" Zum Stefan" Restaurant in Hamm

We celebrated our silver wedding anniversary at the restaurant yesterday with 24 people and were very pleased. Both the quality and service were first-class. I would especially like to emphasize the very warm welcome; you are greeted as if you were invited to a friend's house. We have been here several times and would be happy to come again. Thank you very much!

We celebrated our wedding there. It was incredibly beautiful, the food was incredibly delicious, and everyone, especially the owners, was incredibly nice and friendly, and the hospitality you experience there is something you don't often find! We'd love to go back to this restaurant again 😊

Absolutely wonderful, friendly service. The food was delicious and more than plentiful. A fantastic beetroot salad. We'd previously attended a performance at the Waldbühne and ended up here thanks to the positive reviews. We'll definitely be back. Unfortunately, it's a bit far from Kamen to eat out, but next year we'll definitely be back. Thanks for the lovely end to the evening.

Spontaneous on a well-attended evening – still warmly welcomed and well placed. Ambience & Atmosphere: The restaurant “Zum Stefan” impresses with a cozy, inviting atmosphere. You feel welcome as soon as you enter - the welcome is warm and personal, which is particularly positive. We were recognized even after a long absence, which gave us a nice feeling of familiarity. Dog friendliness: A real plus: We were there with two dogs and, despite many guests, we were offered a place where the four-legged friends could lie down without any problems - very attentive and uncomplicated. Service: The staff is extremely friendly, approachable and strives to make your stay pleasant. A small point of improvement would be to actively ask for drinks requests perhaps once or twice more during the course of the evening - but that's "complaining at a high level". Food & Drinks: The menu offers a wide selection, especially for meat lovers - but vegetarians will also find suitable options. Absolutely convincing in terms of taste! I would particularly like to highlight the fries: so well seasoned that I didn't even miss ketchup or mayo (which rarely happens for me!). The small salad bar is simple, but everything was delicious. Price-performance: The prices are reasonable and are in good proportion to the quality of the food and the service. Not a bargain, but absolutely fair. Location & accessibility: The restaurant is easy to find. There are parking spaces right in front of the door or in the surrounding streets - no problem even in the evening thanks to street lighting. Conclusion: “Zu Stefan” is a place to which you like to return – and we will definitely do so more often in the future. The combination of delicious food, warm atmosphere, animal-friendly service and fair price-performance ratio convinced us again. Clear recommendation for anyone who wants to enjoy good food in a relaxed atmosphere - with or without a dog.

A busy restaurant. Finding a parking space is the first big problem. The restaurant is relatively noisy. Drinks, food, and prices are good. Service was attentive, but the wait times were quite long due to the number of customers.

The food was simply amazing. The steak was cooked to perfection and was incredibly tender. I highly recommend it. The staff are very friendly and cheerful. One minor criticism is the lack of tuna and cheese at the salad bar, but the dressing was excellent. Even the chef was super relaxed and always had a witty saying. The whole thing rounded off perfectly. Many thanks to the Gasthaus zum Stefan. I'll be sure to spread the word and will definitely be back again.

Top! Very nice hosts, the food is delicious, rich and there is a large selection. Everything is fresh and arrives hot at the table (important for us). You can also put together your own starter salad. This means you only get what you want on your plate. For us, the “Gasthaus Zum Stefan” is a clear recommendation. Our local relatives are also enthusiastic = tested several times, always satisfied = simply good!

Wow! This food is absolutely amazing! We were amazed. There was a lot of food, the plate was really full. But we almost completely finished it! Even the kids were really excited and loved it. It's a 3 hours drive from our hometown, but so worth it! I hope we will get back here soon, because when i think about it, my mouth starts watering!

We ordered two large plates to pick up for a small family celebration. There was also a vegan plate. When we picked it up we were greeted in a very friendly manner and asked to wait a moment as the food had only just been wrapped up warm. When we got home everyone was thrilled with the quality and good taste of the food, the steaks and grilled food were on point, the vegan food was great. We are very satisfied and will definitely repeat again. PS the platters are offered for 2 people and there were 7 of us at home and we were super full.

For fans of particularly meat-heavy cuisine. “Classics” from the Balkans and schnitzel in many variations. There is also a very clear number of vegetarian dishes. We were there with 11 people on a Saturday evening. Of course with reservation, which I would recommend to everyone. The restaurant was very full, which on the one hand speaks for the quality, but on the other hand of course leads to a somewhat louder atmosphere. The bottom line is that it was bearable, but I would have the romantic dinner for two somewhere else😁. You feel comfortable in the restaurant. Everything was nicely prepared and clean. Even when the restaurant is at full capacity, the waiters are always there when a drink is coming to an end. We had contact with several people at the table and everyone was very friendly and not stressed. The kitchen also coped excellently with the large crowds. We didn't have to wait longer than average and our company got their food at the same time. Everyone was absolutely satisfied with their order and enjoyed themselves. For the hungry among you: Here you can fill up even if you're hungry... at absolutely reasonable prices. You can put together a small side salad yourself. If you're looking for something to complain about: I didn't like the mayonnaise. There is clearly room for improvement... but that is of course very subjective. The parking situation isn't the best either, but sometimes a few minutes' walk after dinner isn't bad at all 🤪. We'll definitely go there again.

The good recessions are really justified. There were six of us there and we all had different dishes plus starters, there were no complaints whatsoever. The staff were friendly and attentive, even though the restaurant was very busy 👍. The price-performance ratio is more than justified. Unfortunately, I have to deduct a point for the ambience; due to the busy restaurant, the noise level was correspondingly high. Reservation is probably required. We look forward to the next visit.

Absolutely harmonious restaurant with everything your heart desires. Numerous draft beers, good wines and a clear menu that focuses on quality rather than quantity. The staff were consistently very, very friendly. Of course the whole thing has its price but that is out of the question and everyone has to decide for themselves what they want to afford! Maintaining such a business at this level is not easy, but here everyone can find something that suits their budget;). It's also perfect to sit outside, but technically you're sitting on a side street with little traffic, the operator can't change that, but they're making the most of it! We'll be back... Good restaurant with lots of Balkan dishes and international specialties. The prices are very fair, but you get decent portions that fill everyone up and the best quality! The staff is always very nice and accommodating. During the Corona period, my mother and I also went there several times Called and ordered food to be picked up. It was always ready to be picked up on time at the agreed time, which speaks for the good organization there. At Christmas time and New Year's Eve the house always offered a free schnapps and I've also had a Püleken beer from the house on top My mother and I were always very satisfied with the delicious food that was offered there.
