Fantastic location, near the A61. Good, clean rooms with all amenities and a great shower. Breakfast is excellent! Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed on Sunday evening; we hope to experience that on our next visit (it has a very good reputation).

We had a lovely evening with friends at the restaurant on a Thursday. The service and kitchen staff were very attentive and spontaneously found a lactose-free option for the menu, which we highly recommend. The entire place is very inviting, and the prices are reasonable.

Highly recommended for private parties, dinners, and corporate events. Beautiful ambiance, excellent service, and superb food. We'll definitely be back!

Delicious breakfast buffet on Sundays

We booked an overnight stay with a conference room and a cooking class. This was our second time staying there; the hotel is still very attractive and comfortable. Breakfast is highly recommended. The cooking class was fantastic, thanks again to the instructor!

We had goose dinner yesterday; we weren't at the hotel, but it was very delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was lovely and playful.

Everything was simply superb... Food... Service... Atmosphere.... 5 stars Yes, that was then... The restaurant owner, or rather the person in charge behind the bar, completely lacks any understanding of how to treat guests. On my previous visits, the atmosphere was quite different. It seems there's been a generational or staff change. We were immediately snapped at and told that we weren't allowed to park in the courtyard, that it was only for overnight guests, and asked if we couldn't put up the appropriate sign. Naturally, we complied with this person's request and found another restaurant. Never again. It's a shame; I used to enjoy being a customer there.

Disappointing – unfriendly and unprofessional **Review:** After a long journey with children, we were snapped at because we wanted to get something to eat. No one was available to resolve the situation. The room was okay, but by no means outstanding. Hospitality: nonexistent. The parking lot is free but very narrow, and above all, it's dark, with annoying poles obstructing the way. I would not recommend this hotel. Update October 26, 2025: After his disgraceful behavior, the owner is now hiding behind the hypocritical claim that we were "not present." Unfortunately, this is not the case. In my opinion, the reviews here may not be genuine. Hopefully, Google won't delete this review, otherwise nothing will ever change. We hope that someone reads this review and confronts the owner about his behavior. Update October 30, 2025: We hope that Google won't delete our personal opinion. We are now being threatened with legal action because we are expressing our opinion. That's very unfortunate and, in our view, doesn't reflect well on the author. We should be allowed to express our honest opinion.

We had a wonderful, short stay with Tobias at the Salischer Hof! Our family room with a connecting door was perfect for us, and our initial interaction was completely relaxed and friendly. The breakfast was simply world-class – so much choice, lots of homemade items, and even a waffle station! You can immediately tell that Tobias is a host who puts his guests' needs first. Our little one even got a cuddly toy as a surprise – really thoughtful 🙏 We felt completely at home and will definitely come back when the restaurant is open. Unfortunately, it was closed on the Wednesday we were there. The Holiday Park (Plopsaland) is right around the corner – perfect for a family stay. If you're not looking for a run-of-the-mill hotel, but love the intimate, personal charm, this is the place for you!

For people who don't book hotels very often: I've stayed in hotels in eastern Germany, the north, Baden-Württemberg, North Rhine-Westphalia, Karlsruhe, and more. This hotel was the best I've ever stayed in for the price. A varied breakfast, a quiet place with a comfortable bed. My room had double-glazed windows, which helped a lot to reduce potential noise. I spent the whole week there. Overall, it was very good.

Reception via key box. Upon leaving, there was neither a "goodbye" nor a "have a nice day." A friendly farewell is part of good service. It's a shame, as this somewhat tarnished the otherwise neutral impression.

We eat here often. The service is very good, the tables are lovingly decorated, and the atmosphere is excellent. We would especially like to highlight the minimalist menu. The food is always surprising and perfectly composed, plentiful, and of high quality. The wine recommendations are also perfect. The menu is good value for money. We're already looking forward to May 2nd.

I celebrated my birthday here with 30 people. The consultation beforehand was excellent. The venue is very attractive. Some of my guests stayed at the hotel and were very pleased with their rooms. The breakfast was plentiful and very good. My guests were thrilled with the location overall. The food was delicious. It was a successful celebration. Many thanks to Mr. Zürn and your team!

Great staff, super friendly and authentic

We were invited, so we didn't care about the amount of the bill. The meal was excellent. We had fish, other vegetarian choices and the meat dish was probably very good. The service was top 👍 The ambience is very beautiful and very appropriately curated, it is more extraordinary than a usual restaurant. We felt very comfortable there.

A wonderful place to enjoy a delicious meal in the restaurant or to enjoy the evening sun in the garden. All areas are tastefully decorated - you immediately feel at home and can relax. The best thing is the restaurant: There were only 5 dishes on the menu (including starter and dessert), but they were all GREAT!

Great seasonally changing menu. The wine list is not huge but definitely well selected so that everyone is guaranteed to find something in addition to cocktails etc. There are nice menus, but you can also order everything individually if that's too much for you. The service is young and very attentive. The decor is very cozy with some very modern murals which are also available for purchase. We chose the lamb's lettuce as a starter. Since meat is our topic, we tested the rump steak with oyster mushrooms and onions. We ordered the meat medium rare and it was perfect. As a wine accompaniment we had the Rose "3 Reben" from the Palatinate, which we also liked. Overall, everything is highly recommended...and if you've had too much wine, you can rent a room there and stay overnight.

We were here again and spent a wonderful evening with our friends. The food is incredibly good, and Mr. Zürn and his team are very accommodating and friendly. We're already looking forward to our next visit to the Salischer Hof!

We went there for the first time today Have breakfast there. The ambience is lovingly designed and the selection at the buffet is large, so that everyone will be happy. We enjoyed it very much and are already looking forward to the next time.

Been there for dinner again, this time Friends Night. Everything is just right: ambience, the food, great selection and so tasty, beautifully presented, super attentive and friendly staff and also really good value for money. Such a lovely evening, we sat together comfortably for almost 4 hours and were completely happy.

It is a quiet place, very clean, and the receptionist was helpful and polite. Just what i wanted to be. Free parking with a lot of space included. Nice gesture with a bottle of water cookie and apple.

So unexpected and so so beautiful!! We were there for the Alfred Hitchcock crime thriller dinner and we expected everything, but not this setting!!!! Already at the entrance everything was (now) decorated for Christmas. Things continued like this inside. The rooms were tastefully decorated over and over, but not overloaded. The staff was extremely friendly and, above all, very competent. A change in the menu was responded to immediately and my husband was immediately given different dishes. Without much blah blah. The menu selection was based on Alfred Hitchcock's crime novels, which was really delicious and surprising. The head of the house had done really good research. We really haven't eaten so well in a long time!! We'll definitely be back!!!! And by the way: the early Christmas decorations are, among other things, for the upcoming Christmas market with many exhibitors 😍

Top hotel, especially for business travelers! Great breakfast! Super accommodating team!

Based on a recommendation, I had the pleasure of spending a weekend there. What is immediately noticeable is the lovely ambience: everywhere decorated for autumn, with great but unobtrusive decorations. It was really a feast for the eyes. Everything was super clean and perfectly placed. I was thrilled as soon as I entered the yard. The registration was completed quickly. I was greeted by a nice young lady who did her job with a smile and a lot of joy. A short and precise explanation of the room and the locking system rounded off the warm welcome. The room was absolutely clean and well equipped, the bathroom was exactly what I expected after the first positive impression. Dinner – oh my god, was that good! I started with a pumpkin cream soup, incredibly delicious, and then came one of the best rump steaks I've had the pleasure of enjoying in years: cooked to perfection, perfectly seasoned and as tender as... simply incredibly delicious. I found the orecchiette particularly exciting, I've never had them served like that before - they went wonderfully with the steak. I rounded off this feast with a cheese platter – a treat, I tell you! With the meal there was a Merlot, which harmoniously rounded off the perfect dinner. The breakfast on Saturday and Sunday was just as excellent. For me one thing is absolutely certain: I have found my new favorite hotel here. Even if I don't stay overnight, I will definitely come here to eat again. Thank you for this wonderful weekend, to which your house contributed significantly.

Diverse topic - 1) Double room size does not correspond to the booking (24 sqm) - significantly smaller 2) Equipment - none that corresponds to the price of €153 for a double room 3) Bed - no pillow, more like a 3cm cushion; extremely thin blanket - everything extremely uncomfortable 4) TV - more of a pad and not suitable for one room 5) Bathroom - little storage space, no wall hooks, a hairdryer from the 70s, disgusting shower curtain, no shelf in the shower, extremely smooth shower tray, light switch in the BATHROOM and not at the entrance outside 6) no wardrobe, no hook, 7) Rooms dingy and dusty 8) Breakfast - normal breakfast without any special frills - 7:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. However, come earlier, because from 9.30 a.m. the employee clears away and does not refill (e.g. scrambled eggs or bacon) Update based on owner's response: In principle, it was clear that you would react this way, especially since you don't seem to tolerate criticism and always react so aggressively when someone gives the hotel or restaurant a bad rating. Nevertheless, all the things or incidents described are fact and exactly what happened. It was not for nothing that I had already told you this personally on site ("Room is not possible and in no way corresponds to the price"). However, the assumption about the dogs is a cheek. Especially since they didn't stay in the hotel at all, but were with my mother. Therefore, there are no outstanding costs and I owe you absolutely nothing. But calling me and writing e-mails afterwards and threatening to report it to the police is really completely wrong - you can be happy if I don't report you for defamation. If I could, I would reduce the one star from the rating :-(

A great team led by Tobias Zürn organized an unforgettable birthday for me and my 18 guests in October in Möller's Restaurant. Very professional and individual - from the preliminary discussions, the decoration, the fulfillment of individual wishes to a great kitchen and a very attentive service. For me, as a very demanding and not always easy guest, everything was as I wanted it to be. The feedback from my guests was consistently positive. Many thanks, dear Tobias Zürn, to you and to the entire team. You did great. Please maintain your concept and the high quality of your products and their excellent preparation. In my experience, anyone who wants to host a celebration there is in the best hands.

THE culinary highlight of all our trips from Berlin to the Palatinate! Yesterday we had game (deer) for the first time - a dream. And everything is prepared with the same attention to detail that the Salische Hof exudes as soon as you enter. For us it's always like a vacation within a vacation. Met here last night for the class reunion: the food (burger with fries) hardly deserved the word "food" - completely soggy. My classmates were no different here. A large part of the food went straight back because it not only looked bad, but was also hardly edible. They were probably leftovers for “old people”. I will definitely not look at the inside of this restaurant again. No recommendation! Update based on the operator's answer: I had complained to the waitress, but it obviously didn't get through (?), there was no salad, some of the fries were black and my feeling is just my feeling. There's no point in trying to categorize me as a know-nothing guest who knows nothing about good food. I like to eat well, but quality and price have to be in proportion, which it didn't do for me that evening.

A beautiful, well-kept hotel in half-timbered style. The hotel is family run, everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The inner courtyard and the restaurant in particular are lovingly designed. Very great atmosphere, especially the garden is really great. The food is very tasty and of a high standard, corresponding to the price, small menu, but everything of the highest quality. So prices are okay. The food sometimes differs from the menu, at least what we imagined from the description. Service is very friendly and accommodating. The owner is a service person and is always up for a little fun. We also often have themed evenings or special menus. Definitely not cheap, but value for money is right. I really enjoy going there.

Very nice accommodation with a beautiful garden to sit out. The room was a bit small, but this was due to the relatively short notice we booked. Otherwise it was neat and clean --> no complaints. The absolute highlight was the breakfast buffet. Great selection and really tasty. Keep it up!

We stayed here for one night and treated ourselves to a break. The room we had was very small, but ok for one night. Despite the fact that the room on the ground floor was directly in the inner courtyard, you didn't hear anything at night. We had a nightcap in the evening and had breakfast in the morning. The service is very attentive and nice. I had a Lillet that came with fresh fruit, which I've never had before. Very fruity. The breakfast is very presentable and clean. From rolls to salmon, jam, dips, waffles and nice little dessert glasses, there is something for everyone. The hotel attaches great importance to sustainability, which is completely OK for us. The hotel is located in the middle of Schifferstadt, parking for hotel guests is possible in the courtyard.

Everything was fine. We spent a wonderful evening. Warm welcome, great ambience, very attentive service and the food was a dream. Rump steak, Wienerschnitzel and asparagus salad perfectly seasoned. This is rare to find. Price performance is 100% right We are already looking forward to the next time.

Ein besonderes Hotel mit einem tollen Frühstück. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt.

Nettes kleines Hotel mit ruhigen und sauberen Zimmern, sowie äußerst nettem Personal. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr lecker und für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Bedanken möchte ich mich an dieser Stelle auch noch mal für die Möglichkeit die Thermoskanne mit Kaffee für die anstehende Schicht füllen zu können.

Wieder mal das minimalistische 10 Gang Menü mit Freunden genossen es war ein rundum gelungener Abend. Das Essen der Service und Ambiente wie immer von der Fam. Möller nicht zu toppen. Kann man immer empfehlen

Waren vor 3 Wochen zum Taufessen dort. Super zuvorkommender Service, wie immer war das Essen genial 😍 Habe leider vergessen Bilder davon zu machen. Zu den Zimmern kann ich nichts sagen. Im Garten gibt es einen Spielplatz für Kinder.

Was für eine Überraschung. Wir suchten einfach nur eine, dem Hockenheimring naheliegende, Übernachtungsmöglichkeit nach dem Springsteen-Konzert. Das Hotel erwies sich als zweiter Höhepunkt der Reise. Schon bei der Einfahrt auf den Parkplatz waren wir vom Biergarten und Ambiente begeistert. Die Zimmer standen dem im Nichts nach. Soviel Liebe zum Detail habe ich selten gesehen. Die Freundlichkeit des Personals, immer zuvorkommend und stets gut gelaunt. Nach einer ruhigen Nacht setzte das Frühstück noch einen drauf. Alles frisch und liebevoll angerichtet. Die Eierspeisen und Waffeln wurden vor den Augen des Gastes zubereitet. Kurzum: Es blieben keine Wünsche offen. Wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen und freuen uns heute schon darauf. Sehr gutes Restaurant. Meine Begleitung und ich waren zum 10 Gänge Menü dort und das nicht das erste Mal. Ist halt etwas teurer dort aber die Qualität stimmt und ab und zu kann man sich das mal gönnen. Sehr leckeres Essen und immer wunderschön angerichtet. Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Restaurant hat einen schönen Innenhof, wo man im Sommer gemütlich sitzen kann. Hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Perfect hotel voor onderweg naar je zuidelijke vakantiebestemming. Vriendelijk personeel, goede kamer, leuk en sfeervol ingerichte terrassen, een uitgebreid ontbijt en niet te vergeten een perfecte keuken.

Wir kennen dieses Lokal seit einigen Jahren und gehen dort sehr gerne hin. Wir fühlen uns dort sehr wohl und können fantastisch schlemmen. Aus einer alte Scheune haben die Besitzer dieses Hotel Restaurant mit tollem Ambiente mitten in Schifferstadt geschaffen. Kann nur positives berichten und jedem der die Rezession liest empfehlen. Wir haben vor kurzem eine Hochzeit gefeiert. Es war einfach fantastisch, das ganze drum herum hat perfekt gepasst. Angefangen vom Chef des Hotel Restaurants, über die Räumlichkeiten, teilweise urig gemacht und eingerichtet aber auch modernes mit dabei. Das Service-Personal ist immer sehr zuvorkommend. Die Küche, die sich sehr sehr viel Mühe gibt um dem Gast vollmundigen Speisen auf den Teller zu servieren. Das Areal mit chillenden Innenhof (hier wäre über ein Sonnenschutz nachzudenken). Der Außenbereich im hinteren Hof eignet sich fantastisch für freie Trauungen. Die Hotelzimmer schlicht und fein eingerichtet, einfach alles ist meiner Meinung nach 5 Sterne wert. Jeder Cent, der in dieses Hotel Restaurant ausgegeben wird, werden ihr nie bereuen. Auf jeden Fall ist es für uns so. Wir werden weiterhin dieses Lokal immer wieder besuchen und es in vollen Zügen genießen.

Der Service war außerordentlich gut, spezielle Anforderungen beim Essen wurden nicht nur befolgt, sondern proaktiv erledigt. Die Qualität des Essens war sehr gut, wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt, sowohl auf den Lounge Möbeln im Hof, als auch im Restaurant. Das Frühstück ließ ebenfalls keine Wünsche offen, ganz klare Empfehlung!!!

Der Service hat mich begeistert - ich hatte einige Einschränkungen beim Essen und der Service war total aufmerksam und hatte leckeres glutenfreies Brot als Alternative parat. Tolles Frühstücksbuffet! Seit langem mal wieder zum BBQ im Salischen Hof gewesen. Es war wieder sehr lecker. Netter und sehr aufmerksamer Service. Es macht Spaß mit dem Koch zu schwetzen. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant ist sehr ruhig und entspannt.
