Great food that definitely justifies the price Nice staff who acted courteously We would be happy to come back

Now I slept on it for a night and decided to write a review because what we experienced doesn't match the euphoria that is posted here: We were at the Löwenbräu on Saturday, August 31st, 2024 around 6:30 p.m., my daughter was visiting and I had invited my son, we wanted to enjoy a nice evening and have a nice meal, I chose the Löwenbräu. The entrance was very pleasant, the table was ready, the decoration and beer garden were right, my thought was that I would like to come here again. The drinks were picked up quickly, the owner picked up my hat, which I had put on a free chair and had then fallen down, everything was wonderful, we felt comfortable. Then suddenly it was like being in the wrong movie: After we had ordered the food, 3 groups of guests arrived, obviously regulars, who were warmly welcomed. They also had their food on the table very quickly and in the last group, at the neighboring table, the appetizer platter for several people made a big appearance. It had been more than half an hour since we ordered, so I asked the waitress if we had been forgotten, which she said no, but wanted to ask. After a few minutes she came back with the information that our food was being prepared (the other guests who came after us were already quite far into their meal and our food was being prepared?!?). Not that I believed that, but oh well... Fifteen minutes later the time had come for us, so our food arrived almost an hour after we ordered and if my partner and I had been alone, we would have spoken to the landlord immediately, but out of consideration for my children and not that evening To ruin things, I said nothing, even though it was becoming increasingly difficult for me: We had 2 x the gourmet schnitzel, which consisted of 2 small, dry industrial schnitzels, a blob of dried hollandaise sauce on top, a hint of shaped shoulder ham on top with a few charred spots from the gratinating, plus some carelessly thrown fries of lower quality and probably older ones Cooked in fat, my partner's spaetzle was pale and dry, i.e. h. served without sauce. Both dishes didn't even have a salad garnish, only some (at least) fresh parsley was sprinkled over the spaetzle. In terms of quantity, my daughter's Kässpätzle were an appetizer over which a layer of cheese had been placed, with no trace of creamy consistency and only a small amount of fried onions. A disgrace for a chef in the catering industry. Not much can be said about my son's pinza, but here too I had the impression that it was frozen food. I was still seriously considering coming here again and discussing our food with the landlord, because everyone should be given a chance to improve (which is why I'm taking the time to write this in detail), but it turned out even “better”: A few minutes later the waitress came to the table and asked if everything was OK now? If it wasn't okay before, she didn't let it show and if it was, then was it my fault as a "problem guest" because I asked about our food? We noticed the dispute between the waitresses after my question and it was also clear that it was about our table. That's when I decided to drop the topic. The conclusion is that the price-performance ratio is not right and the guest is given a feeling that rules out a return, at least with us. The courted and clearly preferred regular guests certainly see things differently, but we will never achieve this status.

We attended a birthday party where the food was delivered and served by Restaurant Löwenbräu. Everything was very good, varied and very attractively presented. The owner was there himself and was very friendly. If the food in the restaurant is as first-class as we assume it is, it is highly recommended.

Our favorite restaurant for many years. Orhan and his wife are lovely hosts! The food is great, the location is super beautiful with attention to detail. Just feel good and eat delicious food! Price-performance ratio is absolutely right. Today we went to Mother's Day break. A buffet, something for everyone. It was another break from everyday life! Always happy to come back!

We were here after an event in Philippsburg. From the ambience to the service to the quality of the food, it's simply perfect. As a starter I had an asparagus cream soup with pieces of asparagus and as a main course I had the Angus rump steak with onions and grilled vegetables. Both highly recommended. We'd love to come back next time.

First of all... unfortunately the ambience is still missing a star... great restaurant... we are already looking forward to warmer days in the inner courtyard. Great team and great food...the attention from the team was great. Simply recommended.

We were there yesterday for a birthday party. The atmosphere is tastefully decorated, cozy and very inviting. Parking spaces are right in front of the door. The food is more upscale cuisine. The greeting from the kitchen tasted very good. The variety of starters was a dream and wonderfully prepared. The main course was also very tasty. The portions are generous and our wishes were also taken into account. The price/performance ratio is absolutely right here. We felt completely comfortable. The boss, his wife and the entire team are very nice, polite and accommodating. This restaurant is only recommended!

Went there spontaneously (Good Friday). Without reservation. It was packed. Nevertheless, something was made possible. Very friendly and flexible service. Fantastic food. Although it's a day when you shouldn't be surprised that there was a purely fish/seafood menu, something (a really great dish with poultry, excellent vegetables and fried potatoes) was spontaneously prepared for my companion (who doesn't like fish). conjured. My pike perch with a wonderful risotto and sensational vegetables was world class. Definitely come here regularly now! Absolute emo failure!!!

Great atmosphere, beautiful beer garden with lots of old trees, olive trees, tasteful decorative elements and also a covered area. Beautifully illuminated in the evening. You feel like you're on vacation in southern France. Service was very friendly, food was excellent. The only drawback is that the menu is very clear in terms of selection, you have to wait a long time for the food to arrive. We waited about 50 minutes. But, the wait was worth it. By the way, Best Steak in Town and Surrounding Area. 👍 Update 2024: The map has changed a lot for the better, absolutely great! A lot more choice. More varied! Seasonal menu, always new promotions. Christmas, Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, asparagus season, police, etc. Simply great! Always come up with something new. There are now new staff who are super attentive and friendly. No waiting times at all. You are immediately shown to a table, your order is taken quickly and friendly and delivered super quickly. Long waits for food are also a thing of the past. Sometimes the boss even comes to the table and asks if everything is okay. In short, the Löwenbräu leaves nothing to be desired. We would love to come back!

Very great atmosphere. Everything was great as a starter of oysters, lamb as a main course and tiramisu as a dessert. All the other dishes at our family dinner were also great. Boss very accommodating and child-friendly.

We were there at Christmas with several people. The service was great and the ambience is also very nice. We weren't impressed with the food. The price-performance ratio wasn't right at all. Chicken breast was way too dry in 4 meals. The Jägertopf came with two croquettes as a side dish, but there was only one with each meal. The fish dish was also objectionable. Only the rump steaks were praiseworthy. We checked the recessions beforehand and that's why we went here. Either the chef had a bad day...we can't explain that either. As I said, there were several people of us. The disappointment was mostly great

Gelungene Weihnachtsfeier: Weihnachtsfeier mit 60 Personen in Olis Stadl - uriges Chalet im Biergarten: Wiedereimal super zufrieden im Löwenbräu Philippsburg! Eingedeckt war festlich weihnachtlich an zwei runden und drei länglichen Tischen. Es kümmerten sich mehre, überaus freundliche und kundenorientierte Bedienungen um unsere Gruppe. Das Essen, wie gewohnt sehr liebevoll angerichtet, sehr lecker und reichlich, wurde tischweise gemeinsam, heiß serviert. Das war super und einmal mehr Verlass auf das Wirte-Ehepaar ! Besonders wertschätzend empfanden wir, dass auch Beide uns persönlich begrüßten und immer mal wieder zu uns in das Stadl kamen. Immer wieder würden wir unsere Weihnachtsfeier bei Suna und Orhan empfehlen. Die Location ist alpenländisch gemütlich, schön warm und urig. Eine Box mit Mikro wurde uns gestellt und erleichterte so Manches. Der Ablauf war überaus reibungslos, das Essen phantastisch, die Abrechnung problemlos und zügig. Preis-Leistungsverhältniis stimmt! Bedienungen auf sind „ auf zack“. Auf Sonderwünsche wurde bestens eingegangen. Immer wieder gerne! 100prozentige Weiterempfehlung!!!

Ein wunderschöner Biergarten, sehr nette und aufmerksame Bedienung und dazu klasse Speisen und Getränke. Es blieb kein Wunsch offen. Preis / Leistung passt genau.

Das vegane Nudelgericht ist mit Käse überbacken und im Beilagensalat ist Fleischwurst mit drin - an der vegetarisch / veganen Front ließe sich also noch arbeiten. Die Location ist aber ungeachtet dessen ganz gemütlich und der Service echt gut.

Super Ambiente und ein top Biergarten mit nettem Service! Aaaber: Das Schnitzel mit den Bratkartoffeln hatte leider nur Pommesbudenniveau! Das Fleisch nur TK-Massenware und die Bratkartoffel zwar frisch, aber nicht ganz durch... Das war im Leben keine 15€ noch was wert!! Besser: Der Chefspieß, lecker Fleisch, aber etwas zu durch und auch leicht angebrannt und mit fast 22€ auch etwas zu teuer. Die Beilagen waren sehr übersichtlich. Gehen wir hier noch mal hin? Nein.

Nach einem etwas holprigen Start, wurde es ein fröhlicher, kulinarisch sehr guter Abend. Mit Humor wurde bedient, ein wenig Unterhaltung wurde auch geboten und ein Obolus aufs Haus gab es auch. Wir waren 8 rundum zufriedene Personen in einem wirklich schönen Ambiente, ob drinnen oder draußen!

Eine der Top Adressen wenns um Gutes Essen in schönem Ambiente hier in der Gegend geht. Das Essen köstlich und on Point, der Service war sehr aufmerksam und professionell, ein tolles Team. Gern wieder!

Wir haben Ende Juni unsere Hochzeit im kleinen Kreis im Löwenbräu gefeiert. Wir hatten den unteren Raum für uns alleine. Da Kleinkinder dabei waren wurde uns auch Kinderstühle zur Verfügung gestellt. Wir haben aus der normalen Speisekarte eine kleine Speisekarte zusammengestellt. Dekoriert wurde auch etwas, die restliche Deko durften wir nach Absprache selbst gestalten. Der Service war super. Es wurde auf jede Kleinigkeit geachtet. Nicht nur die Erwachsenen waren begeistert, sondern auch die Kinder. Das Essen war wie immer unfassbar lecker und wir hatten auch kaum Wartezeit. Wir haben bestellt und keine 5 Minuten später war die Vorspeise (welche wir vorab besprochen haben) auf dem Tisch. Auf unsere Wünsche wurde jederzeit eingegangen. Wir bedanken uns sehr bei Orhan und seinem Team! Übrigens: alle Gäste waren sehr von dem Kellner begeistert, da er unfassbar professionell und freundlich ist

Sehr schönes Restaurant. Haben zu zweit im Biergarten/Innenhof gesessen. Viel Vintage Dekoration. Hatten nicht reserviert, ist aber zu empfehlen. Haben einen schönen Tisch bekommen und wurden zügig und sehr freundlich bedient. Essen war richtig gut. Hatten Beilagensalat, Spaghetti und Kalbsschnitzel(wie es sich gehört aus der Pfanne mit luftiger Panade) Die Preise haben der Qualität entsprochen, nicht überteuert. Der Name des Lokals ist etwas irreführend, hat nichts mit der Münchner Löwenbräu zu tun. Das Brauhaus Phillipsburger Löwenbräu existiert nicht mehr. Im Ausschank ist Krombacher.

Wir waren am Samstag mit Freunden im Löwenbräu zum Essen. Das Ambiente im Biergarten war mega schön und man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Das Essen war sehr lecker und eine wirklich tolle Küche. Der Service war hervorragend und sehr zuvorkommend. Kaum war ein Glas leer wurde sofort gefragt ob wir noch etwas zu Trinken möchten. Toller Chef, dem das Wohl der Angestellten sehr am Herzen liegt. Der Chef hatte sich am Ende noch zu uns gesetzt und wir hatten tolle Gespräche. Rundum gelungener Abend in einem sehr tollen Lokal. Wir sind öfters Gäste im Löwenbräu. Und weil wir so begeistert sind haben wir uns dazu entschieden unsere Hochzeit dort zu feiern. Vorab wurden uns verschiedene Vorschläge gemacht und es wurde immer auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen. Und wir hatten unsere absolute Traum Hochzeit. Es wurde wunderschön dekoriert, das Ambiente sah für uns traumhaft aus. Unsere Trauung fand vor Ort statt und es war von Anfang an perfekt. Unsere Gäste wurden so freundlich, nett, respektvoll, herzlich empfangen. Jeder Wunsch wurde uns von den Augen abgelesen. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich, sehr aufmerksam und da ist der Gast wirklich König. Auch auf kurzfristige Änderungen wurde sofort reagiert. Unsere Fotografin ist Vegnerin und auch da wurde ihr ein Gericht gezaubert. Wir erinnern uns so gerne an unseren Tag auch weil das Team vom Löwenbräu wahnsinnig viel dazu beigetragen hat. Wenn ich könnte würde ich noch mehr Sterne 🌟 vergeben. Und nach diesem traumhaft schönen Tag denken wir an all die wunderschönen Momente und Erinnerungen wenn wir dort sind. Auch unsere Gäste waren sehr begeistert. Ein riesengroßes Dankeschön für unseren schönsten Tag.

Super Ambiente, nichts aus der Dose alles frisch und sehr aromatisch habe heute meinen 60 gefeiert und wurde mehr als gut verwöhnt und ein Bussi von der Chefin bekomme 🤩
