I recommended Dani's chicken to my family and they were thrilled. I had fries and currywurst. You can't go wrong here anyway. I love the fries here. The best I've had away from home so far. We were all full too. The friendly service girls were all very helpful and we were well looked after. I think the small guest room was really well done. I find it very comfortable. So if you don't like the bar thing with the bar in the main room like me, you're in good hands there or outside in the beer garden.

The drinks and the food were very, very good. Delicious desserts, a great wine selection and outstanding service are offered!

We were at ZWO08 for the first time yesterday with 14 people. Dani has been the new owner since last year and has put a lot of work into the beer garden and the interior. Modern and still has a rustic charm with the old bar. Absolutely recommended. The service was top. The drinks came quickly and the food came at the same time for everyone! A big compliment to the kitchen. The sauces for all dishes were very tasty, well seasoned and everything was nicely presented. The schnitzels were tender and deliciously breaded. The currywurst sauce couldn't be beat. The chicken was also very flavorful. The portions were absolutely sufficient All the plates were cleaned as if they were empty 😅 A good selection of drinks and a good menu with something for everyone. All in all a successful evening

Addition, 11/26/24: We have been there twice now and were warmly welcomed each time and the service and food were excellent both times. The new owner has turned the Greek restaurant into a great new, modern and cozy restaurant with a beer garden/pub. You can tell from the small details how much effort everyone has put into it. The love for her homeland and the name of her shop are clearly visible. We had dinner there in the evening and there were fries, schnitzel, Königsberger meatballs and the excellent "feta with honey and sesame". I can really recommend it from the bottom of my heart. The new owner is accommodating, friendly and very open to her guests. We wish the Zwo8 team all the best and a successful future :)

I found the food to be exceptionally bad. We all had schnitzel, and 1. it was quite small and thin, 2. it had absolutely no flavor, and 3. in my case, it came with canned mushrooms and a sauce that had absolutely no seasoning! I would have accepted it in the hospital, but not even in a better snack bar! The price, however, was at restaurant level. Perhaps other dishes are better; we can't say for sure, but we're never going to find out. We sat outside, so I can't say anything about the atmosphere inside. It was functional, a small beer garden. The service, however, was very friendly and on the ball, at least!

I think this blend of classic pub and kitchen is absolutely perfect. It's not a huge menu, but there's still something for everyone. The prices are reasonable, too. I think the overall rating of between 4 and 5 stars is very fitting.

Finally...😄😅 Today I finally managed to go to Dani's and have something to eat there. The weather was great and it was inviting to sit outside. I really enjoyed the great hospitality and delicious food. I like having such a cozy and rustic restaurant on my doorstep. You feel comfortable and at home here. "That's how it has to be"... A quaint pub with restaurant quality food! Super friendly staff and absolutely relaxed atmosphere. Family atmosphere and many (apparent) regular guests! We are happy to have gotten a table. The Jägerschnitzel was definitely not frozen and the sauce tasted as if the mushrooms had been in the forest an hour ago. Crispy potatoes are a successful alternative to fries. Well seasoned and fried without fat! There were three of us and we all absolutely loved it! That wasn't our last visit to Zwo8!

Had an invited breakfast there 🥞 with egg and rolls and sausage and cheese platters - very nicely decorated ♥️Dessert 🍀 I'll definitely be back... beautifully done... I think it's great 😊

Redesigned with great attention to detail 😍 Even the beer garden can be used in the cold season thanks to the tent and heaters (the smokers are particularly happy about this 😉). Going to Zwo8 is like coming home... everyone is greeted warmly, you feel welcome, it is a meeting place for the young and the young at heart, like a big family that is constantly adding new members. The service too…always nice, friendly, accommodating. If you want to eat delicious food, whether for lunch or in the evening, this is the place for you 🤗 The Zwo8 is an insider tip that is no longer so secret and so it is not surprising that it is better to reserve a table. But there is also enough space for spontaneous detours. It looks like the new boss has done everything right and Zwo8 will remain THE meeting place in Bergheim for many, many years. A meeting place with heart, comfort and time for happy hours 🥰

A great place to go for young and old, with a great atmosphere. Whether it's as a stopover on a bike tour in the beautiful beer garden, for a daily changing lunch menu or for a cozy after-work beer and delicious food, it's always worth stopping here. We always feel comfortable with Danni. She is such a kind person and takes time for every guest. So far everything I've eaten has tasted great, but the currywurst is absolutely amazing. It's certainly not always easy for her because she's never had anything to do with gastronomy, but I think that's what makes her special. She has desire and she has the power. My husband celebrated his birthday at Zwo8. We and our guests were very satisfied, the traditional buffet was very tasty and plentiful.

We ate chicken and schnitzel here for the first time yesterday and will never get chicken anywhere else again. The chicken was an absolute burner! Nice and crispy and super tasty! The Jägerschnitzel was also super good! The new store is just really beautiful. A must for all Bergheim residents who love chicken!

We have always enjoyed visiting the pub. Now it has been renovated with many hands and a lot of love. Everything was great, very comfortable. We have a new regular pub again. We ate there food ok water not so good too klat and no carbonation ambience good in itself. Everyone sees it differently, when I have guests I'm on site and not cleaning outside...

Went there for coffee and cake for the first time today. Super delicious home-baked apple cake and huge crispy waffle. I can only recommend it!

Nice service, mediocre food, simple atmosphere

Sorry - if I go out to eat somewhere and it's worse than at home, then I'm not only disappointed. Visually the fries were a 10 out of 10, but in terms of taste and feel they were the worst in my year 2024. The chicken died at least 3 times and the schnitzel was in the lower range in terms of craftsmanship. I don't want to talk about the "Metaxa" sauce - and I don't have the highest standards. The salad was the nicest thing for me. The ambience is a matter of taste, but not for me. In my opinion, the overall concept still has room for improvement.

Yesterday I tried the lunch menu. The pea soup was very tasty and the owner was very friendly. I also got to look at the back room and it looks great. I look forward to eating there more often.

We had dinner at Zwo8, there was Jägerschnitzel with fries, chicken and feta cheese as a starter! It was incredibly tasty, including the wine that was served with it! It was a perfect evening with friendly service and a great chef! We'd love to come back!

Quaint little Greek restaurant with a beer garden in the heart of Bergheim. Super friendly and attentive staff and owner couple. The Greek dishes are top notch and the fries are crispy. Salads and starters very tasty. Only the schnitzels are not high quality meat. Gyros, on the other hand, are very tasty and tzatziki are always fresh. The chicken also looked good and is on our wish list for the next visit. Cozy little beer garden always very busy in the summer months. Reservation is recommended. From now on we will be repeat offenders more often. Unfortunately, the restaurant with beer garden no longer exists under the old management. We'll be surprised who will take over the location. It's a real shame, a loss for Bergheim.

Leckeres Essen und gute Portionen

Wollte Samstags um 17 Uhr Essen für 5 Personen zum Abholen für 18 Uhr bestellen. Da wollte man mich mit der Bestellung um 2 Stunden später vertrösten. Das geht so nicht. Werde mal Vorort essen um Qualität zu testen. An diesem Abend könnte mir die Schlemmer-Stube auf der Behringstr. Das erforderliche Essen schnell zubereiten.

Salat zu sauer , Jedes Essen nur mit Pommes und gegen Aufpreis Scheibenkartoffel. Keine Beilage Auswahl

Waren heute das erste Mal dort Essen. Habe einen Gyrosteller mit einem kleinen Salat als Beilage gegessen. Der Salat war so lecker Gewürzt und das Gyros mit dem Tzaziki wsr super lecker. Die Bedienung war mega freundlich und vor allem sehr Aufmerksam und hat immer geschaut das wir alle gut Bedient waren. Es hatte uns an nichts gefehlt. Der krönenden Abschluss war der grüne Ouzo den wir als Absacker vom Haus aus bekamen . Mh sooo lecker 😋 habe sowas noch nie getrunken 🤩👍👍

Immer wieder sehr lecker ,man wird freundlich empfangen und im Sommer kann man gemütlich draußen im kleinen Biergarten sitzen. Am besten vorher reservieren.
