We recently spent a girls' night at "Zur Quelle." A super nice and friendly lady looked after us the entire evening. The food was simply outstanding: incredibly delicious, beautifully presented, and unbeatable in taste – it brought back childhood memories 😊 We'll definitely be visiting the restaurant many more times ☀️

We had a lovely evening here. For starters, we had bread with lard and pickles. For main courses, we had trout with grilled vegetables and fries, the grill platter, two chicken livers, and a meat-filled pierogi to share. To drink, we had two Tymbark Apple-Mint, one Tymbark Apple-Cherry, and one Oranżada. The food was consistently excellent, the meat and fish incredibly tender. To finish, we had the best cappuccino I've ever had; it smelled wonderful even as it was brought to our table. The service was very friendly, and the food arrived quickly. The ambiance was also lovely; we sat outside under the beautiful canopy of leaves. Unfortunately, there were a lot of wasps and flies, but that's common everywhere in the summer. At around €30 per person, the prices were more than reasonable.

The owner served us meat pierogi 🥟 and an XL schnitzel from the Polish repertoire. They also served appetizers: the specialty kartacze, filled potato dumplings, was delicious. Dear schnitzel fans, look forward to the huge schnitzel and the fried potatoes hidden underneath, as well as the refreshing 🥗salad. The photos speak for themselves. The portions are very generous and tasty. The spacious rooms are inviting, and the cozy, overgrown 🍇terrace is perfect for a lovely 🌅summer evening. When we asked for a small dessert, we were served a fantastic 🥮apple pie and 🧁meringue. We'd love to come back, an insider tip.⭐️Thank you.

The food was excellent, like the XXL schnitzel with fried potatoes. These could have been a bit thicker and juicier for my taste. The service was a bit slow when we were there, but it was 34 degrees Celsius, so it was perfectly fine.

I had just been there, actually just wanting to have a coffee on the lovely terrace, but I was welcomed like a true guest of honor. Thanks to the great atmosphere and delicious smells, I decided to try a seasonal dish. I highly recommend everything; I definitely recommend you try the strawberry pierogi while they're still available. I'd be happy to come back 👑

The food and drinks were all very solid; we enjoyed it. Overall, it was very nice here, but the seating was very close together, and there's no clearing of the table when people are still eating. To achieve 5 stars, the dishes lack a certain amount of sensitivity and a bit more quality and presentation.

Roulade with gravy, red cabbage and Silesian dumplings. Pierogi meat and sauerkraut, stuffing, onions and bacon on top. Fried trout with homemade fries and grilled vegetables. Everything was very tasty and prepared very tasty. Pierogi, roulades and the fries were homemade. You could taste it 😄 accurate and friendly service. Thank you. I was there 3 times. And each time the food got worse. On April 16th, 2024 the food was not recommended: onions for pierogis, pure must, soggy coleslaw without any taste, beef roulade overcooked, filling, indefinable, not tasty. My recommendation is to try what you prepare. !!!

The four of us ate there for the first time this evening. Each of us ordered something different. We were all very satisfied. The restaurant is comfortably furnished. The tables are lovingly set with fresh flowers. There is a large selection of dishes so that everyone can find what they are looking for. The hearty Polish home cooking is served on beautiful dishes. As is well known, the eye also eats. The price-performance ratio is right here. The still warm Polish cheesecake with raspberry sauce was a delicious end to a lovely evening. We'll definitely be back. It is also practical that there is parking right next to the house.

Discovered the restaurant "Zur Quelle Drachenfels" by chance: very attentive and friendly service, homemade dumplings, soft meat (goulash and beef cheeks) and surprisingly good beetroot salad - if you are looking for down-to-earth home cooking, this is the place for you. There are also typical Polish dishes. Good value for money and clean. Recommended!

Absolutely recommended! I celebrated a great birthday here!!! One after the other. We came here while looking for a new restaurant and were very satisfied with all the dishes we ordered. I was particularly enthusiastic about the tartare starter. Yesterday I celebrated my birthday there with 30 people and I was absolutely thrilled. I was able to celebrate in the beautiful covered “outdoor area” covered in vines. Everything was implemented according to my wishes by the friendly owner couple and their team. I was able to enjoy a great celebration and the feedback from my guests confirmed that I had made the right decision by choosing the location. Everyone raved about the food and the members of the dedicated band couldn't resist the pierogis. My thanks again at this point. I'll be back!!! For eating and also for celebrating. 😊

Such a gem, all the food was very tasty, but the Ukrainian borsch was unbelievable. I didn’t think beetroot could taste this good. Hopefully I can recreate the recipe back home. The hot chocolate also tastes exactly like the one my mum makes.

Cleanliness is not that important, the tables are not clean enough. Every time the guest reads the table, the table should be cleaned, including the tablecloth if it is dirty, that wasn't the case. When we sat down at a table, we also had bottles of oil and vinegar at the table dirty, very unsavory stuff like that at the table The service still has to learn what it means to say thank you when you leave a tip. That wasn't the case on Sunday August 25th, 2024. A tip was charged and not wing and I didn't even hear a thank you. I think it's a shame

The view of the Drachenfels and the surrounding nature is simply breathtaking - perfect for a break from everyday life. The food was excellent: fresh, tasty and prepared with great attention to detail. The selection of regional wines perfectly rounds off the culinary experience. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. As a guest you really feel welcome and well looked after here. The price-performance ratio is also good – overall, a thoroughly successful visit! I can only warmly recommend the restaurant “Zur Quelle” and will definitely stop by again on my next visit to Königswinter!

If you love the largest possible portions without attaching importance to anything else, this source is just right for you. We took a seat at a table outside. Unfortunately, the table had been cleared, but the tablecloth was still dirty from previous guests. There was no Polish beer on the menu... There were a lot of pierogi (1x Russian style, 1x with meat filling), but they were slapped onto long plates listlessly and without any decoration. No comparison to the pictures here on Google. And taste is debatable... Since the waitress was quite clueless about the dishes on offer when ordering and seemed overwhelmed, we wish you good luck visiting this 'Polish' restaurant. Where all the positive reviews come from is really a mystery to us...

Today we had a family celebration with 21 people. The food and service were very good. In my opinion, convenience foods were not used when preparing the dishes. The offer offers something for everyone. What should be emphasized is the very good price-performance ratio, which is surprising these days. I can only recommend the restaurant. @Jens Kierdorf, you probably had to wait because of our family celebration and the resulting temporary capacity of the kitchen. Give the restaurant a second chance, it's worth it!

We visited the restaurant on April 28, 2024 with a hiking group after pre-booking a table. We were warmly welcomed and the table was nicely set. We were almost the first guests. Only one other table was occupied, these guests had already had their food. We had to wait quite a long time before we could place our order, which dampened the mood a bit. After a day's hike, we would have at least wanted to place our drink order a little quicker. After quite a long wait to order, we had to wait over an hour for our food, even though none of us had any special requests and the majority ordered the pierogi offered on the menu. When a fellow hiker asked when our food would arrive, she was asked if we were looking for a fight. The food, which was served after an actually unreasonable wait, was really tasty. The visit leaves a good and a bad memory. In the kitchen we probably worked according to the principle: first in last out, as all guests who came after us (ultimately all tables were occupied) were served and received their food. Every member of the hiking group can confirm this.

We can highly recommend the beetroot soup as a starter. The cabbage rolls are also recommended. But by far the best choice, especially in terms of value for money, was the schnitzel. For the price it is by far the best schnitzel in recent years. The service was friendly but sometimes a bit slow. After a nice hike, we recommend a visit to “Zur Quelle”.

I was there on March 8th and it was very nice! There was a rose for each woman, dessert and wine on the house. The food was very tasty, I had a duck leg with Silesian dumplings and a beetroot salad (I just didn't particularly like the dumplings, I think they were frozen because they didn't have the consistency I usually have), my friend had chicken Liver and that was definitely one of the tastiest I've ever eaten, positions GREAT, great music, super nice waiter who was always ready to help etc. I will definitely come back!

This place deserves more than 5 stars. The staff is very kind and attentive. They care about customers and are willing to help. Delicious Polish food, portions are great too. I can recommend flaczki ( Polish tripe soup) and definitely try kotlet schabowy. We were also treated with a dessert and coffee. Thank you!

A clean test room and the toilets are clean and the staff is always friendly. The food is tasty. One thing you should be clear about is that there is Polish cuisine there and other countries.......... If you like this, you will get your money's worth.
