Zur Züchterklause in Philippsburg

Very nice place. I was there for the DM BDS and found it via Google Maps. It was incredibly cozy; I was really surprised. I sat outside, which revealed two cozy spots in the courtyard and a separate room. I wanted to end the evening. It's right in the center of Philippsburg. The service, and I think the manager too, was very friendly and attentive. I would go back anytime I'm in the area.

Overall everything was good, we were invited to a wedding there, unfortunately the wedding meal was postponed by around 45 minutes - 1 hour because other guests were coming, sorry, I've also been to restaurants and that's not possible when you've booked. Then the guests actually have to wait, there was no mayo with the fries, just ketchup. The beef was in the oven too long and was just overcooked. The pork was over-salted, the croquettes were too mushy and the schnitzel, if you were lucky, was OK or not and tasted of old potato chip grease, just like the nuggets and fries themselves. All in all, I personally wouldn't go there again, sorry, the only thing that was accommodating and accommodated guests' wishes was the staff.

A highly recommended restaurant with a great beer garden. The tapas are fresh and delicious! Very attentive and friendly staff. Plus, a boss who's always in a good mood and always takes the time for a quick chat. We'd love to come back!

I arrived around 6 p.m. and asked for a table for dinner. The kitchen was already closed, and there was nothing left to eat. Sad and funny at the same time...
