Delicious food, such as B. Chicken with orange curry sauce and chicken with chilly white wine sauce and fried noodles, very spicy. Everything was great and served with delicious vegetables.

The staff is always very nice and helpful. When there isn't so much going on, there are always nice little conversations. The food is usually always very tasty. But the best thing is when you can sit outside and see the greenery everywhere.

Addendum October 1st, 2024: the last few times the food was unfortunately no longer the same as it was a year ago. The service/ambience was also better. Therefore unfortunately only 3 stars.

Our “home local” for what feels like 30 years: Very tasty food, very good service: Just booked again for our big “50 Years of Abi” class reunion - everyone was happy!! It worked great, the food came at the same time and even after many hours we kept asking if anything was missing and if everything was OK. You feel in good hands there. it was once again a very round, long evening. Many thanks to the great team! 🥰

I wanted to come to the breakfast buffet on a Sunday in September 2024 and had also made a reservation. I was very reluctantly opened on site and then told that it would not open until three hours later and that the current preparations only concern a private event. At some point an employee came and asked my name. He then checked and found that the name had been struck from the reservation book. Unfortunately no one told me. The employee then started asking very unpleasant questions about the origins and whereabouts of my daughter's father (who wasn't there) and then wanted to know twice whether I had "killed" him. All in all, it was very unpleasant and I think it's a shame that no one responded to my (in my opinion very neutral and almost nicely worded :)) message via the contact form.

More than just a restaurant. You can spend a very nice day/evening here. Eating, dancing, meeting people and great events (live music, comedy, etc.) There is even a dance school here. Insider tip: Friday evening first couple dancing and then disco. Simply great. Clear recommendation.

We've eaten in the Zweischlingen beer garden a few times this year. The food is ok, but we were always impressed by the ambience. Very pleasant to sit here.

Everything may be very nice. Staff can then eat cold leftovers at the end of the day. I feel sorry for the people. This could also be organized differently.

A highlight every time is the food. Super friendly service. Very lovingly prepared food. No matter what you choose from the menu, it is on point. Rarely such a good ambience, good service and great food at the same time.

We had reserved a table for dinner with the company well in advance. On the day of the meal we were informed on site that we could not be served as it was a closed society. They supposedly called us and left our voicemail; which definitely didn't happen. Apparently they forgot to let us know; but no trace of insight. Instead they try to blame the error on us. Really a disgrace. I would prefer not to give a star at all. So you can't rely on reservations at this restaurant.

The food is great, the waitresses are quick and work systematically, but a noise of 75db is unbearable and conversation across the table is not possible. Only when most of the guests have eaten does it become a little quieter. I recommend sound-absorbing wall and ceiling panels. I recommend an off-road vehicle for the parking lot, the way there and the space are unreasonable!

Wouldn't be served. Neighboring tables do. Alleged "No staff". Bikers unpopular?

Food was very tasty and nice service

Today we tried the Zweischlingen restaurant. Called a day in advance to reserve. When asked, we were told that you should just come by and you would find a place. Arrived today and the first question was whether you had a reservation. The entire restaurant was empty and luckily we got a table. Drinks were ordered directly and delivered quite promptly. We also ordered 2 starters at the beginning, which came to the table after 30 minutes. There were a few pieces of bread, some aoili and tzatziki. Tastes good but seriously 30 minutes??? Unfortunately there was so little bread that there was a lot of aoili and tzatziki left over. When we asked if we could still have some bread, we were only told that this would come at a cost. We then had it cleared away, although I find it extremely unfortunate how people treat food like that and only think about sales. We're talking about a few slices of bread... After more than an hour we received our main course. The schnitzel was ordered with mushroom cream sauce, which I first had to look for...then I found it because it was completely underneath the crispy schnitzel...the schnitzel was no longer crispy at the bottom but completely mushy. I looked for mushrooms in the sauce in vain..The sauce also separated and was a bit sour...The taste was a total failure!! When I ordered more drinks, the waiting time became extremely long again. According to the statement, the pork medallions tasted good but were far too little. The chairs and tables outside can also be replaced from time to time. In my opinion not recommended and would not advise anyone to eat here. There are some better locations where you get something for your money.

For me it's simply "amazing" You can't tell from the outside of the house. But inside, and on the terrace, very nicely done. It's nice that we were able to visit this restaurant on our vacation. The food was very good and inexpensive. Thank you for this lovely evening

I was absolutely disappointed on our last visit on July 6th. There were 6 of us and it initially took quite a long time until our order was taken. Ok, it was full, I can really handle that, so I don't want to complain. Then all 6 of us ordered, after 2 minutes the waitress came back to the table to tell me that the pulled pork burger I ordered was already out. Um ok, it was a quarter to 8 and one of the main courses is already out. But okay, I looked at the menu again and then decided on a pizza. Another 2 minutes later the waitress told me that the pizza was also out. Ok seriously now, pizza is out? I still understand it with the pulled pork, but with something so simple it's an absolute no-go. Looked at the menu again and ordered rump steak. When asked what level of doneness I wanted, I said medium. Another person at our table also ordered this medium rare. After a reasonable wait, our order arrived. 4 dishes were ok, our steaks were both cooked through, which is a real shame about the delicious meat! We didn't complain about the steak because we were hungry and because otherwise the meat would probably be thrown away. The only bright spot, the potatoes with the steak and the herb butter were super tasty. I was really looking forward to the meal as it was an invitation for my birthday. But we were extremely disappointed here. 2 main courses in one evening is really a bad example for such a large restaurant. Unfortunately I don't recommend it.

Very tasty food at reasonable prices

Beautifully located and shaded by old trees, you can sit on the terrace or in the beer garden and enjoy exceptionally delicious dishes. Inside, everything is kept open and very comfortable.

Traditionally neat for a long time. The cake is homemade and recommended. I would say the house and the tour are alternatively with a relaxed style and that is what everyone wants and is happy to accept. A large terrace that is also a beer garden in the evenings; is shady.

We are there regularly. The problem with waiting times when ordering food has been around for a long time. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. No improvement despite reviews. There is a lack of competition in Bielefeld. The food is absolutely ok. Especially if you're not a meat eater.

You can always go to Zweischlingen if you want a casual evening with good food at fair prices. The service is always very friendly and the menu offers something to suit every taste. I personally find the atmosphere particularly beautiful on the terrace/beer garden. It quickly becomes very loud inside, so conversations become tiring. Recommendation!

We went there spontaneously for dinner today, on a Thursday. It was really busy and we were lucky to get a table for two. Thank you for that :) The food was really delicious, the service was attentive and really nice. We will definitely come back to try the vegan chocolate tart 🥧

If a restaurant does not have enough staff available, it should reduce the number of seats. It is unacceptable to wait longer than 90 minutes for food and drinks. The staff was highly committed, but completely overwhelmed by the number of guests. A clear management mistake!

Very committed but far too few staff for the many seats in the restaurant. You wait a long time for drinks and food. Why doesn't the owner reduce the number of tables if he can't find enough staff?

Great restaurant with good and authentic food, with nice taste. The card is short and there is also a session card that changes regularly. There is a large selection of drinks and also homemade lemonade. The service is very friendly and quick and also jokes. Based on the taste, service and value for money, we would be happy to come back.

Extremely cozy and hospitable location.

The two loops are very large and were fully occupied on a Thursday. I had a pulled burger with sweet potato fries and sour cream. Unfortunately, the menu forgot to point out that the fries and cream cost extra. Not very customer friendly (to put it mildly). The entire dish wasn't even recommended for us. Of course, I am only giving a subjective impression here.

First time there, and also the last time, burgers were cold, children's portion, there wasn't enough schnitzel and it came from the frying pan.

Very rustic restaurant with a beautiful beer garden, disco and cabaret. There is also a bar, a pool table and plenty of activities for children and adults. The food was very good, we were there with a group and everyone enjoyed it.

The Zweischlingen is a little out of the way, with plenty of parking spaces in the parking lot. The furnishings seemed a bit old-fashioned, but somehow they fit the property quite well. There is a small play area for the kids, very great! The food was consistently great! Thank you for that! The menu is well structured, some dishes are listed in such a way that they initially represent a vegetarian dish and a meat side dish can optionally be chosen. The selection of non-alcoholic drinks and the quality of them was excellent. The service was friendly and really quick despite the well-filled restaurant, hats off!

In any case, a very nice location and enough parking spaces, which are difficult to reach because you have to drive through a lot of huge potholes and the car gets messed up. Unfortunately, service was very poor and overwhelmed. There were two of us there and we received our food 10 minutes later, although it took a really long time to even be able to order, even though there wasn't particularly much going on. Burger patty was nice and rosy on the inside, unfortunately burnt on the outside. It was definitely better before. Prices are way too high for the quality of the food. It's a real shame, you could really do a lot more with this location.

Essen wie immer lecker 😋. Trotz großem vieler Gäste vor einem Komödienabend war der Service super. Der Veranstaltungsraum war echt kalt bei Außentemperaturen von - 5°. Daher einen Stern weniger.

Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Silvester 2023/2024....

Ich bin selten so begeistert vom Essen, dass ich Rezensionen schreibe, aber das Essen hier war grandios! Wir waren zur Weihnachtsfeier mit dem Betrieb vor Ort und kann es nur jedem ans Herz legen das zu machen, es war einfach super! Es gab Vorspeisen an den Tisch und den Hauptgang als Buffet, hinterher gab es noch kleine Dessert Gläschen. Das Fleisch war extrem zart, die Saucen vollmundig und im Großen und Ganzen passte einfach alles! Es war einfach ein schöner gelungener Abend! Ich komme auf jeden Fall nochmal wieder.

Wow....wir sitzen hier seit über 1 Stunde und warten auf unser Essen 😡. Um uns herum haben alle ihr Essen schon bekommen ,die viel später als wir da waren. Das nenn ich überhaupt nicht kundenfreundlich. Definitiv komm ich hier nicht nochmal hin. Nachtrag....ich esse nicht gerne lauwarmes essen und Kartoffeln vom Vortag.

Ich bin gestern zum ersten mal dort gewesen und ich habe mich über mich geärgert, dass das erst der erste Besuch war!!! Ich bin immer noch positiv geflasht‼️ -Schön eingerichtet - Tolles Team mit Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit bespickt -Tolles Essen für jeden Gast! Wir haben den Amt genossen und werden sehr bald wieder kommen. Danke Zweischlingen‼️‼️

Gemütlicher Gasthof und Veranstaltungsort. Wir waren vor einem Kabarett zum Essen im Zweischlingen, ein gemütlicher Gasthof mit Biergarten. Leider kam das Essen zunächst getrennt, bedauerlicherweise war das zweite Gericht stark angebrannt und optisch schon „verkohlt“. Die Bedienung nahm die Reklamation gut auf, leider war der „Ersatz“ ebenfalls so stark angebrannt dass ein Verzehr nicht möglich war. Die Getränke gingen auf das Haus, die Stimmung war leider angeschlagen.

Wir waren in einer großen Gruppe vor Ort und das Essen sah bei allen sehr ansprechend aus. Mein Zwiebel Hühnchen war vorzüglich, allerdings sehr pikant. Um einen guten Gin Tonic servieren zu können, sollte man an der Bar auf 0,2 Liter Flaschen umstellen. Tonic vom Vortag kommt nicht so gut.

Ich weis nicht ob ich einen schlechten Abend erwischt habe. Ich hatte einen pulled pork Burger - das pork kam portioniert aus der Kühltruhe. Ab in die Mikrowelle… außen heiß und trocken / innen kalt und nass. Beim ersten großen Biss lief das ganze Wasser natürlich aus- Brötchen dann auch komplett durchnässt.

Gefühlt sehr abgeschieden, aber umso schöner. Die Villa außerhalb von Bielefeld ist sehr schön, die Karte bietet jedem etwas und das Essen war dazu auch noch sehr lecker. Wir haben einen tollen Abend verbracht und werden definitiv wiederkommen.

Tolle Location, tolle Veranstaltung

Seit Ewigkeiten eine Institution und immer wieder einen Besuch wert! Zuletzt unter der Woche (MI, 18 Uhr) dort gewesen, um die herbstliche Saisonkarte zu testen - Lammfilet an Rotweinjus mit Ofenkürbis war ein Gedicht, das Rumpsteak meines Mannes groß und perfekt gebraten. Der Service ist sehr persönlich, man kennt sich als Stammgast. Bedingt durch die frühe Zeit war es noch nicht zu voll und das Essen zügig auf dem Tisch. Die Einrichtung ist "nachhaltig" - viele ältere Esszimmermöbel haben dort ein neues Zuhause gefunden und verbreiten Gemütlichkeit. Der hohe Raum hallt leider ziemlich, so dass es an besucherstarken Tagen recht laut werden kann. Liegt natürlich auch an den Gästen, die sich ständig übertönen müssen... Fazit: sehr leckeres Essen und ein gemütlicher Abend!

Einfach grandios . Danke für alles

Ich war am Freitag zum 1. Mal dort weil mir das Zweischlingen bzgl. netten Leuten in meinem Alter (Ü50), leckerem Essen, schönem Ambiente und Disco mit Musik der 70er, 80er, 90er und Rock/Pop wärmstens empfohlen wurde. Für die ersten drei Punkte gebe ich sehr gern 5 Sterne 🤩! Für die Musik in der Disco leider maximal 1 Stern🥺! Die oben erwähnte Musik wurde so gut wie überhaupt nicht gespielt. Es war eher Club-Musik wie sie meine Tochter mag. Fairer Weise muss ich sagen, dass die Tanzfläche meistens voll war - aber man war ja auch zum Tanzen dorthin gegangen und musste eben nehmen was gespielt wird. Der (junge) DJ und seine Partnerin fanden ihre eigene Musik aber augenscheinlich klasse😏. Musikwünsche wurden leider auch nicht erfüllt. Von anderen Gästen habe ich gehört, dass es noch extremere DJ‘s gibt - das würde ich mir dann lieber nicht anhören wollen 😜! Eigentlich richtig schade! Die Location ist nämlich wirklich klasse, richtig tolles Ambiente, leckeres Essen, super nette Bedienung und man fühlt sich auch altersmässig und als Single sehr wohl - wenn es schönere Musik gegeben hätte wäre es der perfekte Abend gewesen!
