Good restaurant with various specialties

We wanted to celebrate my birthday with family (10 people) and a delicious meal, but we were bitterly disappointed. We had been so enthusiastic about the restaurant on our first visit. The owner seemed irritable and disgruntled. The herb crust on our lamb rump and the sauce were very salty. The response to our complaint was anything but professional. That's how you lose customers.

I really enjoy eating at the Linde. The menu has something for everyone and is well complemented by a seasonally changing specialty menu. The dishes are consistently delicious and highly recommended. As a welcome, there's a small bread basket with pizza rolls, olives, and a dip. The service is friendly and attentive, and the owner is very welcoming. Orders are served in a reasonable time; if it's busy, it might take a few minutes longer. You can sit outside in the beer garden in good weather; otherwise, the dining room is also nicely furnished. Since quality prevails and word spreads, it's advisable to reserve a table in advance, especially on weekends.

Delicious food. The service is poor because it's sometimes understaffed, but very friendly. The ambiance is that of a spruced-up sports restaurant.

My dear husband took me out again today 💝. It was also my birthday. Since we love eating here... the decision was easy. As always, we were warmly welcomed. We had a lovely table for two. I asked on the phone if I could order takeaway. They said, "Oh dear, we're already full" (I was parked in front of their door with my car and was just too lazy to walk in. Nothing was full at all). Just say you don't feel like it, then I would have just driven on to the next shop.

We were there for lunch today. The service was very friendly. The food—we had two pizzas and one corn-fed chicken with a mixed salad—was absolutely delicious. The food was prepared quickly, and we were greeted with a welcome greeting from the kitchen, which was also delicious. We'll be back.

We've been here several times, with both large and small groups. If you make a reservation, it's no problem, and it's always worth it. The service is very good, and you feel welcome. We've never been disappointed with the food; everyone finds something to their liking, and we'll be happy to come back again.

J'ai chercher un restaurant sur Tripadvisor avant de partir de Suisse qui était sur notre route et qui semblait qualité prix abordable. Pas toujours évident et nécessairement facile de se fier à des commentaires. Nous avons tenter notre chance avec ce restaurant Zur Linde à Ettligen. Quelle belle découverte, dans un coin un peu perdu, mais agréable et tranquille. Nous avons été ravi de l’accueil en Français svp et des plats succulents qui ont autant ravi ma femme, moi et nos amis. Je vous le recommande à 100%. Merci à vous et on reviendra un jour. Martin

We had a very pleasant lunch in this restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, especially when dealing with our baby - really fond of children! The food also impressed us: the veal skewer with market vegetables and fries was excellent, the meat was perfectly prepared - tender and tasty. The pasta with scampi and chili flakes was fresh and had a pleasant spiciness from the chili. A small negative point: Unfortunately there is no changing table. In summer, the large terrace invites you to linger, and there is plenty of parking space in front of the restaurant. We'd love to come back!

We spontaneously made a reservation for 4 people – no problem! Shortly after our arrival there was a delicious starter on the table, preceded by a Mediterranean greeting from the kitchen. Despite the full house, the service was relaxed, professional and super friendly. The food came at the same time and was perfect: meat just right, the schnitzel crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with a fresh, lovingly prepared salad. The cozy furnishings complete the whole thing. An all-round successful evening – absolute recommendation!

Wir waren nun schon einige Male am Abend dort, nachdem eine Freundin den Mittagstisch als sehr gut bewertet hatte. Mit Erwartung einer guten Küche im „Clubhaus“ waren wir völlig überrascht von der Qualität der Speisen! Sehr lecker, gute Portionen, preiswert (bedeutet natürlich nicht „billig und viel“)! Und das wiederholte sich bereits mehrfach! Service ist sehr gut, aufmerksam und freundlich!

The Linde offers good home cooking at a very high level, with Italian touches. We've been to the Linde several times, which is also very easy to reach by bike, and the food was always great. The prawns are highly recommended as a starter... I can highly recommend the Linden... we look forward to being there again soon.

We went for dinner based on a recommendation. The atmosphere is typical of a club, cool, boring and rather uncomfortable. The menu is German/Italian. We had both German classics like schnitzel and pizza. Meat was good, pizza is better at Italian restaurants. All in all, the food is fresh and well prepared, and good for a clubhouse.

Have eaten here several times in both summer and winter. The restaurant impresses with excellent cuisine that leaves nothing to be desired. The service is always courteous and particularly friendly. You simply feel comfortable here. As far as what's on offer is concerned, you can let yourself be pampered here. On average, we come to eat at least once a month. We can only recommend this restaurant.

Despite the Sunday lunchtime and the restaurant being full, it was very pleasant to dine; we were served courteously and in a friendly manner. The greeting from the kitchen opened the dance, the lamb's lettuce as a starter was very tasty, the onion roast and the noble fish plate were very tasty. The tiramisu with lemon sorbet and the creme brule with blackcurrant sorbet rounded everything off with the espresso. Thank you for your hospitality, we'll be back, that's for sure. (Without pictures, we focused on enjoyment.)

The restaurant doesn't completely lose the charm of a club restaurant (a large, loud room, a few partition walls, etc. would be good). But the rest is great! Very good food, friendly, courteous service, clean toilets, ground level entrance, plenty of parking spaces. We will be back!

My visit to the restaurant ‘Zur Linde’ was great. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was attentive. The food was super tasty. The potato soup was creamy and delicious, the linguine with shrimp was a real highlight and the tiramisu at the end was heavenly. I was impressed by the quality and taste of the food. ‘Zur Linde’ is definitely worth a visit for anyone who loves good food

Es war wieder fantastisch, es hat alles gepasst.Das Essen war exzellent und die Atmosphäre ist durch die Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit der Mitarbeiter und die tolle Chefin ungeschlagen. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hier her und freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal.

Habe hier mit einer größeren Gesellschaft meinen 70. Geburtstag auf der Terrasse nachgefeiert.Alle Anwesenden waren sich einig: Sehr leckeres Essen freundliche Bedienung. Es war eine sehr gelungene Geburtstagsparty.

Das Restaurant bietet ein breites Angebot an guter deutscher Küche mit internationalen Komponenten. Der Koch hat große Erfahrung und zaubert tolle Gerichte. Egal ob Fisch oder Fleisch: falsch machen kann man eigentlich nichts. Auch der Service ist echt spitzenklasse. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt auch sehr gut und das Restaurant ist insgesamt eine volle Empfehlung wert.

Der Empfang durch die jüngere Servicekraft war sehr unfreundlich, abweisend und genervt, was sich leider auch während des gesamten Aufenthalts nicht änderte. Das Essen dagegen war lecker, appetitlich angerichtet, die Wartezeit kurz, die Preise fair, die Dame, die uns zwischendurch versorgte und auch kassierte, war sehr freundlich. In der Hoffnung, dass unsere „miesepetrige“ Bedienung einfach nur einen schlechten Tag hatte, werden wir ein weiteres Mal wiederkommen.

Nach unserem Besuch beim Buchtzigsee gestern entschieden wir uns, das Restaurant zur Linde in Ettlingen auszuprobieren. Das Essen war in Ordnung, aber der Service war leider komplett überfordert. Trotz wiederholter Erinnerungen wurde der bestellte Apfelsaft, sowie Bratensaucen für die Kinder nicht gebracht. Zudem fehlte es an Salz und Pfeffer auf dem Tisch. Mit zunehmender Anzahl der Gäste schien das Personal sich weniger für uns zu interessieren. Es ist schade, dass der Service nicht unseren Erwartungen entsprach und wir uns vernachlässigt fühlten. Wir hoffen, dass das Restaurant zur Linde in Zukunft seine Servicequalität verbessert, um den Gästen eine bessere Erfahrung zu bieten.

Sehr leckeres Essen, zügig heiß serviert . Sehr freundliches Personal. Kleine Portion Marktgemüse auf dem Teller, hätte mich auch über einen Beilagen Salat gefreut, der im Preis inbegriffen ist. Sehr gerne wieder.

Sehr ruhige und schöne Aussicht. Das Ambiente schön gestaltet. Das Essen aus der Küche schmeckt sehr lecker, zum ersten Mal im Leben schrimps gegessen und es war ein Traum. Das Personal sehr freundlich und Kinderlieb. Auch der Gruß aus der Küche sehr schmackhaft gewesen. Kann man nur weiterempfehlen.

Essen schmeckt, aber teilweise sind die Portionen sehr klein ( Rumpsteak gross, Ravioli nur 5 Stück auf den Teller) für nicht wenig Geld! Es ist eng bestuhlt und sehr warm im Restaurant. Der Service muss dringend an sich arbeiten, uns wurden am Anfang die Karte gebracht, ab da ignoriert. Nach mehrmaligen rufen konnten wir unsere Getränke aufgeben, dann kam unser Essen und dann passierte nichts mehr! Kein Service mehr es wurde kein Tisch abgeräumt, keine Nachfrage zu Getränke, Dessert oder ob es geschmeckt hat, wir wurden von drei Bedienungen ignoriert. Bezahlen klappte erst ach der dritten Aufforderung ! Schade

Neben der L607 zwischen zwei Seen und Ortsteilen, liegt das Gasthaus. Außen mit überdachtem Bereich, Betonfliesen, großer Parkplatz. Innen ebenso nüchternes Sportgaststättenflair. Einfacher rechteckiger Raum mit Theke, geometrisch angeordnete Wirtshausstühle und Tische. Aber auf jedem Tisch ein Väschen mit frischen Blumen und mit niedrigen Raumteilern wurde versucht manchen Tischen etwas Privatsphäre zu verschaffen. Bedienungen (3) nett und aufmerksam. Sonntags um 12:30 war bereits alles reserviert und belegt, es war aber trotzdem nicht zu laut im Raum. Große Essensauswahl und Tagesgerichte. Fleischlastig italienisch. Als Gruß aus der Küche gab es kleine Pizzabrötchen, schmackhafte Oliven und eine Tomatencreme. Das Essen war gut. Fleisch sehr zart. Suppeneinlagen alles selbst gemacht. Das Gemüse war mir etwas zu wenig und zu grob geschnitzt, außerdem gab es Zuckerschoten, die ich wegen der „Naht“ nicht leiden kann. Auf Nachfrage gab es auch noch mehr Sauce. Toiletten sind im gleichen Stockwerk gleich beim Eingang. Für Damen 2 Kabinen, kein/e Tageslicht/Fenster, Dauerlicht zum selbst einschalten. Sauber.
