Die Speisekarte wechselt regelmäßig, sodass es immer wieder neue Gerichte zu entdecken gibt. Auch die Wein- und Cocktailkarte ist hervorragend zusammengestellt und bietet für jeden Geschmack das Passende. Ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall! 😊🍷🍸🍽️

Ein idyllischer Freitagmittag, wunderbar leichte Kost, ein kräftiger Grauburgunder, Pfirsicheis. Dass es sowas Angenehmes gibt, macht Freude. Und dann noch der Nachbar von gegenüber, Herr F.: er entschuldigte sich aufrichtig für laute Bauarbeiten und spendierte jedem Gast ein Getränk. So was Nettes haben wir selten erlebt.

Ein ganz tolles Restaurant, in dem man super leckeres, veganes Essen bekommt. Ich habe auch schon mal meine Eltern mitgenommen, die mit veganem Essen sehr wenig Berührungspunkte haben und auch sie waren sehr glücklich und würde wieder kommen.

Tolles, frisches veganes Essen mit sehr nettem Service in einem schönen Ambiente.

Wir haben uns einmal quer durch die Karte probiert und wirklich jedes Gericht war geschmacklich sehr besonders, schön angerichtet und die Portionsgröße hat auch gestimmt. Wir waren mittags dort, es waren einige Tische belegt, dennoch war es ruhig. Der Service war spitze, die Bedienung war ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Unserem Hund wurde direkt Wasser angeboten. Wartezeit fürs Essen war auch spitze. 100%ige Empfehlung auch für „Allesesser“

Das Essen ist sehr lecker mit toller Auswahl, die heiße Waffel zum Nachtisch war mein Highlight. Leider ist es im Nebenraum etwas ungemütlich zu sitzen wenn mehr Gäste da sind, weil es recht laut ist. Ein wenig Schallschutz würde dem Raum gut tun.

Köstliches Essen! Wir hatten die Harissa Möhren mit Bulgur und Tzatziki, absoluter Gaumenschmaus! Service auch gut und sehr zentrale Location in schöner Straße

Ein Restaurant indem man auch als nicht Veganer von der Qualität der veganen Küche überzeugen lassen kann.... aber mittlerweile sind die Portionen zum Teil echt klein geworden. 3 sehr leckere kleine Pilzravioli mit Tomatensauce für 19€ (Vorspeisengröße) als Hauptgericht ist schon happig.....

Sehr leckeres Essen! Und das Personal war auch freundlich.

Ich bin eigentlich regelmäßig hier, mal für toogoodtogo, mal nehme ich ein Stück Kuchen für den Heimweg mit und meine Frau isst hier häufiger. Ich habe in der Vergangenheit stets Geduld bewiesen – selbst wenn ich öfter vor verschlossener Tür stand (Stichwort „krankheitsbedingte Schließung“). Da ich finde, dass Gesundheit vorgeht, habe ich das immer locker genommen. Mein heutiger Besuch war leider nicht so angenehm. ​Ich kam um 16:30 Uhr (30 Minuten vor Ladenschluss), um zwei „Too Good To Go“-Boxen abzuholen. Da an der Theke noch zwei Sorten Kuchen unter Glasglocken standen (beide noch ca. zur Hälfte vorhanden), wollte ich spontan noch ein Stück regulär dazu kaufen. ​Anstatt mich zu bedienen, wurde ich von dem jungen Mitarbeiter in einem völlig indiskutablen Ton angeblafft. Warum genau der Verkauf eines offensichtlich vorhandenen Kuchens ein Problem darstellte, blieb unklar – vermutlich war im Kopf schon Feierabend, was an sich ja auch okay wäre. Ich habe auch gerne pünktlich Schluss, aber eben nicht in diesem Ton.

Ausgezeichneter Service und hervorragende Qualität!

Jeder der zweifelt, ob vegane Küche etwas ist für einem selbst, sollte dort hin. Die Gerichte sind famous, liebevoll zusammengestellt. Die Einrichtung ist spartanisch, zweckmäßig mit einer gemütlichen Sitzecke. Reservierung ist zwingend erforderlich. Service ist sehr aufmerksam und Gästeorientiert.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Zu Beginn gab es jedoch Schwierigkeiten mit der Reservierung: Offenbar wurde aufgrund identischer Vornamen angenommen, die Reservierung sei bereits erfasst, sodass sie letztlich nur einmal notiert wurde. Dadurch stand zunächst kein Tisch für uns zur Verfügung. Zwar wurde uns anschließend ein Tisch angeboten, aber diesen mussten wir später noch einmal wechseln. Dann saßen wir im Nebenraum, der aufgrund fehlender Teppiche oder Vorhänge sehr laut ist und stark hallt. Hier ließe sich die Akustik sicherlich verbessern. Insgesamt haben wir uns dennoch wohlgefühlt und kommen grundsätzlich gerne wieder.

Hot chocolate sollte hier "heißer Kakao" heißen. Unter hot chocolate verstehe ich etwas anderes: Ich habe Milch mit Kakaopulver erhalten, ganz flüssig.

Mittagessen war sehr lecker, Service war aufmerksam. Aber: wir saßen zu fünft an einem Tisch im Nebenraum und es war dort - nach unser aller Empfinden - zu kühl. Also liebe Leute: wir kommen gerne wieder zu euch, dann jedoch sollte die Raumtemperatur angenehmer sein, nicht nur damut das Essen nicht so schnell kalt wird ;-)

Restaurant 22 is simply fantastic – you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The service is warm, attentive, and yet unobtrusive. The food? A dream! Every course is perfectly balanced, creatively presented, and bursting with flavor. I was particularly impressed by the combination of regional ingredients and modern cuisine – you can tell that the chefs here are passionate about cooking. The atmosphere is also exceptional: stylish, cozy, and relaxed – perfect for a special evening for two or with friends. The wine selection is outstanding and perfectly complements the dishes. In short: Highly recommended! Anyone who loves good vegan food and genuine enjoyment should definitely visit Restaurant 22. I'll definitely be back! 🍷✨

Cozy dining in a creative vintage ambiance. We'd never been to a vegan restaurant before and just wanted to try it out... And we came away thrilled! Friendly service, delicious new flavors. Not everyone has to become vegan; cuisine thrives on variety, and that's exactly what you get here. A quick tip: If you need parking, plan ahead; it's difficult nearby. Dogs are welcome. Water is provided. There's plenty of space between most tables.

I was once again at 22 with a skeptical meat-eater. After our visit, he ordered the restaurant's out-of-stock cookbook from Amazon. You can't achieve more than that as a vegan restaurant.

I went to 22 in Geisenheim with a man, and we had a truly lovely evening. The food was incredibly delicious—perfectly cooked and made with love. The service was also super friendly and attentive, yet pleasantly unobtrusive. The ambiance is stylish yet cozy; you immediately feel at home.

Service was a bit "dreamy." If he'd come by a bit more often, he probably would have doubled his sales. But he was super nice. It just doesn't help with thirst. The food was delicious, except for the rissotto. The rissotto was very greasy and the rice really wasn't great. My burger was fantastic. Dessert, lavender panna cotta, was also very good. The lemon curd tart was very tasty, but the consistency could be improved. We'd be happy to come back. Thank you.

We ordered five meals and, unfortunately, after waiting for an hour, only received three due to a service error. That can happen, and it's not a big deal. Unfortunately, we had to wait another hour for the two forgotten meals. While the guests who arrived after us were served diligently, that shouldn't happen. Even while we were waiting, the service was barely appreciable, and we had to wait a long time for cutlery after the food arrived. The food was very good; it's a shame the service wasn't good that day.

Incredibly delicious food, great aroma, imaginative menu, friendly staff - simply perfect.

We were only able to order drinks, even though we called ahead to order food. Even the drinks took forever to arrive, even though there were hardly any people there. This begs the question: why couldn't we get any food, but the table next to us was being served plenty of food?

We were there as a mixed couple, comprising both vegans and omnivores. The vegan food was something special, as evidenced by the awards we won on the wall. It was a shame that for me, an omnivore and someone who doesn't like legumes, there weren't even any pasta dishes available. I would have happily eaten those with a meat substitute.

A definite asset to the Rheingau region, especially for vegans. They don't attempt to replace meat or dairy products one-to-one, but rather create new dishes using regional and seasonal produce in a creative culinary way. Both the breakfast menu, the daily specials menu, and daily specials offer a wide selection – and the drinks selection is more than extensive. The taste is top-notch, and everyone on the service team is always super warm and friendly. I enjoy coming here several times a week and recommend it to every vegan and non-vegan alike. ...

A culinary highlight in the Rheingau! The restaurant Zwei und Zwanzig impresses with creative, vegan cuisine that even meat lovers will love. Delicious without meat? Zwei und Zwanzig offers exceptionally good vegan cuisine at fair prices. Burgers, for example, are available for under ten euros. Plus, the friendly and competent service. I'll be happy to come back.

Delicious, warm, vegan - what more could you want. It's great that you exist. It tastes great every time and the location in the middle of the city is also great. I'm secretly hoping for even more branches in the Rheingau 🙂 How about a "three and twenty" in Eltville?

I'm a hunter and my fiancée is vegan, we can both eat delicious food here. Even as a convinced meat eater, I would like to come back. I had gyros and the burger.

Sehr entspanntes Lokal, umwerfend freundliche und aufmersame Bedienung und köstliches Essen. Was für eine geschmackliche Bereicherung! Wir aßen quer durch die Karte und bedauerten nicht noch mehr verschiedene Speisen probieren zu können.

I can only recommend ordering, sometimes it doesn't work because the store is busy. Dishes are original, tasty and don't leave you in the stomach. The ambience is rather simple, slightly sparse. But fine according to the clientele. I find drinks slightly expensive. These amount to 10-15 euros more for two people, depending on the choice of drink. Incl. Tip. Otherwise, the restaurant is a first-class choice for eating a variety of food; even meat lovers will definitely get their money's worth with meat-free dishes here. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

Unfortunately, I was rather disappointed with my visit to Zwei und Zwanzig a few days ago. The wild garlic spaetzle had little to no wild garlic flavor, were significantly underseasoned for me, and had an extremely mushy consistency in the mouth. I understand that vegan spaetzle is difficult to replicate due to the lack of egg, but if the best result tastes like that or has that consistency, in my opinion, it shouldn't be on any menu, and above all, it's not worth €18. The poppy seed crème brûlée was delicious, but too firm for my taste. My friends' burgers were delicious. I found the service friendly, but too unprofessional for the somewhat "upscale" setting, or at least the prices. There were frequent miscommunications/stuttering, and when taking orders from the tray, I had to ask for the wine numbers and exact names of the dishes several times (presumably to enter them on the tray). In my opinion, a server should be able to remember these things. The loud personal conversations with the bar staff and the loud banging of wooden cards into the storage area also didn't seem to fit the ambiance. Overall, as a long-time vegan, I'm unfortunately disappointed and probably won't be coming back again, which is a shame!

Simply amazing, very tasty dishes. Real fine vegan dining! Mushroom slices, Wild garlic potato soup and Blueberry Poppy Seed Creme Brulee were great! We'd love to come back.

Very relaxed, cozy restaurant in which vegan dishes are not an unimaginative hodgepodge of side dishes, but rather creative and very tasty new combinations.

A top restaurant with vegan cuisine that is second to none. The entire concept is simply incredibly coherent and makes eating an experience. Innovative, varied menu, regional and mostly organic products! So far everything I've eaten there has been super delicious and a total inspiration for yourself about how diverse and delicious vegan cuisine can be. But even if you don't particularly value a vegan diet, just good food, a visit is definitely worth it. The whole thing is rounded off by a good selection of drinks and delicious cakes.

Pleasantly minimalist furnishings, homely, friendly service staff, creative selection of food and drinks. My tip: Mushroom gyros...so delicious. Very tasty mocktails 🍹 My recommendation.

We spontaneously drove past last week on the way through (January 2). I didn't think you'd find such a great vegan restaurant in such a small town. The food was super tasty (great menu, mix of modern and home-style), portions were very good, prices were reasonable. The good service was particularly commendable, even though there was a lot to do (and there might have been a breakdown) - something of a rarity these days. It's a shame that I rarely come here :-)

Today's Advent brunch was great! Everything was very tasty and empty plates were immediately refilled at the buffet. I really enjoy being a guest at Twenty-two and can highly recommend it even for non-vegans!

Why do I still eat meat? And why can't I make a mushroom gyro myself? Nothing is missing. There's even more flavor in it than almost any other gyro in a decades-long journey through the menus of many restaurants. The roll with the Chinese cabbage was also more than convincing. Nice service rounds everything off and we would be happy to come back. The positive side note was that we didn't feel hungry again until late in the day. I think I'll have to take the cookbook with me next time. If I don't get it done, there's another reason to come back.

The food tastes very, very good. The service is good, but the employees seemed overwhelmed in some places. I had to wait longer until I “caught” the staff so I could shout that I would like to pay. Otherwise top service, very accommodating and friendly.

The restaurant is really a nice place to spend a cozy evening. Unfortunately one of our food was wrong and we had a not so pleasant outcome of our evening. That was a shame. Thank you for your feedback and your thoughts on possible intolerances. There are no incompatibilities between either of us. We have often eaten chanterelles, legumes and potato peels without any problems. Since the condition occurred very soon after eating (profuse vomiting), the doctor assumes that something was wrong with the chanterelles. A “Next time there will be a free drink or something similar” would have been nice. In general, I read here that negative criticism is not welcomed and is responded to with sentences like "so many people have eaten that and never had anything before" (or something similar). Maybe those people just didn't get back to you ;-)

We traveled here two years late due to Corona (unfortunately we had to cancel our reservation at short notice) after the restaurant was very well discussed in a podcast (Helmut Gothe). It was really fantastic what vegan cuisine we were offered here. We had a great evening, thank you again for the friendly service! A fancy shop with incredibly delicious vegan food. Super seasoned, great quality. Chai latte, which was, at my request, not so heavily sweetened and was a treat for the palate😊

One of the best restaurants in the Rhine-Main area. It's a shame, the slightly rancid atmosphere with newspaper instead of wallpaper on the wall has been spruced up with a fresh coat of paint, but it's still nice there.

Food wasn't bad, but not quite my thing. I have already recommended it to at least some people who are into that sort of thing. Staff was very friendly. The location is great. Also, at least to me, there is no known competition, which is why you have to go here! :) UPDATE: After 5 years I finally liked it ;)

Wow, what a great meal! We came here spontaneously and were completely thrilled. Very nice atmosphere, friendly service and 2 great bowls. I also think the price/performance ratio is really good. If I lived nearby I would definitely be there more often, even as a non-vegan.

To be honest: If someone in Wiesbaden asks me how to get to the best vegan restaurant in the city, I say: from here 10 minutes to the train station, then 25 minutes on the RB 10 to Geisenheim and then to Twenty-two. Very tasty but also creative dishes. We had tempeh burgers with kimchi and potato wedges with mint dip, zucchini rolls with beetroot cream and Chinese cabbage rolls. There would also have been mushroom gyros, cauliflower gratin, shakshuka, pancakes and so on. Everything tasted excellent and at a really fair price! Staff is courteous and very friendly. Together with the beautiful furnishings, everything just fits. Next we try breakfast, omNomNom!

We became aware of the 22nd by chance and made a reservation for today. Super friendly service, nice atmosphere and the food... simply a dream. Regional, fresh and homemade slow food at a reasonable price. We have never experienced better vegan cuisine. We'll be back soon!

We had heard about the praised restaurant and came specifically for it and personally I wouldn't travel there again. The restaurant itself was very nicely and comfortably furnished, with relaxed music playing. The menu is pleasantly manageable, unfortunately the daily menu was already out at lunchtime. The food came quickly and the starter with aioli was really excellent. Unfortunately, my main course and that of my companion lacked a bit of bite, and to be honest I found the rather expensive prices (only the main courses, the rest is really fair!) a bit unreasonable. Unfortunately, the negative point was the staff, who seemed quite annoyed and somewhat sulky, even though there wasn't much going on. Overall, a really good experience in a really nice environment, but I've also eaten similar things in other vegan restaurants without having to travel half an hour. If you're there, it's definitely not a bad idea and it's definitely a commendable approach.

Indescribably good culinary experience. Simply delicious. The vegan version tasted better than a very good version of the “original”, for example the gyro. This is great culinary art. One of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had, not just in comparison to other vegan restaurants but in general. Great, will definitely come again.

Just saw a report on TV about the nice restaurant, the friendly owner and the inspiring thoughts behind it. If I'm ever in the area, I'll have to eat here! Until then 5☆ ;) Keep it up, we need more people like this!

Wow! That was really good! The restaurant is completely casual and relaxed, as is the service. There is a unisex toilet, as is often the case in France and Spain, for example. Things look a bit chaotic left and right on the way to the toilet, but so be it. That somehow fits here. But I was here because of the food! And they were absolutely great! I didn't miss meat and fish! The dishes were very tasty. In the Chinese cabbage roulade with blackberry teriyaki, the blackberry was only visible but still very tasty. Afterwards I had the beetroot dumplings and that was absolutely amazing. The filling was perfect! The broccoli wasn't necessary and in my opinion it didn't go well with it. I could have easily imagined a parsley root puree. But so be it! It was great! Afterwards I treated myself to the fantastic pear tartin with lemon espuma. Overall really great. I'll be back. The excellent price-performance ratio must definitely be mentioned!

Die Familie ist am Abend hier zufällig gelandet. Uns hat das Ambiente und der Stil angezogen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten das Pilzgyros, den Falafel Wrap, einen Salat und die mexikanische Süsskartoffel. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Zutaten interessant kombiniert. Die Drinks und die selbstgemachte Limonade waren auch köstlich. Eine gute Adresse nicht nur für Veganer. Als Nächstes probieren wir mal das Frühstück.

Simply great. In the middle of the old town, a really nice restaurant, very nice and attentive staff. The dishes are not only very tasty, they are also beautifully presented and taste very good. Prices are also right, the black beans burger is absolutely okay at €9.50 and the wedges are just really tasty. We were absolutely thrilled and will definitely come back.

Wow, that's probably the best way you can describe it. I love the simple, natural implementation. Everything tastes exactly what it should be, is cooked with love and is a feast for the eyes. I love driving here from Wiesbaden.

Very tasty food made with love and extremely good value for money. The portions are really big, so we had to share the amazing dessert. :-D You can sit nicely both outside and inside and the service was very friendly and present without being intrusive.

It was fantastically tasty and we can recommend the Spicy Tempeh burger & the breaded eggplant! Delicious non-alcoholic gin (especially good for me when I'm pregnant). Service great and very very nice!

The food was very tasty. It wasn't just "vegetarian" but very creative.

The service was very friendly and I also liked the atmosphere. To be honest, I didn't think the price-performance ratio was that good. For €18, half a sweet potato with lentil hummus and a few vegetables that don't fill you up. The taste was okay, but the price was too expensive in my opinion.
