Zur Hexe in Mannheim

An older local crazy place for a bear or traditional food. I did not eat food when visiting, but had a beer with local friends in a Nice welcoming atmosphere. Food is said to be good, tasty local food - but as said, I did not eat there myself.

When I asked about the menu, I was told: The kitchen is closed on Mondays. But there was nothing about that on the website 🤨🤨🤨

Unfortunately it was a private event.

I went there for lunch. I'd go back anytime. Thank you very much, the food was delicious!

The atmosphere is nice. You can sit comfortably outside in the beer garden. However, we waited almost two hours for our food, and drinks were forgotten several times. That's absolutely unacceptable! On top of that, the schnitzels were completely oversalted and the sauces were inedible. We won't be coming back.

Quaint ambiance. Unfortunately, we had to wait a very long time for drinks and food. The food took about 1.5 hours. I was extremely hungry and was very annoyed. After asking twice about the waiting time, there wasn't even an apology or any concession/"time pass," such as a shot of schnapps. Small menu, but perfectly fine for me. I particularly enjoyed the salad dressing. I thought the hunter's schnitzel with croquettes was excellent, even if a bit too salty. The prices were absolutely fantastic; I paid just under €20 for two blackcurrant spritzers and the schnitzel. However, under normal service conditions, we could have consumed considerably more in that time, especially given the high temperatures. It was also bad for business. Unfortunately, we won't be visiting the restaurant again.

Small menu, lackluster staff, a bit rundown. Drinks are OK, but I can't recommend the food.

Had a meal at the Hexe yesterday, disaster, portions are plenty but that's it, Jaeger schnitzel is made with a dill sauce, tastes really horrible, my gypsy schnitzel had 6 pieces of completely soft boiled pepper pieces, more for toothless people, the fries are dark, people prefer to charge 2 euros more and focus more on quality, I can't recommend the place under any circumstances, unfortunately you can give me 0 points

Very quaint restaurant, nice service, reasonable prices, cordon bleu with croquettes and salad, very tasty.

Positive: The food is good, home-style. Large portions. Schnitzel is actually Well done. Goulash soup really well done. Ordered 5 meals plus drinks. Negative: Strammen Max was very salty. But the waitress rejected our suggestion as incorrect. We sent the food back. The waitress and the boss wanted us to pay for this food even though it was not edible and only a forkful was tried. Friendly criticism is immediately rejected and discussed instead. The service was unfriendly from the start. We ate there for the first and last time. Too bad!!!

The restaurant is a bit strangely decorated, but the food is prepared with a lot of love and is plentiful, and the prices are humane and affordable. It is also suitable for small celebrations. You can also pre-order the food and pick it up.

Gemütliche familiäre Location, gut zum draußen sitzen, kleine aber feine Speise/Getränkekarte

War begeistert von der Deko, überall Hexen in verschiedenen Größen und Formen. Der Biergarten lädt zum Entspannen und Genießen ein. Das Personal war freundlich und kompetent. Das Essen soll sehr gut sein, leider habe ich es noch nicht probiert. Das werde ich auf jeden Fall nächstes Mal ausprobieren.

Coole Einrichtung, sehr freundlicher Service, haben sogar ein Gericht off-menu bekommen auf Anfrage. Sehr lecker, kann man empfehlen!!

Ein schönes Plätzchen, gemütliche Atmosphäre im Biergarten, saubere Toiletten, die Bedienung ist freundlich und flott. Das Essen ist gut und reichlich, aber nichts besonderes. Preis/Leistung stimmt.

Coole Location, Essen riesig und gut, Bedienung ist einmalig, immer wieder gerne. Probiert die dunkle Kirsche!

Liebes „Zur Hexe“-Team! Es ist wirklich gemütlich bei Euch, und ich bin bisher immer gerne in Euer Restaurant, auch mit Besuchern von außerhalb von Mannheim gegangen. Leider kann ich das nicht mehr. Die letzten Male, die ich da war, war entweder die Kühlanlage vom Bierfass kaputt, d.h. nur warmes Bier oder aber es gab gleich überhaupt kein Fassbier. Noch problematischer finde ich aber, dass es zuletzt auch mehrmals nichts mehr zu essen bei Euch gab, u.a. an einem Freitag um 19.30 Uhr (!!!). Egal, ob Personalmangel oder Lieferprobleme… Wenn ich mich nicht darauf verlassen kann, dass ich das bekomme, was in der Karte steht, kann ich das Restaurant leider nicht mehr besuchen und schon gar nicht anderen zeigen oder empfehlen. Der Name ist Geschäft, Alles mit hexen dekoriert. Bedienen war freundlich. Essen war lecker und viel. Speisekarte gibt aber net viel aus wahl. Für muslimische Leute weniger zu empfehlen, da es überwiegend nur Schweinefleisch gibt

Supernette Bedienung. Wir waren mit unseren Enkeln heute hier zum ersten Mal und haben Jägerschnitzel und Schnitzel Wiener Art gegessen. Sehr lecker und grosse Portionen.Sehr kinderfreundlich. Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. 👍👍👍
