Ergänzung: Die letzten zwei Tage wieder dort gewesen, absolut MEGA!!!! Toller Service, leckeres Essen, alles einfach TOP!!! Jederzeit und immer wieder gerne! Also manche Menschen, wenn man deren Bewertungen so liest: Jeder sollte heute froh sein, dass es solch eine Gastro wie Zur Vreed noch gibt, eine über 100 Jahre alte Tradition! Natürlich kommt dann die Einrichtung schon mal in die Jahre, aber: Wir sind super oft dort, quasi regelmäßig! Dort war es noch nie nicht sauber oder ordentlich. Es war bisher immer sauber und auch ordentlich! Immer ALLES TOP: Mega leckeres ESSEN! SUPER PREISE!!! Waren erst gestern und letzten Donnerstag wieder da, beide Male wie oben beschrieben!

Die besten Hähnchen überhaupt in schöner gemütlicher, rustikaler Atmosphäre.

Sehr leckeres, gutbürgerliche Essen. Fairen Preise. Kommen immer wieder gerne hier hin.

Also ordentlich und sauber ist anders. Wir sind nicht geblieben weil es für uns einfach nicht sauber genug war. Außerdem ist alles einfach nur in die Jahre gekommen. Wie kann man dort überhaupt Gäste empfangen, ich würde mich als Gastgeber schämen. Sorry, aber das Restaurant geht gar nicht.

Die besten Hähnchen weit und breit

Ich finde das Lokal sehr authentisch. Es gefällt mir dort sehr gut. Die Bedienung ist herzlich und zuvorkommend und das Essen schmeckt auch super. Was will man mehr. Wir waren jetzt nochmals hier, allerdings nur um etwas zu trinken. Meine Freundin und ich hatten einen Kaffee und mein Mann ein Altbier. Der Kaffe hat unglaublich gut geschmeckt und das Bier war sehr professionell gezapft. Die Atmosphäre war wie immer sehr schön. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Uns dreien hat es ausgesprochen gut gefallen. Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch.

Der Service war freundlich, das Essen köstlich, aber das Ambiente erinnert an die 1960er-Jahre. Die Einrichtung und die Wände sind altmodisch, die Fenster ungeputzt, alles staubig; vielleicht hätten sie ein paar Dinge entsorgen und neu streichen sollen.⁸

Sehr leckere Hähnchen. Kann man empfehlen. Auch die Inhaber sind sehr freundliche Leute. Das Preis Leistungs-verhältnis ist spitze. Gerne immer wieder.

Einrichtung wie die damaligen alten Gaststätten mit einem dazugehörigen Biergarten. Leckeres Essen. Nette Bedienung.

Wir waren schon öfters zum Hähnchen essen dort. Es ist etwas teurer als die anderen Hähnchen Restaurants in der nähe. Dafür ist aber das Hähnchen auch wirklich sehr lecker. Die Bratkartoffeln kann ich auch sehr empfehlen. Der Service ist gut und sehr Kinderlieb. Würden wir näher dran wohnen, würden wir viel öfter kommen.

Das Essen ist gut wenn auch etwas klein geraten. Der Biergarten ist schön aber für Kinder nichts. Spielplatz nicht mehr zu nutzen. Innenbereich Altmodisch und schreit nach Renovierung. Schwanke zwischen 2 und 5 Sternen.Personal ist freundlich könnte aber umsatzorientierter nach dem Wohlbefinden Ausschau halten. Trotzdem äußerst angenehm da etwas zu den meisten anderen Restaurants in Krefeld auffällt....

Im Ruhrgebiet würde man von einer Frittenranch sprechen. Urig, mit Charme und genauso wie vor zwanzig Jahren punktet das Lokal mit halben Hähnchen, Schnitzeln und Fritten zu zivilen Preisen. Draußen im Biergarten oder drinnen, wo die Zeit stehen geblieben ist und nebenan bestimmt ein Stammtisch tagt.

The chickens are very small and a bit too expensive. The taste was okay, but the fried potatoes were very good. I will try it again but with a different dish.

After 25 years as a regular guest, I was there for the last time today, thanks to the hospitality shown today

It took 10 minutes to order a drink. We waited 20 minutes for a drink. Then another 95 minutes for the food we ordered. Strangely, guests who arrived later were served first. Hence, less than one star. I've never experienced such chaos. It was our first time here and our last. Not recommended. Additional information: we asked for the bill. After 10 minutes, my partner went inside, and after a wake-up call, the bill was finally brought out. It also included my ordered salad, which I never got. The chicken was tasteless, deep-fried, overcooked, and impossible to eat without a drink. Two tablespoons of fries were also included, which were charged extra, of course. Last but not least: the mayonnaise was salad mayonnaise, not for fries, as it's slightly acidic. We have to work hard to avoid the recessions of the past few years. I'll keep my fingers crossed 👍🏻

Yes. The quality of service, food, and drinks is very good.

The half chicken with fries is definitely not recommended, as the fried half chicken is too hard, and the fries are similar. The total price plus two regular small Cokes and mayonnaise was €37. We sat outside, and the paint on the tables was peeling badly. I'd describe the overall appearance of the place as mediocre (there's no gardener, or at least it looks like it).

You can't actually even drink beer here because the air inside is so musty. Unfortunately we didn't like the food. Many snack bars can do this better.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening at Zur Vreed! We already knew the outside area, but this time we sat inside for the first time and were not disappointed. We were able to spend a relaxing evening as a group in a pleasantly dim atmosphere. Particularly nice: our little dog was also there and was given a warm welcome, a really pet-friendly restaurant! The innkeeper was extremely friendly and accommodating. Despite the house being full, the entire team was attentive and very professional. We also really enjoyed the food. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back. A clear recommendation for everyone who appreciates a good atmosphere, hearty food, warm hospitality and a rustic ambience.

I was there for the first time yesterday, my partner knew it from before Corona and what can we say... simply great 👍 The food was good, homely and very tasty, very friendly and familiar restaurant, we will definitely be back, keep it up👍🫶

Unfortunately, everything inside is a little old. The food and service make up for everything. The best chicken in Krefeld. We are always happy to come here again.

Fried chicken, if you like it I'm not a big fan of it. Potato salad according to the menu, supposedly homemade but store-bought sometimes tastes better.

Were here again today after a while. We were looking forward to the chicken and the gourmet schnitzel. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed, firstly with the service. The employees were friendly, but probably not able to pass on our order. After waiting for an hour, we asked and were told that the order had not been fulfilled. So we ordered again. After another half hour we went to ask again. Then, strangely enough, it happened pretty quickly because the food came after 10 minutes. Unfortunately, we were also disappointed in terms of taste. Unfortunately, I also think the price is excessive for what is on offer. Unfortunately we won't be coming back. It's a shame, actually we were always happy to be there.

This time 1/2 chicken without taste / side salad very clear for € 4.50 with ready-made sauce / Jägerschnitzel - bag sauce - broken fries € 4 ..... Food came 17 minutes after ordering. But drinks cold and service fast. The older cook wasn't in the kitchen either. Too bad.....

We ate here a few weeks ago and weren't impressed at all. Unfortunately the weather wasn't good and we sat in an uncomfortable room at the back of the restaurant. The taste of the food wasn't really good and several of us had several dead flies in the fries. We told the waiter this and he just said: "Then they were already in the packaging." That's it. OK. We definitely won't be coming back.

A very cozy, old-school Krefeld restaurant with very tasty food and friendly and quick staff. I've been a guest there for decades and it's always a nice experience. :-) Many thanks to Stefan and his wife.

The outdoor area is impressive, very tasteful with all the plants. The service was friendly, but why do you have to pay €9.50 for half a chicken without a side dish and €20 with fries and a small side salad, sorry, that's a rip-off we won't come back.

Very nicely located with a beer garden and apparently a family-run restaurant. Good cuisine at reasonable prices and very friendly service, although it seemed a bit disorganized. But it was also crowded that day and you have to find a fly in the ointment. An absolute recommendation and also a balanced menu. Shouldn't go unmentioned.

Today I was a guest at Zur Reed with a larger one. We sat at the bowling alley, which was apparently no longer in operation. The room also looked more like a storage room than a guest room. Cardboard boxes, returnable bottles, charcoal, shoes and other items could be found there. The room was bordered on one side by a curtain through which a constant draft blew. Service was initially quick and attentive. The food was generally good, but unfortunately the two insects that were found in two dishes spoiled the actually positive impression. When the service person was asked about the insects, it was explained that the insects must have been in the packaging of the product, which I rather doubt. No attempt at apology or accommodation. All in all, the restaurant unfortunately didn't leave a good impression on me.

Very, very tasty chicken. Fast and very nice service. Thanks to the weather we were able to sit in the beer garden. A real recommendation.

Small fries for €4, large fries for €6.50 We ordered 2 cokes and a pilsner I assumed a small beer 0.3 for 3€ Instead I got a large one for €4.30 In addition, we received a large Coke even though small ones were ordered Additional costs €1.20 Pricing policy that I don't understand When I go to Lammershof in Siebenhäuser to eat chicken, a whole chicken costs 9.50 The spices are not burned A fries for €2.50 And a waffle for dessert 2-3€ with Nutella or chocolate sauce And I'm full afterwards The restaurant is not recommended. Simply greed on the part of the owner to set the prices so high I mean it's just chicken with fries and you can buy it at Lidl or Aldi for €3.99 and this chicken wasn't worth much more than that Sorry, but I won't go there anymore

Two half chickens with fries. Service top. Chicken is simply delicious and no skinny critters. A decent and tasty chicken. Nice beer garden. Absolutely recommended.

The selection is large and the portions are generous. The food meets all expectations of a “home-style” restaurant. The highlight is the freshly prepared fried chicken, which is why you should bring enough time, which is extended during busy times. The efficient and always warm operating couple do everything they can to make it bearable. The atmosphere, especially on the outdoor terrace, invites you to linger. It's just a shame that some guests behave unbearably. Noisy groups, constant smokers and barking dogs can spoil your stay. It's really bad when a well-known, selfish small business owner holds court there in the evening, preferably on Fridays. Something about Lutz, Kotts and ieper with his bagallie, child and dog, create a bad mood with the stench, lots of smoke and loud, pointless conversations.

Super friendly, food was great, due to a lack of staff like everywhere else, the boss and his wife have to do it themselves. We'd love to come back

Had the Turkey Cordeun Blue. It was really tasty. I will definitely treat myself to the chicken.

The inn is a bit old... But nevertheless cozy... The service was super nice and super friendly and accommodating. We ate 2x chicken and 1x currywurst... The chicken was absolutely crispy....the currywurst was super good. We will go there more often... There are so many other dishes that we all want to try.

Hmm, as an alternative to Lame***** if it's too crowded again, that's ok. Chicken is ok, but the prices (large fries €5.40!) are excessive in my opinion. And we were last there about 2 years ago. Probably even more expensive now (I just saw in the pictures, it now costs €6.80)? It's no longer an option for us. Staff was nice, beer garden in summer is also good. The “pub” is rather rustic and in need of renovation.

Urige Gaststätte im alten Stil. Viele Speisen nach Hausmannsart. Gegessen haben wir Cordon Bleu und Hähnchen, sowie einen Salatteller mit Putenstreifen Preis/Leistung passt. Sehr freundliches Personal. Den großen Biergarten holen wir nach, wenn das Wetter wieder mitspielt.

Gleichbleibendes gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis, gemuetlich entspannte Atmosphäre, leckeres Essen und prima gezapftes Bier.

Wir waren jetzt zum wiederholten Mal mit Gästen dort. Alles gut, freundlich und schnell. Preis-Leistung sind prima. Für Kinder gibt es mit dem Spielplatz auch eine tolle Abwechslung.

Nettes Personal und immer freundlich. Essen ist auch gut.und die Preise, ok. Das Ambiente finde ich ganz ok. Jeder hat einen anderen Geschmack und andere Empfindungen.

Wir haben je halbes Hähnchen mit Krautsalat und Pommes gegessen. Das Hähnchen war das Beste, was ich bisher gegessen habe. Der Krautsalat war selbstgemacht. Das hätte ich mir auch bei Pommes gewünscht - aus frischen Kartoffeln, dann wäre es für mich perfekt. Ansonsten, ja...in der Gaststätte ist die Zeit stehen geblieben. Hier müsste dringend renoviert/erneuert werden. Die Bedienung sehr nett und bemüht.

Ich war gestern dort essen, doch war das bestellte Hähnchen mit Pommes, Mayonnaise und Salat, nicht so wie gewünscht! Das Hähnchen war genießbar, doch nicht so frisch schmeckend, wie zu der Zeit der ursprünglichen Besitzer! Die Mayonnaise war furchtbar und ungenießbar! Der Beilagensalat war bis auf die Komponente Weißkohl essbar. Die Betreiber waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam! Die Angestellten, waren teilweise überfordert, aber willig. Der Biergarten ist sehr schön gestaltet und gefällig! Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt, wenngleich die Sitzgelegenheiten recht unbequem sind! Eine Modernisierung wäre angebracht. Chef und Chefin sind mir äußerst sympathisch!

Es war sehr lecker. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Hier ist ein bisschen die Zeit stehen geblieben und das ist gut so. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder, wenn wir wieder in Krefeld sind!!!!!!!

Das Essen war okay, hat aber nicht so ganz unseren Geschmack getroffen. Der zum Teil fast nicht vorhandene Service war sehr freundlich und bemüht aber leider überfordert. Der Biergarten ist leider unserer Meinung nach sehr ungemütlich.

Erstklassige Hähnchen, Pommes und Salat

Hallo zur Vreed Krefeld, wir haben hier ein Schnitzel mit Pommes und einen großen Putensalat sowie 2x kalte Cola im Biergarten gegessen und getrunken. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zügig, leider saßen wir an dem Tag hinter bestimmten Gästen, die lautstark ihre Welt Ausrichtung geteilt haben. Die Dame hinter mir sagte ungefragt, da hinten läse es sich besser sitzen scherzend, nach dem Motto du bist unerwünscht. Enttäuschenderweise habe ich in diesem Moment nichts gesagt, was ich im Nachhinein bereue, die Gaststätte kann sich ihre Kunden bedauerlicherweise nicht selbst aussuchen. Insgesamt alles gut. Nur für Mayonnaise & Ketchup jeweils 1 Euro zu verlangen ist nicht schön. Das sollte bei den Speisen kalkuliert sein.

Leckes Essen und Bedienung sehr nett...

Wir waren mit dem Fahrrad auf der Durchreise und haben nur kurz auf ein Getränk angehalten. Super Service, auch der Hund bekam sofort ein Leckerli. Kommen zum Essen und Verweilen wieder!! LG

Kurzes Statement, Essen schmeckt sehr lecker, aber bitte macht was an der Optik vom Raum. Toiletten renovierungsbedürftig. Sehr altmodisch eingerichtet. Zieht die Rollläden komplett hoch, dass haben wir gemacht,damit Licht reinkommt. Repariert doch bitte das Lüftungsloch hinten in der oberen Ecke. (Klebeband) Bitte macht den Eingangsvorhang neu, dass Ding ist so abgerockt, der läuft doch schon von alleine auf Seite. Personen ist aber sehr freundlich.

Ich bin immer sehr gern dort. Das Essen ist immer lecker, alle sind immer super freundlich und lieb. Es ist einfach nur schön dort und auch im Sommer im Biergarten zu sitzen. Es ist immer eine super Freude. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder

Eine Urige Gaststätte. Hier ist die Zeit iwie stehen geblieben. Der Services ist sehr freundlich und schnell. Der Salat war Klasse, hatte auch noch den Hausgemachten Kartoffelsalat probiert. Wie bei Oma 🙂 super lecker und nur zu empfehlen. Wir wählten Schnitzel Gerichte. Die Pommes super gewürzt, das Schnitzel war lecker und auch nicht zu klein und dazu gab es Jägersoße und das Forstmeister Art. Wir wurden Satt und geschmeckt hat es auch. Wir kommen aufjedenfall wieder. Müssen ja noch das legendäre Hähnchen probieren 😉.
