Ein ausgezeichnetes Restaurant für ein Familienessen. Die Portionen sind groß und sehr lecker. Der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Absolut empfehlenswert!

War nur zum Essen da und alles inkl. Service extrem nett.

Sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unbedingt das Gegrillte probieren, der Fisch war hervorragend, die gemischten Teller auch. Guter Wein und man spricht Französisch, Englisch und natürlich Deutsch – und das alles mit einem Lächeln.

Sehr freundlicher und effizienter Service! Wir haben nach einer langen Familienwanderung zum Drachenfels ein köstliches und frisches Essen genossen. :) Sehr zu empfehlen!

Eine Schifffahrt hat uns nach Königswinter gebracht. Wir schlenderten zur Mittagszeit durch die Gassen der Altstadt und kamen an diesem Restaurant vorbei.Da wir noch nichts gegessen hatten und Fisch sehr gerne essen ,haben wir beschlossen hier zu essen. Wir bestellten uns bei der freundlichen Bedienung 2xBackfisch mit Pommes.Ich erwartete niocht zu viel und hatte mich schon auf TK Fisch eingestellt. Das Essen kam sehr zügig und meine Erwartungen wurden mehr als übertroffen.Wir bekamen jeder ein richtiges schönes Stück Seelachfilet was mit TK nichts zu tun hatte.Das Essen sah sehr appetitlich aus und schmeckte hervorragend.Wir können dieses Restaurant nur weiter empfehlen.

Dorade war hervorragend – perfekt zubereitet, frisch und unglaublich lecker. Man merkt sofort, dass hier Wert auf Qualität gelegt wird. Absolut empfehlenswert – ich komme definitiv wieder.

Einfaches, aber köstliches Essen!

Es scheint, als wären wir in einem dieser gemütlichen Lokale gelandet, in denen der Fisch so zubereitet wird, als läge um die Ecke nicht der Rhein, sondern das Ägäische Meer. ​Wer braucht schon den Bosporus, wenn man Königswinter hat? Wir haben uns für die gemischte Fischplatte entschieden und was soll ich sagen: Der Teller war so voll, dass die Pommes fast um Asyl auf dem Nachbartisch bitten mussten. ​Der Fisch: Die Dorade war perfekt gegrillt – außen knusprig, innen saftig. Und diese frittierten Sardinen (Hamsi) in Sonnenform? Ein Kunstwerk! ​Die Beilagen: Knackiger Salat, tolle Saucen und Garnelen, die nicht nur Deko sind. ​Fazit: Wenn ihr Hunger wie ein Seebär habt, seid ihr hier richtig. Wir kommen definitiv wieder – aber das nächste Mal ziehen wir Hosen mit Gummizug an! ​5/5 Sterne. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Das Essen war wirklich köstlich – superfrisch und perfekt zubereitet. Der Fisch war von höchster Qualität und wunderschön angerichtet. Man schmeckt sofort, dass hier mit Sorgfalt und handwerklichem Können gekocht wird. Auch der Service war exzellent: freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant ist gemütlich und angenehm, ideal, um in Ruhe ein gutes Essen zu genießen. Absolut empfehlenswert für alle, die frischen Fisch und ein schönes Ambiente lieben. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder!

Lokales Restaurant mit sehr leckerem Fisch und Meeresfrüchten!

Das Restaurant Zur Meerjungfrau in Königswinter ist ein absoluter Geheimtipp für Fischliebhaber! Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Kibbeling, der schlichtweg fantastisch schmeckt: Die Panade ist goldbraun und herrlich knusprig, während der Fisch im Inneren wunderbar zart und saftig bleibt. Zusammen mit der passenden Sauce ein echter Gaumenschmaus. Die gemütliche Atmosphäre und der freundliche Service runden das Erlebnis perfekt ab. Wer in Königswinter ist, sollte sich diese Köstlichkeit nicht entgehen lassen!

Ich habe dieses entzückende Fischrestaurant in der Hauptstraße von Koningswinter entdeckt. Die Goldbrasse war perfekt gegrillt. Dazu gab es einen köstlichen Salat und hervorragende Pommes frites.

Die Dorade war perfekt angebraten, ebenso wie der Koch.

Waren am 2 Weihnachtstag dort essen. Preis Leistung top. Wirklich frische Qualität und lecker zubereitet. Der Service sehr freundlich. Am Ambiente kann man noch etwas Pfeilen. Ansonsten kann ich das Restaurant mit gutem Gewissen empfehlen.

Hier haben wir Wochentags abends zu dritt gegessen. Wir hatten einen Tisch reserviert und das war auch gut so. Das Restaurant füllte sich schnell. Wir haben gut, reichlich und preiswert gegessen. Der Service war prima und das Essen war merkbar frisch. Auch schön: man bekommt alle Speisen auch zum Mitnehmen. Kurz: wir kommen wieder.😊

Good food, the grilled and baked fish were delicious, but had limited side dishes. The atmosphere was unexpected and a little loud (music) and dark.

The boss and his staff know what hospitality means, which is not a given in other restaurants in the old town.

We reserved a table and found the door locked. There's no information here on Google, no information online on the website, and we can't be reached by phone. Very poor marketing.

Unfortunately, we can't review the food or service because, despite the opening hours listed on Google Maps and the website, the restaurant simply closed around 6 p.m. on Wednesday. What a shame!

The food was good, no comment. The igiene leaves second thoughts, ordered 2 plates, we waited for the food. When we got our food we had the surprise to find a hair from the chef, no problem they changed with another one. After I eaten half the plate found another one by myself. Let's say that we agreed. Like a last surprise, my wife found another one on the salad. For us was the last time eating there, my bad for paying the plates, don't be like us👋. Excuse me for not posting the photo, maybe some glasses will help the owner( even if he sees his plates, all 3) 🫡 And my bad for not taking the tiket from paying that hole mess called food...

Friendly team. Handmade – not frozen! The fish is still swirling through the breading – made by the chef himself.

It is not easy to find fresh and tasty fish in Bon and surrounding areas... Although this restaurant is relatively small, it offers all you need to experience mediteranian sea side. Grilled fish is excellent, I will come again.

Das Haus zeichnet sich durch eine multikulturelle Speisekarte aus. Wir waren wegen dem Fisch vorbeigekommen. Leider hat ja KöWi so seine besten Zeiten gehabt und daher haben die Gastronomie nicht besonders leicht. Doch gute Produkte finden ihren Weg. Das Ambiente ist schlicht und rustikal. Jedoch gemütlich. Der Inhaber und seine Kräfte sind überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man kommt schnell ins Gespräch. Das PL-Verhältnis ist ansprechend.

Very familiar and friendly. Very warm and very Turkish - apart from the mostly Dutch food - you feel like you're in another world, especially if you're there on a Saturday evening when there's live music. An absolute highlight, this restaurant.

Excellent crispy lekkerbek and delicious grilled fish! The staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. There were many families eating here with their kids as well. Highly recommended for a casual and tasty meal when you are looking for something to eat before Schloss Drachenburg.

We were there with friends on April 24th, 2025 and ate such good kibbeling, a pleasure, all 4 of us were thrilled, the service was very friendly, we would be happy to make the journey from Bad Godesberg to eat very good fish dishes there again. (Lamb which my wife got was great, we will be back.)

We were just passing through and spontaneously decided to enjoy a meal here - and what a wonderful decision it was! The food was so appetizing and delicious that we completely forgot to take photos. Everything was prepared with love and tasted simply outstanding. As we left the restaurant, the owner personally came out to thank us - a warm gesture that really impressed us. Absolutely recommended!

Went to the Drachenfels today on a spur of the moment and were a bit hungry afterwards - a quick search on the internet for some seafood and we came across "The Mermaid"! Thanks Internet and thanks to the good reviews - all the good reviews are understandable, delicious food at a reasonable price - thanks to the operators of the Mermaid!!!! Grilled fish platter for two people and tried the squid rings - I can only recommend it!!!!

Had bread with dips as starter and grilled mackerel with fries and salad as main dish. The main menu came with plenty of delicious fish, and the fries were crisp and tasty. Great value for money. Super friendly and attentive stuff. I have been at this place already before, over a year ago or so, and still remembered the good wine they had over there. I am not in particular a wine connoisseur, but I recommend to try the Turkish red whine. I had two glasses with the main dish, its very good. Unless you have a reservation I also recommend to be there early (~18.30h latest), it usually gets very busy and you may not get a table anymore.

The fish was good and also worthy of the price. Charm more like a fast food restaurant. We sat in the back room, which was a covered courtyard. But it's a mystery to me why both the staff and several people in a group with children smoked there. So only recommended to a limited extent for non-smokers.
