Wow! We were just there for dinner and only got one of the reserved tables because another family was quick to book. The atmosphere was very pleasant and cozy, a bit cramped, but that meant there was only room for a few guests. The staff seemed genuine without any forced politeness, which I appreciate. The value for money was excellent. I was almost full from my amuse-bouche—a small salad—and the chanterelle soup. The main course, chanterelles with pan-fried salmon and potatoes, was very good. A huge slice of tiramisu was also worth the price... As a parting gift, we were offered a complimentary schnapps and a lollipop for the kids. I'd love to come back! 5 stars +

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner. The service was absolutely excellent and warm. After a delicious main course, I really enjoyed the homemade tiramisu. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Ordering was a bit bumpy, but then it went smoothly. The service was very friendly and attentive. The chanterelle soup was very hearty and delicious. The side salad was simple but also good. The chanterelle schnitzel with fried potatoes was perfectly fine. The other plate of steaks and meat was a bit overcooked but good. I'd gladly order again.

There were three of us, and we all ordered schnitzel with side dishes. The food was delicious and the portions were really generous. And what was impressive was the reasonable prices. Very, very good value for money. We would definitely come back.

The staff strives to fulfill requests and orders as best as possible. Occasional mistakes can happen, but you're treated like a guest, and any mistakes promptly receive an apology and a "greeting" from the manager (in our case, an Aperol Spritz). Beautiful location, plenty of outdoor seating. We'll be happy to return.

The food is good there, and the location is perfect. What I didn't like so much was that the schnitzel was too greasy, but otherwise everything was great.

Very good steaks, both cooked to perfection. One medium rare and one medium. We'd love to come back.

There's only one thing to say: "highly recommended!" Incredibly delicious food, also prepared super quickly. Beautifully presented and prepared with lots of love. The super friendly service was particularly noteworthy! We felt very comfortable and would love to come back. To top it all off, we were treated to two glasses of sparkling wine on the house ❤️

This is our fourth time here and we're trying our way through the schnitzel menu. So far, everything has tasted good, and the portions are truly enormous. The staff is a bit quirky at times 😅 but friendly, and the food is served quickly. Love their bruschetta! I recommend making a reservation.

Too bad, we were a bit disappointed. The service was friendly, but the schnitzel was very bland, with little to no seasoning. The gypsy schnitzel letcho with its mushroom flavor and seasoned meat was run-of-the-mill, but at least the kids got a scoop of ice cream on the house.

Unfortunately, the schnitzel was a greasy deep-fried schnitzel. The fried potatoes were mediocre. The side salad was very small. The waiters were very distant and looked gloomy. A real shame.

We made a quick stop in Bad Langensalza while passing through. We wanted to check out the town. Since it was already almost 2 p.m., we ate here. Unfortunately, all the outdoor seating (despite the perfect weather) was taken, but there was still plenty of room inside. We asked if the lunch menu was still available, and they confirmed it. We had schnitzel and zander. Each came with a soup starter and ice cream for dessert. The whole thing cost €13.90 each. We finished off with a cup of coffee with the ice cream, and we were satisfied. The service was attentive, and everything went quite quickly.

Received a great menu for Monday lunch. Garlic soup with fresh baguette, a choice of roast pork or penne arrabbitta with mozzarella, and two scoops of ice cream with strawberry sauce for dessert. All under 15 euros. Lovely beer garden.

There are five stars here. Unfortunately, nothing more is possible. When we were passing through without a reservation and with a dog, we felt welcome. Great food and great hospitality. Clear recommendation.

Here you get full and it tastes good. The schnitzels are available in different versions and their size is a little larger than usual, 200 grams. Not only are the schnitzels good, the steaks at 300 grams are not small either. At prices that you only get half as much in other restaurants.

Very nice, small restaurant in the old town center. The history of the house reflects its own flair. All dishes are beautifully prepared and delicious. Kudos to the kitchen and service. We say thank you and would like to come back.

We were in Bad Langensalza for a little trip. We were hungry and really wanted to eat a schnitzel or steak. My brother is really very picky and critical. I told him to order a steak. Which in retrospect turned out to be the best decision. He really recommends and highly recommends it. He would have loved to order another one straight away. I had a schnitzel and was also very impressed. Large portions and the fries were also delicious. Side salad a bit small - but that's not so dramatic. Everyone had an appetizer. Mushroom caps gratinated with cheese and tomato sauce and bruschetta. Both very, very tasty.

Large portions, but with compromises During my stay in Bad Langensalza, based on recommendations, I visited the Bonifacius Stübchen, which is known for its large portions of schnitzel. The restaurant is relatively small, and unfortunately I noticed a strong smell of cooking as soon as I entered, which also found its way into my clothes. The service was polite but distant. Unfortunately no friendly smile... The schnitzel with French fries we ordered was actually very large. However, the side salad was very small, the schnitzel was dry and the fries were quite greasy. Ketchup and mayonnaise had to be ordered separately, which was at no extra charge, but was only served in small sachets - environmentally friendly. It was also difficult to get the attention of the staff as they were not very attentive.​ The ambience and furnishings of the restaurant were okay, but overall I can't fully recommend the Bonifacius Stübchen.​

Original small restaurant in historic rooms. But the food was disappointing. Ordered Schnitzel Hawaii. Another layer of cream sauce with herbs was spread over the pineapple gratinated with cheese. Therefore the breading was not crispy, but soggy. So you couldn't taste any of the topping. When I subtly pointed this out, I was just looked at with punishment and not a single word was said. Sorry, that's not customer friendly, let alone professional.

So the premises aren't great and the store should look for something else with more ambience. The rooms are also far too small and should be significantly larger. Because it's not always summer that you can sit comfortably outside. Everything else is really very good food taste fresh quality condition no complaints. That's why I'm convinced that with a larger space you get more customers, which also means more sales. So visit the restaurant yourself and get a picture of everything 😉

We have always enjoyed eating here. But yesterday the food was not of the usual quality. Schnitzel tasted like frozen schnitzel. They should have kept the small card to maintain the quality.

Unfortunately, I wasn't really happy with my visit. The vegetarian schnitzel I ordered looked and tasted very cheap. In addition, the service was anything but friendly. She constantly made comments about me not eating meat and was visibly annoyed when I asked for fried potatoes without bacon. Unfortunately, that really spoiled the whole experience. Too bad!

Good home cooking at good prices.

There were four of us in the restaurant. And due to the lack of space outside, we sat inside. So far it wasn't bad at all, it just seemed like it was a corner that wasn't that heavily frequented by the service. After the cards found their way to the table we all found something to eat. After a short wait, the food arrived and we really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the starter salad was missing from 4/4 dishes. Tolerable due to the portion size. But the next table got the salad. Well, the food is filling and good and we were offered a little nightcap. That doesn't happen that often anymore. The prices are quite reasonable for quality and quantity. The style in the restaurant is home-style.

Ich habe hier folgendes gegessen: Schnitzel mit Bartkartoffeln und Salat, ich muss sagen das ich selten bessere Bratkartoffeln gegessen habe. In dem Restaurant bekommt man aber auch mediterrane Gerichte und Steaks. Der Service ist zügig und, wie man das erwarten darf, freundlich. Die Preise sind, für eine Kurstadt angemessen. Hier würde ich gerne wieder zu Gast sein.

Unfortunately there is no comparison to the previous owner. Taking over a menu from the previous owner is one thing, having a different chef in the kitchen is another. The best part was sitting outside in the old town of Bad Langensalza.

Wir waren zu dritt dort, die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und vorausschauend, brachte uns zum Wein , Wasser und Saft immer unaufgefordert Eiswürfel mit- es war am Abend noch sehr heiß. Wir hatten sehr gut zubereitete Pfifferlingsgerichte,leckere Eisbecher hinterher und haben gegenüber der Kirche schön gesessen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war völlig in Ordnung, wir haben uns wohlgefühlt und kommen gern wieder!
