Today we had a really delicious meal with family and friends. The food was delicious and plentiful. Excellent cuisine and of course great service.

Food was once again very tasty. Service and ambience perfect as always. I'm already looking forward to next time. Highly recommended!!!

First of all, we regret my wife and I, that this wonderful restaurant, which I feel is upscale, is hidden away at the back of the cultural center. We wouldn't have even noticed if we had the recommendation Mr. Thomas, our guesthouse host at the Bergstube, would have received it. We sat down at a table outside and the service immediately came with the very extensive menu with reasonable prices. Drinks were served promptly. Our chosen dishes were served within a reasonable time. The meals were a delight. The way I look at this menu, there is something for every taste, from vegans to meat lovers. “To feast” live up to his name. We can only say good things about the atmosphere, staff and food. For us ten out of five stars.

Five of us were there for dinner on August 23rd, 2024. We had a table outside as the weather was perfect for it. Parasols were there so you weren't exposed to the sun. Drinks were taken quickly and arrived in less than 10 minutes. The food took a little longer but was still there after about 30 minutes. Relatively quickly, we were able to eat at the table at the same time and the food was still hot. The menu has a nice selection of dishes and even some vegan options. The plates were full so we could take something home with us. Prices were okay and the quality of the food and service were more than adequate. We would love to come back again. The picture shows the vegan black bean burger with sweet potatoes and homemade burger sauce. An absolute culinary poem.

A culinary delight in a great ambience. The food is beautifully presented on the plate, is super tasty and very plentiful. The staff was friendly and ensured that drinks were replenished quickly. Really the only drawback was the waiting time, which at just under 2 hours from ordering to eating wasn't really great. But probably due to a lack of staff in the kitchen. If you like to eat well and eat well, this is definitely a very good address and highly recommended. But you should bring some time and understanding.

Needs improvement! We were there for dinner as a family of 7 people (4 adults, 1 child and 2 pensioners). Somehow everything didn't work properly. Despite being told that you only wanted to eat two small starters, both dishes came at the same time...then you sit in front of two plates. I left the sweet potato wedges with chili cheese dip. The dip was as thin as soup and immediately ran off the potatoes and made a mess. The two "Tom's Farmer Schnitzel" we ordered were very thin but so extremely fatty that most of both plates went back and instead of tonic they also brought gin and tonic (bad if you are the driver and instead of tonic you get a cocktail on the bill). has). For a total price of €206, I would have expected more. All in all, we probably won't come back.

Very good food at reasonable prices. Everything tasted very good. The beef sandwich was great.

We were a large group of around 30 guests. The food was delicious. One service person was not enough for just 30 guests. Sometimes you had to wait until you could order something and sat in front of an empty glass for a long time. We had a menu with a starter, salad, 5 main courses and a dessert. Everyone should tick what they want to eat. Actually, you choose one dish from 5 main courses and the rest comes as it says on the menu. Unfortunately I thought wrong. Only when we asked, when others were already eating the salad, were we told that everyone should tick what they would like to eat. I don't understand it either, for me a menu card is a card with the order of the food you get written on it. Very disappointing. A plus point for the playroom.👍

Were there yesterday. Great, I actually eat for 3 but the beef ribs really got me. Decent portions at reasonable prices and also from regional cultivation and breeding... It wasn't our last visit. The service is courteous and the chef knows what he is doing to please the guests and their stomachs.

Trüffelsuppe als betitelte Karoffelsuppe serviert. Nach Rücksprache war es dann eine Kartoffeltrüffelsuppe. Die Schnitzel gerade mal 1 mm bis max. 2mm dick. Die Rechnung wurde mit 71,00 Euro gereicht und ausgesprochen obwohl 61,00 Euro darauf standen. Dies war der zweite Besuch. Beim ersten Besuch sind wir nach 2,5 Stunden ohne Essen gegangen mit der Erklärung: " Der Koch schafft es nicht." Ein anderes Restaurant hatte sich auf uns gefreut.

We were surprised to find such a gem of a restaurant on our drive home from Hainich NP! When it came to the selection of meat and vegan dishes, we could hardly decide. For the huge portions, the prices were completely reasonable, even cheap. The passion with which this restaurant is run was evident not least in the fun children's menu and the fact that there is a children's playroom. This makes it even more enjoyable for families and everyone else. You could enjoy a quiet atmosphere here. We would be happy to come back if the opportunity arises again.

We felt very comfortable, great atmosphere, also for our little daughter! Very tasty (also vegan!) food with large portions. Happy to come back!

Ich kann die Bewertung von meinem Vorredner in keinster Weise nachvollziehen. In welchem Restaurant er auch immer war, es wird wahrscheinlich nicht die "Schlemmerei" gewesen sein. Leider liest sich diese Bewertung ähnlich der des "Mühlgraben" also erlaube ich mir zu sagen, dass dies von Personen verfasst wurde, die weder persönlich vor Ort waren noch subjektiv berichten können. Kurz und knapp, qualitativ hochwertiges Essen im super Ambiente. Es gibt sicher immer Dinge die verbessert werden können aber hier bewegen wir uns schon auf einen sehr hohem Niveau. Macht weiter so wir kommen gern wieder.

We celebrated our wedding here last weekend and were completely satisfied. The entire ambience, the decoration, the service was all very nice. The food was absolutely delicious and was praised by all our guests. We can only recommend you. A big thank you to the entire Schlemmerei team.

We were a large group (about 50 people). The service was busy, but always friendly and funny. Of course there were waiting times, but we tried to react as quickly as possible. Everyone was very happy with the food.

Okay, als Laie mit durchschnittlichem Anspruch würde ich womöglich auch zufrieden sein. Wenn mir fast ausschließlich Convenience-Produkte vorgesetzt werden, würde ich auf Nachfrage schon eine ehrliche Antwort erhoffen. Leider war das nicht der Fall. Auch wenn die Tricks nicht gegen das Gesetzt verstoßen, fühlte ich mich betrogen und würde niemals wieder dieses Lokal betreten. Auch wenn die Aufmachung gut ist und optisch einladend wirkt. Darum bewerte ich es nur als mangelhaft.

I saw the "Wolfbarsch - Nordic Flair" on the Menu and decided to try this. After many trips to Norway, I was expecting a nicely presented piece of Wolfbarsch or sea bream. I was very disappointed. Also ordered a small green salad with the fish. Both arrived on the table at the same time. I was expecting the salad first. Unfortunately, the salad was just a mix of cabbage. And the pitifully small piece of fish was presented on a massive bowl of ribbon pasta mix with zucchini and drowned in a liter of tomato paste. The texture of the fish suggested that it arrived recently from the freezer but the whole plate was overwhelmed by the tomato sauce. NOT what I would consider Nordic by any means.

Really very good food, 5 stars for the kitchen. Unfortunately only 1 star for the service. 30 minutes wait for drinks 1h20min wait for food. In a total of 3 hours we were only able to place two drink orders because the waiters were so few and preferred to stay behind the counter. The plates weren't cleared away more than an hour after the meal. It's a shame that the service doesn't match what the kitchen has to offer, we would have liked to have eaten even more.

Very good food but poor service on this day. Very long wait for food. It took almost 1.5 hours from ordering to the main course. Overall, we only ordered drinks once when the food was brought...no one came in between. Even eye contact was avoided. Chewing gum, not clearing away empty glasses - we weren't even asked if everything was okay, if there was anything else, etc. It's really a shame because the ambience and the food were really wonderful. Again, big praise to the chef, it really tasted great (vegan goat cheese, salad, pumpkin chili soup and the burger). Only the cheddar on the tornado potato was a bit much. The selection of drinks was also very good. There is a large and very good selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes. We may visit the feast again in the hope that I can then adjust my rating.

Great! ...No more words are needed. Friendly, courteous staff, uniquely tasty food, great drinks menu. If you don't find anything that appeals to you, it's your own fault. Price performance optimal. We will definitely be happy to come back and eat again often. We're looking forward to!

It's a shame, we wanted to go to Schlemmerei today because we're always super satisfied there. I have to say that I don't rate the restaurant negatively, but rather the waiter's reaction. I asked nicely if there was another table for two people (there were still two free). Then I got a brisk and annoyed answer that they couldn't manage it with staff. I said that we just wanted to have a drink (which certainly wouldn't have taken that much time) and then the waiter said it wasn't possible - they don't have any staff - and left me or us standing. Well, I understand that and I know what things are like in the catering industry at the moment. But you can also communicate it differently. Well, we went somewhere else and had a lovely evening. Feasting? Not again.

Friendly and quick service, the food wasn't that convincing...

Price-performance is absolutely OK. - The portions are just a bit too big. The chef could easily leave out 25% of the quantity, but the guests will still be full - except for the "main thing a lot" group. The service is reserved and friendly - and apparently consists largely of temporary workers/students (hence 5 stars for the service) - they do it really well for their age. The acoustics and the ambience could be improved - it has more of an event location and not necessarily a restaurant feel.

We were here for the second time just before New Year's Eve to let ourselves be pampered like the year before. The restaurant was more than well attended. The service was at our table relatively quickly to take the drink order. After this was brought, we ordered our meals for 4 people. And now there was a very long wait, a really long wait for the food. After all, at least there was a passing, what madness. After a whopping wait of more than 1.5 hours, the food we ordered finally arrived. 5 minutes more and we would have left! It was very tasty, as before, but I can't have guests for 1.5 hours. wait, I have to have more staff in the kitchen. And we weren't the only ones who had to wait a long time that evening. Some guests had their food packed up and left. Even though the restaurant has an excellent menu, the kitchen and the staff were slightly overwhelmed that day. It doesn't help if you then apologize for the long wait. Ultimately, that's a big minus point.

I've been living in Bad Langensalza for a short time and since I had dinner here I know that I don't want to eat anywhere else in Bad Langensalza! The restaurant is amazing! Above all, I am thrilled with the selection and quality of the vegan offering! The ambience is upscale, the service is excellent. The location is of course unbeatable (in the culture and congress center) with parking spaces directly behind the building.

Immer für einen netten Abend in freundlicher Gesellschaft zu haben. Super leckeres Essen und schönes Ambiente.

Es war ein geschmackliches Feuerwerk! Sehr zu empfehlen sind auch die Auswahl an erlesenen Weinen und bestem Gin! Service hervorragend!

Silvester in der Schlemmerei..... schönes Ambiente, 4 Gang Menü... Sehr lecker. Für mich waren die Portionen auch ausreichend, mein Mann hatte noch Hunger. Musikalische Unterhaltung war gut, der DJ ging auch auf Musikwünsche ein. Schönes, kleines Feuerwerk.... Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und flink. Was absolut verbesserungswürdig ist: keinerlei Knabbereien oder Snacks. Kein Mitternachtssnack. Unsere Männer hatten noch Hunger und haben mehrfach nachgefragt. Irgendwas sollte doch in einem Restaurant immer noch möglich sein. Musik ging um 2 Uhr aus. Feierabend.... Das kann bei einer normalen Veranstaltung durchaus völlig in Ordnung sein. Aber doch nicht zu Silvester. Sehr schade.

Super Restaurant! Essen war super, man ist auf Wünsche eingegangen und es hat gechmeckt. Großer Pöuspunkt für Familien mit Kindern, es gibt einen extra Spielezimmer. Unsere Jungs haben zuerst ihre Pancakes gegessen sind dann spielen gegangen und Mama und Papa hatten Zeit und Ruhe ihr Essen zu genießen. Dank großem Parkplatz vor der Tür ist ein pünktlich kommen garantiert. Das Restaurant ist ebenfalls Behindertengerecht und die Toilette auf selber ebene.

Es ist jedes Mal aufs Neue ein Gedicht bei dir ! Mega tolles Essen klasse und nettes Personal ! Immer wieder gerne ! Mach weiter so du hast es drauf 👌🏻👍🏻

Wir haben 2 Stunden auf das Essen gewartet. Geschmeckt hat es aber die Wartezeit war zu lang.

Für 12 Personen war reserviert, obwohl ein Tisch am Rande gewünscht war, wurde der Tisch auf dem Präsentierteller zur Verfügung gestellt. Vorspeisen waren sehr gut, hierfür den ersten Stern, ein Servicemitarbeiter war ebenfalls engagiert, hierfür den zweiten stern. Danach ging es bergab. Weitere Service Mitarbeitinnen ignorierten uns und waren wenig kommunikativ, was das bestellen oder mitteilen von Anliegen schwierig macht. Hauptspeise nach über 90 Minuten nicht richtig zubereitet, sehr schlechte Qualität und geschmacklich durch die Bank ein Reinfall. Aufgrund des Ambiente und des Preisniveau wurde hier wenigstens Mittelmaß erwartet, jedoch wurden wir enttäuscht und müssen sagen, nie wieder zur Schlemmerei.

Das Essen ist absolut Weltklasse! Es gibt eine tolle Auswahl, egal ob vegan, vegetarisch oder für Fleischliebhaber; das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich. Für mich definitiv das beste Restaurant in LSZ und Umgebung. Ganz klare Empfehlung, daher 10 von 5 Sternen! :)

Besser kann man in Bad Langensalza eigentlich nicht essen gehen. Wir hatten einen super schönen Abend in der Schlemmerei. Die Tische sind wunderschön und mit Liebe zum Detail hergerichtet. Die Karte lässt keine Wünsche offen, es gibt auch eine Kinderkarte, vegane Gerichte und eine riesige Auswahl an Cocktails. Das Essen war einfach gut und hätte nicht besser sein können! Einen großes Lob geht auch an die Mitarbeiter, alle waren immer total freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich kann die Schlemmerei absolut empfehlen, wir kommen auf jeden Fall bald wieder!

Schlemmen kann man hier wirklich sehr gut. Das Essen 🌯 ist hier sehr gut 🤗. Man leckt sich alle fünf Finger danach ab. Ein riesiges Lob an den Küchenchef und dessen Team. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Leider und das tut mir wirklich Leid, kann der Service da nicht mithalten. Lange Wartezeiten bis man bedient wird. Selbst die Getränke dauerten bis zu 25 Minuten. Hier ist viel zu wenig Personal für zu viele Leute und dieses doch recht große Restaurant. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Tolles Ambiente und mega leckeres Essen! Ich konnte mich gar nicht entscheiden. Tolle Cocktails und Weinkarte. Im Service war ein gelernter Mitarbeiter (Chef?) und 2 ungelernte, das merkte man stark. Wir werden wieder kommen.

Die Speisekarte lässt keine Wünsche übrig und die Qualität des Essens ist top. Für die Bedienung muss ich leider Punkte abziehen. Durch sprachliche Schwierigkeiten wurden Bestellungen vertauscht, doppelt bestellt und zum Abschluss vergessen. Da ist Schulungspotential.
