Zum Wilden Mann in Schifferstadt

Found the restaurant by chance (and Google Maps) on our return journey from Italy and were thrilled by the delicious and imaginative cuisine as well as the great service.

The food is good, there's nothing to complain about. The service could be a bit more professional. Everything else is fine, I think it's worth stopping by. The salads and sauces are also very fresh. Leftover Corona privacy screens – Plexiglas panels along the bar – are a shame, but it doesn't make the whole thing quite as appealing at this otherwise nice bar counter. I would go there again if I were alone on a Friday evening or something. It's all good. I recommend the rump steaks.

You want Turkish cuisine, you can get Turkish cuisine here. Adana kebap actually tasted like in Adana. Octopus buttery soft. The greeting from the kitchen with 3 different “dips”. Side salad and bulgur very tasty. Family run restaurant. Ambience very nice. Absolutely recommended.

We were invited, so we didn't care about the amount of the bill. The meal was excellent. We had fish, other vegetarian choices and the meat dish was probably very good. The service was top 👍 The ambience is very beautiful and very appropriately curated, it is more extraordinary than a usual restaurant. We felt very comfortable there.

We didn't eat there, just drank something. The first impression was not so positive for us. The interior was put together. It smelled good, but the restaurant didn't look well maintained for my taste. Therefore only 3 stars. The toilets were clean. The location of the restaurant was actually great, right on a lake with lots of parking spaces and forest around it.
