There is a long tradition of having a family-run inn at the monument in Badenstedt. Together with an outdoor area and a modern dining room with a traditional touch, it is a feel-good place. In addition to German cuisine, there are also various international dishes on the menu, which are prepared well and quickly. Beer on tap as well as from the bottle. This place is suitable for a quick beer in between, for dinner for up to 8 people or more, as well as for parties and private events. The innkeepers are in a good mood and are always up for fun. Unfortunately, the interior is cramped for wheelchair users and the toilets can only be reached via one step, as was common practice 100 years ago. Parking is only public on the street, but the subway stop with an elevated platform is in the immediate vicinity of the restaurant.

I've been coming to the restaurant regularly for over 6 months. You will always receive a friendly welcome and feel like you are in good hands. I personally recommend the rum steak, which has quickly become my favorite dish.

A small pub with a restaurant. The menu includes various tapas from Spanish cuisine. I had gambas al ajilo, unfortunately. It lacked flavor, both salt and especially garlic. The good portion of prawns was buried under a sea of ​​oil. Since the schools were still on the tails, it was difficult to eat. You first had to fish them out of the oil. My girlfriend had Jägerschnitzel with fried potatoes. The fried potatoes were quite good, the schnitzel was ok and the ready-made sauce seemed to have been extended with a lot of creme fraiche.

The homepage doesn't say when there is actually a buffet. I then inquired via email. After a week still no response.

Oh how delicious and fresh... the service is super friendly and attentive... I sat outside in the beer garden and it was relaxed and cozy... I can highly recommend the schnitzel with potatoes... everything was clean... I will gladly come again...

Very simple beer garden, food with gourmet block only 1/2 portion of chicken breast. Portions at the next tables are much larger : ( ! That's actually not the point of the gourmet block, the food should be identical. But the taste is good.

Went here for dinner after a busy day at the trade fair as an exhibitor because our hotel was nearby. We were very satisfied here overall. The service staff was always nice and friendly. The preparation of the food went very quickly and the food was overall very tasty. For the price the portions are really huge. I can highly recommend the giant “Danish style” curry sausage. I only knew this composition from hot dogs, but it also goes well with currywurst. I paid around 18 euros for the currywurst and a small cola. Speaking of Cola. Actually, I should deduct half a star here because I only received a small one instead of a large one. During the meal I was a bit suspicious for a moment, but didn't think about it any further. Ultimately, I only noticed it in the hotel room when I looked at the bill. But since, as I said, we were otherwise completely satisfied, the food was very tasty and only the small amount was charged, I still give it full marks. Too much cola is unhealthy anyway. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Food was very tasty. The ambience was nice, the table was beautifully set, a little tip it could be more inviting from outside.

It was very loud the whole time, but the service was very nice. I also had to wait a long time for my food and it only tasted medium. The price is a bit too high for that. Furthermore, the schnitzel is said to have tasted like it came from the deep fryer, but the fries were perfect. The whole thing felt very much like a bar and is only recommended for bar lovers. There was little choice for vegetarians, apart from the starters.

Last weekend we had dinner in this beautiful restaurant with 18 people... (60th birthday)...everything was made with so much love, we all felt very comfortable. We became aware of the restaurant through the Schlemmer voucher block that we received as a Christmas present. We were not disappointed with the first piece of paper we redeemed. Due to the somewhat old-fashioned furnishings, we were initially skeptical about what to expect. Still seemed well cared for. The very nice service quickly delivered the drinks to us and our four-legged friend. The food was a treat both visually and in terms of taste. I would have liked to take another food photo but given my appetite the scene was destroyed too quickly ;-) VG

Das Essen ist ein Traum, es lohnt sich hingegen

Wir sind zwei Tage hintereinander zum Abendessen gegangen und obwohl wir kein Deutsch sprachen und uns als Spanier identifizierten, waren sie jederzeit bemüht, uns exquisite Aufmerksamkeit zu schenken. Herzlichen Glückwunsch an das gesamte Personal, einschließlich des Kochs (der ein wenig auf Spanisch mit uns gesprochen hat). Das Essen ist übrigens ausgezeichnet, sie haben fünf Sterne verdient.

Die Portionen sind groß und einfach lecker - zu einem sehr fairen Preis. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der unglaublich freundliche Service! Wir kommen gerne jederzeit wieder!

Wir waren gemeinsam mit der Familie zum Abendessen in der Eiche. Sowohl Essen als auch Service, Ambiente und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sind nicht zu schlagen! Alle unsere Gerichte wurden frisch zubereitet und hatten top Qualität! Besonders zu empfehlen ist das Champignon-Schnitzel mit Kartoffelwedges. Bis zum nächsten Mal!

Wir waren zum Fussball schauen da. Gegessen haben wir auch. Ich hatte Jägerschnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln. Butterzartes Fleisch, knusprige Bratkartoffeln. Dann hatten wir eine Tomatensuppe und einen Thunfischsalat. Alles sehr frisch und richtig lecker. Der Service bekommt von mir 100 Punkte. Sehr aufmerksam, schnell und super freundlich. Sky schauen ist ok. Sicherlich gibt es größere Fernseher, war aber in Ordnung, gehen sicherlich noch ein weiteres Mal hin. Fotos habe ich diesmal leider keine gemacht

Uriges Restaurant mit guter regionaler Karte. Die Bedienung, Chefin und ihr Mann, sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben abends kurz vor 21:00 Uhr das Lokal mit 9 hungrigen Mäulern gestürmt, der Laden war voll, aber wir fanden alle unkompliziert am Tresen Platz. Der servierte Grünkohl und die Schnitzel waren super. So macht ein Besuch Spaß - vielen Dank 😊

Ich war heute kurzentschlossen mit meiner Tochter wieder Mal hier essen. Es war wie immer sehr lecker. Der Service war super nett. Wir fühlen uns hier immer sehr wohl. Absolute Empfehlung

Ein sehr netter Abend, freundlicher Empfang, sehr leckeres Essen (Schnitzel und Steak),wobei das Steak perfekt Medium gegart war(danke an den Koch). Das frisch gezapfte Bier sehr gut und zügig serviert. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Viele Grüße an das tolle Team
