Food was cold and the beer was stale.

The food is fresh, tasty. I recommend 100%. We will repeat.

Such a gem, all the food was very tasty, but the Ukrainian borsch was unbelievable. I didn’t think beetroot could taste this good. Hopefully I can recreate the recipe back home. The hot chocolate also tastes exactly like the one my mum makes.

Only recommended! We ate here after a short hike and, in addition to the good food and beer, we were welcomed and served in a very friendly manner. Gladly again!

Cleanliness is not that important, the tables are not clean enough. Every time the guest reads the table, the table should be cleaned, including the tablecloth if it is dirty, that wasn't the case. When we sat down at a table, we also had bottles of oil and vinegar at the table dirty, very unsavory stuff like that at the table The service still has to learn what it means to say thank you when you leave a tip. That wasn't the case on Sunday August 25th, 2024. A tip was charged and not wing and I didn't even hear a thank you. I think it's a shame

An absolute highlight in Königswinter! The restaurant “Zur Quelle” at Drachenfels is a real insider tip! I was amazed by the warm hospitality and the charming ambience. The view of the Drachenfels and the surrounding nature is simply breathtaking - perfect for a break from everyday life. The food was excellent: fresh, tasty and prepared with great attention to detail. The selection of regional wines perfectly rounds off the culinary experience. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. As a guest you really feel welcome and well looked after here. The price-performance ratio is also good – overall, a thoroughly successful visit! I can only warmly recommend the restaurant “Zur Quelle” and will definitely stop by again on my next visit to Königswinter!

If you love the largest possible portions without attaching importance to anything else, this source is just right for you. We took a seat at a table outside. Unfortunately, the table had been cleared, but the tablecloth was still dirty from previous guests. There was no Polish beer on the menu... There were a lot of pierogi (1x Russian style, 1x with meat filling), but they were slapped onto long plates listlessly and without any decoration. No comparison to the pictures here on Google. And taste is debatable... Since the waitress was quite clueless about the dishes on offer when ordering and seemed overwhelmed, we wish you good luck visiting this 'Polish' restaurant. Where all the positive reviews come from is really a mystery to us...

Today we had a family celebration with 21 people. The food and service were very good. In my opinion, convenience foods were not used when preparing the dishes. The offer offers something for everyone. What should be emphasized is the very good price-performance ratio, which is surprising these days. I can only recommend the restaurant. @Jens Kierdorf, you probably had to wait because of our family celebration and the resulting temporary capacity of the kitchen. Give the restaurant a second chance, it's worth it!

If you have a lot of time you can go there. Waited over an hour. Unfortunately we can't rate the food because we left again.

We visited the restaurant on April 28, 2024 with a hiking group after pre-booking a table. We were warmly welcomed and the table was nicely set. We were almost the first guests. Only one other table was occupied, these guests had already had their food. We had to wait quite a long time before we could place our order, which dampened the mood a bit. After a day's hike, we would have at least wanted to place our drink order a little quicker. After quite a long wait to order, we had to wait over an hour for our food, even though none of us had any special requests and the majority ordered the pierogi offered on the menu. When a fellow hiker asked when our food would arrive, she was asked if we were looking for a fight. The food, which was served after an actually unreasonable wait, was really tasty. The visit leaves a good and a bad memory. In the kitchen we probably worked according to the principle: first in last out, as all guests who came after us (ultimately all tables were occupied) were served and received their food. Every member of the hiking group can confirm this.

We can highly recommend the beetroot soup as a starter. The cabbage rolls are also recommended. But by far the best choice, especially in terms of value for money, was the schnitzel. For the price it is by far the best schnitzel in recent years. The service was friendly but sometimes a bit slow. After a nice hike, we recommend a visit to “Zur Quelle”.

I was there on March 8th and it was very nice! There was a rose for each woman, dessert and wine on the house. The food was very tasty, I had a duck leg with Silesian dumplings and a beetroot salad (I just didn't particularly like the dumplings, I think they were frozen because they didn't have the consistency I usually have), my friend had chicken Liver and that was definitely one of the tastiest I've ever eaten, positions GREAT, great music, super nice waiter who was always ready to help etc. I will definitely come back!

This place deserves more than 5 stars. The staff is very kind and attentive. They care about customers and are willing to help. Delicious Polish food, portions are great too. I can recommend flaczki ( Polish tripe soup) and definitely try kotlet schabowy. We were also treated with a dessert and coffee. Thank you!

A clean test room and the toilets are clean and the staff is always friendly. The food is tasty. One thing you should be clear about is that there is Polish cuisine there and other countries.......... If you like this, you will get your money's worth. The outdoor terrace, which is overgrown with vines, is also beautiful. There are plenty of parking spaces available.

Very nice service, quick order fulfillment. Initially, I tried broth, cabbage rolls, roulade and apple pie. Everything was delicious, I took the food to go, but the taste I experienced allowed me to return for a moment to my family home in Poland. The portions are quite large and affordable. I highly recommend it. I'm from the Hamburg area, but I will remember this place and will definitely visit this restaurant again when I'm passing through!!

Gestern mit meiner lieben Begleiterin dort Essen gewesen. Wir durften uns die Plätze im Restaurant frei aussuchen. Die Räumlichkeiten sind hell und freundlich gestaltet. Bestellungen wurden schnell aufgenommen und Getränke schnell gebracht.Die Musik war anfangs ein wenig zu laut aber wir konnten uns unterhalten. Das Essen hat uns beiden sehr geschmeckt! Zum Schluss gab es noch einen süßen Likör aufs Haus. Würde nochmal dort Essen gehen wollen,wenn es sich ergibt! Lediglich an der obersten Stufe zu den Toiletten sollte man etwas aufpassen.. die Fliesen von Boden und Stufen sind gleich gefliest und man muss darauf achten nicht daneben zu treten. Davor, im Weg ,steht leider ein Kinderstuhl. Aber den könnte man ja vielleicht woanders hinstellen. Alles in allem war es ein sehr schöner Abend mit gutem Essen und Ambiente.

Jedzenie bardzo dobre. Sznycel pierogi obłędne. Obsługa i Szef bardzo mili. Bardzo polecam!

Restaurant très sympathique avec une jolie terrasse. Nous ne sommes venu que pour un café et un gâteau, mais nous avons eu droit à des fraises gratuites et le service était très agréable et souriant. 😊 Je recommande.

Ein sehr nettes kleines familiengeführtes Restaurant, mit freundlichem Personal. Wir haben Kaffee und Kuchen gehabt und der Apfelstrudel war sehr lecker. Es gab sogar einen kleinen Teller Erdbeeren zum probieren, als Aufmerksamkeit des Hauses. Mit ruhiger Musik war die Stimmung im überdachten Außenbereich sehr angenehm.

W dniu dzisiejszym z czwórką znajomych byliśmy na obiedzie w tej restauracji. Na początku otrzymaliśmy czekadełko w postaci pysznego pasztetu, chleba i ogórków kiszonych. W przeciągu 20-25 minut od złożenia przez nas zamówienia, otrzymaliśmy wszystkie dania. Estetyka podanych potraw zachęcała do konsumpcji. Po spróbowaniu dań nie zawiedliśmy się, wszystko było pyszne!!! Farsz w pierogach - wyśmienity, dobrze doprawiony. Sznycle zamówione przez znajomych były tak dobre, że puste talerze mówią same za siebie. Jesteśmy przeszczęśliwi, ze trafiliśmy na tak dobrą restaurację, z której wyszliśmy z uśmiechem na twarzy i pełnymi żołądkami. Z czystym sumieniem polecamy i na pewno będziemy wracać!

Byliśmy z całą rodziną i znajomymi na obiedzie na który czekaliśmy Ok. 1.5 godziny , po tak długim czasie oczekiwania wkoncu dostaliśmy jedzienie do stołu...wszystko wyglądało smacznie lecz było nie dopieczone ...szczególnie pierś z kurczaka z serem i (pieczarkami )(których wogole nie bylo)ilość ludI nie była zbyt imponująca żeby podać surowa pierś z kurczaka dodam tylko ze klient który był za nami zrezygnował po godzinie z zamówienia (napoje otrzymał gratis)wyszedl ... myślę że czas pomyśleć o nowym składzie na kuchni bo kelnerzy starają się jak mogą.jestescie na dobrej drodze Jednak coś tam nie gra🙃

Vor unserem Besuch auf dem Drachenfels sind wir hier eingekehrt. Wir waren positiv überrascht vom tollen Ambiente und der schönen überdachten Terrasse. Die polnischen Gerichte waren sehr lecker und auch hübsch angerichtet. Definitv eine Empfehlung wert!

Eine wirklich super Alternative zu der Standardkost, die es sonst immer gibt. Gerade die polnischen Gerichte sind vorzüglich. Bedienung war sehr zuvorkommend und auch auf die Extrawünsche für die Kinder würde ganz toll eingegangen.

Nett eingerichtetes Lokal. Service freundlich und gut. Gute Auswahl an Gerichten und Getränken. Essen war gut, reichlich und den Preis wert. Nachspeisen (Apfelkuchen und Pfannkuchen) sehr lecker und liebevoll angerichtet. 1 Punkt Abzug für lauwarmen Espresso und lauwarme Suppe. Trotzdem empfehlenwert!

Waren heute zum Abendessen da. Vorspeise rote Beete Suppe sehr sehr lecker! Hauptspeise Schnitzel mit Champion sauce und Bratkartoffeln,das beste schnitzel das ich seit langer Zeit gegessen habe! Den Nachtisch musste ich leider auslassen da ich pappsatt war(Beim nächsten mal) Wir gehen auf jeden Fall wieder hin,nur zu empfehlen!! Dziekuje bardzo für das tolle und reichhaltige Essen und die nette Bedienung!

Es ist unheimlich schwierig geworden in Königswinter ein ordentlicher Schnitzel von gutem Umfang, guter Qualität und gut zubereitet zu bekommen. Neben das ein wirklich freundlicher Bedienung noch weil das muss aber die Dame macht das von sich selbst. Neben das stimmt der Preis. Komme gerne zurück bis das nächste Mal.
