aber die Qualität und der Geschmack sind sehr mittelmäßig. Vielleicht war die Küche auch überlastet. Das Personal war auf jeden Fall sehr freundlich

Bin hier zwischendurch zum Mittagstisch, wie jetzt wieder. Einige Gerichte der Hauptkarte als günstige Tagesangebote zur Auswahl. Hatte Gyros mit Pfefferrahmsosse mit Pommes. Sehr gute Portion und geschmacklich ebenfalls sehr gut. Sehr freundlicher Service. Kann das Restaurant daher uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Nach 30 Minuten haben wir das erste Getränk bekommen. Der Service ist leider schlecht organisiert und sehr zäh. Vorspeisenteller war hervorragend. Das Hauptgericht war mot kalten Pommes statt mit dem bestellten Reis und das Gyros leider sehr trocken und nur lauwarm. Das Warten auf die dreimal angefragte Rechnung dauerte zu lange und ich habe dan an der Bar bezahlt.

Toller schneller und netter Service. Essen ist geschmacklich top. Allerdings sind die Portionen enorm klein. Mit dem Gyros Spezial bekommt man keine Person satt, das war leider sehr enttäuschend und für den Preis auch noch sehr teuer.

Eine typische griechische Gaststätte, besser gesagt eine griechische Taverne! Die familiäre Atmosphäre bereitet einem das Gefühl in Urlaub zu sein. Gekocht wird von Mama, und dies richtig gut. Kinder können auf dem Spielplatz tollen, was für Eltern sehr entspannend sein kann. Natürlich bekommt man hier nach dem bezahlen auch einen Schnaps oder Mokka aufs Haus. Das Restaurant ist ein Vereinsheim des Kleingartenverein. Deshalb liegt es mitten in der Kleingartenanlage. Also so richtig im Grünen!

Geschmack vom Essen war gut, leider zu kalt und sehr lange Wartezeit. Gehen nochmal hin um zu schauen ob es besser wird.

Wir saßen im Biergarten. Einfache Möbel, aber gemütlich. Das Lokal befindet sich inmitten eines Kleingartenvereins. Kein Autolärm und frische Luft. Oarkplätze sind davor auch reichluch vorhanden. Die Preise waren ein klein wenig höher als im Internet, aber noch immer erschwinglich. Die Qualität des Essens ist sehr gut. Hat zwar eine Weile gedauert bis es kam, lag aber wahrscheinlich an einer größeren Gesellschaft, die a' la cart bestellte. Hätte ich die Pommes auf dem Teller nicht mit einem Blick zählen können, hätte es auch 5 Sterne bekommen. Doch die Portion war für meine Erwartung doch ein wenig klein. Die Getränkepreise waren auch sehr angenehm und der Kellner sehr zuvorkommend. Grundsätzlich kann ich dieses Lokal nur weiterempfehlen.

Trotz Lieferung war das Essen noch optimal warm. Fahrer war auch sehr nett und wartete Geduldig bis alles ausgepackt war. Essen war Perfekt. Zu Empfehlen.

Grieks restaurant op een park met zomerhuisjes. Gezellige sfeer. Dit hadden we alleen maar gevonden door google. Je rijd er niet langs. Het was druk op vrijdag, waardoor we wat langer moesten wachten op onze drankjes en eten. Maar we zaten heerlijk op het terras. Het eten is goed en veel. Zeker in verhouding tot wat je betaalt. Het is de moeite waard om hier even naartoe te reizen.

Es ist immer wieder eine Freude dort einzukehren, das Essen und der Service sind nur zu empfehlen. Wir sind große Fans von diesem Lokal
