Zur Krone in Mühltal

We spontaneously decided to go with four adults and two children and received a warm welcome. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. We were offered a complimentary starter soup, which was also very tasty. We had schnitzel and the spicy cordon bleu, while the kids had spaghetti and pancakes. Everything was delicious. Upon request, they even made spaetzle with fried potatoes. The side salad was also excellent. In short: We'd love to come back. We felt very comfortable and everyone enjoyed the food. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

It's worth coming here for sunset!

The restaurant was fully booked. We were a large birthday party and everyone ordered from the menu. The food was served quickly and was exceptionally delicious. It was amazing what the staff accomplished that evening. It was truly superb.

Unfortunately, the owner doesn't quite grasp the concept of customer service! At our company party, when several male guests wanted beers at the beginning (we had to wait almost 45 minutes for our first order, mind you), we already had our first discussions with her about how they were a wine bar and therefore only had a small selection of beers. Fine, we could have lived with that if it had been communicated beforehand or on the website. But when the bottled beer arrived with a 0.2-liter juice glass, we all agreed that this wasn't exactly worthy of a self-proclaimed Michelin-starred restaurant. When we asked if we couldn't have a proper beer glass, we were told snidely that the beer tasted just as good from that glass. When we replied that this wasn't correct, we were met with such an unfriendly response that it was just a mental construct and a matter of opinion, and that we either drank it from soda glasses or we should just leave it. If this hadn't been a corporate event, we, as private guests, would all have gotten up and left immediately, because, especially considering the prices being charged, this is simply unacceptable. We are all mature individuals in our 50s and 60s and have dined extensively, sometimes at very upscale restaurants, but we have never experienced such poor service at this level of establishment.
