But in Munich at the Viktualienmarkt (Tourispot) the half light costs 4.70 and in the Käsmühl 5.30. Do you notice it yourself, right? You are still in Mülheim.

After several pleasant visits, there was a misunderstanding between the servants regarding table allocation, whereupon I was approached very unfriendly by one of the servants, even though I had made no mistake. When asked about her inappropriate behavior, the unfriendly lady only showed haughty arrogance instead of insight (I could complain, but she didn't care at all!). It's a shame, so far I've found the food to be okay and the opening times every day from midday onwards are very practical. However, since I am not willing to subject myself to the arrogant moodiness of the staff, I cannot make a recommendation. Employees of this type should not expect a good house.

Every year we go to goose dinners with 4 people. This year we chose the cheese mill and reserved the 4-course goose menu offered here long in advance. it was absolutely great value for money. - Reception was friendly and prepared - the service also came promptly to ask for drinks... our favorite was the homemade blackcurrant lemonade -shortly afterwards the other courses followed at short intervals - the service was always friendly, caring and attentive - everything went like clockwork - the food was all very tasty no matter which course - The homemade gingerbread ice cream with cinnamon plums was outstanding All in all, it was a successful evening for us and we will definitely try the alacarte in the beautiful garden location in the summer.

The food was ok, we had tarte flambée with vegetables. The vegetables were very clear. The tarte flambée was served sliced ​​and each piece had either a tiny slice of pepper or zucchini on it. Expensive failure in the cheese mill - disappointing and without class Our first visit to the cheese mill was a huge disappointment. We ordered the veal schnitzel with fried potatoes - at a price of 25 euros we were looking forward to quality. But what came was simply inedible: the fried potatoes were completely burnt, black and bitter. Since we were traveling with two impatient toddlers, all we could do was laboriously pick out the few edible potatoes instead of letting everything go back and waiting again. As we left, we politely pointed out the burnt food - but that too ended in disappointment. A curt “Yes, that’s right, pass it on” was all we got. No regrets, no apologies, not even a question about whether we enjoyed the food - as you would expect from a restaurant in this price range. This evening was an annoying experience and with the high prices you simply feel ignored and ripped off as a guest. Without question: We will not be coming back and cannot recommend the cheese mill either.

There are Hessian specialties as well as interesting own creations from the kitchen. As soon as you order, it is served - even for large groups. Real Hessian Äpelwoi pub. Service was a bit harsh, but attentive nonetheless. The separate coachman's room is very pleasant for small groups.

What can I say? I know the cheese mill differently, everything was great there, but this time, as soon as we walked in there was an unpleasant smell, a mixture of a poorly ventilated kitchen, an old inn where you're the first to open the door in the morning, definitely not tasty. A waitress who could be my daughter who just kissed us from the start. And finally the food, well. If stir-fries with fried potatoes only take 6-7 minutes, then I know where they come from, just warmed up... and that's exactly how it tasted and for the price I definitely expect something completely different. The only thing that was good was the beer.

Although you can have a good time here, in a nice atmosphere and with good service, we were all quite disappointed with the food. The duck was super tough and barely edible, the schnitzel was dripping with fat, the fried potato was partly burnt and the apple strudel, which was supposed to be crispy, was soft, like it was from the day before yesterday. The food is still heavy on our stomachs in the evening. Unfortunately, more emphasis is placed on quantity rather than class. There are better places to visit in the region.

I rate my visit as part of a company celebration. The request the day before to move the event indoors due to the weather was responded well to. Both the service and the food were very good. Käsemühle delicious food with good portions. Service is always very quick and friendly. I usually eat schnitzel there, they're nice and big and crispy, the fries are also really good. The only thing that needs to be improved is the fried potato. Why one side is black and the other isn't even brownish, it's more like coal. Recommendation is to order fries instead. That would be my only negative point.

We were here in changeable weather. But thanks to a huge covered outdoor area, we were able to sit outside comfortably and pleasantly. Ambience great! There are many different guest rooms and a number of different outdoor areas. Suitable for every taste and for every celebration or just “just because”. Lots of parking available. But the area is a bit out of the way. I particularly like it being in the middle of the landscape. For others it might be too far out. Only accessible by bike or car. Didn't see any public transport. Toilets for wheelchair users are only accessible to a limited extent. But now the best: The food was super good!!! Inexpensive, very tasty, really good quality, huge selection on the menu and large enough portions - even for real men 😉. The staff was very, very friendly and approachable. Conclusion: Even the long journey from Frankfurt to eat is worth it. We were 5 people with one car. Always my pleasure! Clear recommendation 👌👍

Hello, unfortunately the schnitzel wasn't warmed up well, dry spaetzle came 3 minutes after ordering but tasted ok. I ordered a sour spray with it which tasted very musty and stale, without any carbonation. The service is rude and unhelpful It was and it became ridiculous. She took the glass with her and wanted to refill it with water which made it even worse. I couldn't drink it and the service was rude and disrespectful. Of course I had to pay for the spoiled drink. So don't order cider there. I've had stomach pain since then.

My only wish would be that the path to the toilet could be made non-slip [possibly with rubber mats], even if there was a sign pointing out the risk of slipping, because that was a small drawback for my 99-year-old husband.

Currently an extra ticket for the Pfiffling season. Also a good selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. Very quiet location, you can sit outside and enjoy the weather. I particularly recommend the Frankfurter Medpelchen, homemade, the best I have had so far.

A large terrace, I didn't see the interior. My wife and I found a restaurant called the Cheese Mill that is open at lunchtime on Mondays, which is now a rarity. As soon as we sat down, the always friendly service presented us with the menu. Vegetarian and vegan options are available and clearly marked! Many restaurateurs are still in a deep sleep on this topic. Bravo cheese mill My wife chose a trio of hand cheese, with fruit, with green sauce and with vinegar, oil, onion, caraway. She enjoyed it. I started with a goulash soup, which was solid with a lot of ingredients and well seasoned. The two slices of baguette looked like they had been freshly baked out of the foil, but they were okay. My homemade brawn brought surprises. What was negatively surprising was that instead of tartar sauce, as it says on the menu, pure white, shiny sour cream was served; it was absolutely tasteless. I haven't gotten anything like this anywhere. You might think that's a good thing, but what's on the menu should be served. Typical for brawn is the clear jelly in which the roughly chopped deposits are clearly visible. The deposits are finely chopped in the cheese mill and form a mass with the jelly, which I don't think is a brawn. But I enjoyed it. It was well seasoned and had a slight acidity. A pickle or two would have been nice too. What is remarkable is the fast pace at which everything happens. And if one or two reviewers here suspect that all the dishes are prepared, then what else? I don't think that in a restaurant like this the kitchen help starts peeling the potatoes after I have ordered. I think some people would be surprised at the level of preparation that exists in a slower venue. The service professionally responded to my comment about the “remoulade”. However, one little thing bothered me. The cutlery is in the beer mug on the table. That's okay, but every other jug ​​has the handle broken off! That's ugly and a replacement wouldn't noticeably reduce the restaurant's profits. Dear person, you answer the reviews here, this doesn't have to be discussed with the team. And not with the tartar sauce either ;-)
