Zur Schranke in Gera

We took advantage of the gastronomic offerings at the Lummerschen Backhaus in the Spiegelzelt and were very disappointed. The beer was priced as 0.5 liters on the menu. We received 0.4 l for the same price. The sandwiches on offer were nothing like what was pictured on the menu. These were significantly smaller and of inferior quality. Two sandwich slices instead of 4...for the price of €16.00. I also mentioned this when operating it because I assumed there would be 4 slices as in the picture. I was informed that this is the only way they exist. Even as a snack, this price is completely excessive considering the quality delivered. The offering in the 2023 Spiegeltent season was significantly better in quality. It's a shame, you can't keep guests and win them like that.

Nice, rustic restaurant with excellent food, we've been here several times and it's always been great! Traditional business through generations with the best, fresh and, above all, homemade dishes, something for everyone! Excellent value for money, we'll be back...

So we thought we would order something for dinner but never again. My son's pizza was so rich with cheese that I could have given him a block of Gauda. My friend's vegetarian kebab consisted of onions and my kebab tore my intestines to pieces so much that I was cured of kebab for the first time.
