Zum Schwarzen Adler in Harzgerode

On the last day of the holiday we always go out for dinner, and for that we went to Zum Schwarzen Adler. In that season the asparagus was recommended, but I went for the peas. To be honest I didn't have high expectations of the peas and the salad, because they are usually not very tasty in the Netherlands. But this chef had prepared them deliciously! And the schnitzel was also very tasty. In addition, a very friendly man in the service, who was not pushy, but was there if you needed anything. Dogs are also more than welcome. The decor was simple, but the food was fantastic. Highly recommended!

We were on a short vacation in the Harz Mountains and the restaurant was highly recommended. And we weren't disappointed! The food was excellent, here the schnitzel is prepared by mom - you can taste it too :) The landlord is very nice, attentive and funny. It was a completely successful evening! So good that we ate there twice in three days of stay. We will definitely be back, thank you again!

We were there again last night and had dinner there. And it's fun to go there. The landlord always has fun and a few sayings on his tongue 👍 It is definitely recommended to drink a small beer...There are differences to be noticed...😅 We have already reserved a table again and are looking forward to it.. I would advise everyone to make a reservation by phone!! Keep it up... Many greetings also to Erwiin, who unfortunately didn't have time to stop by this time...🤣🤣🐶

We celebrated my birthday and thought everything was wonderful, the food was delicious as always and the service was great anyway and we also thought the overnight stay with breakfast and our visit were great. We can only praise everything.

Wow, what a surprise. Great, quaint restaurant. Good home cooking, small menu (mainly schnitzel), but super tasty. Roast venison was great, schnitzel was buttery. Mom cooks here and you can taste it. The service was outstanding. The children were provided with games. The highlight was the Labrador “Erwin”, who let us pet him. Price/performance completely okay. Very happy again.

We went to the Harz for a short vacation and had dinner here. The “trainee” served us and was super nice and friendly. I have rarely experienced this. He brought a game for the children to pass the time. The food was really tasty. Great German cuisine. He had a relaxed, friendly manner. We would love to come back. And can recommend the restaurant without reservation.

We had dinner at the Schwarzer Adler twice on the last weekend in July. Service, ambience and food were great! Even with a full house, things progressed quickly and all the employees were super friendly! Here we still cook and work with heart and love! A wonderful family business! :) If we're in the area again, we'll definitely stop by.

We had been out all day and were extremely hungry. Unfortunately we were 15 minutes late because the kitchen closes at 8 p.m. However, we still got a large schnitzel on bread and salad. It was really tasty and a decent portion. Thank you very much!

Extremely delicious schnitzel, we were there with 13 people and all the dishes were great and the plates were empty at the end. Kudos to the mom in the kitchen. The landlord must also be mentioned - we have rarely experienced such courteous, friendly and proactive service. He even brought puzzle games for the children while they waited. An all around wonderful restaurant experience. 👍🏽😊

Today we actually went a little further away for dinner. Staff was completely annoyed. Have you made a reservation was the first question. How should I make a reservation if no one has answered the phone for 3 days. Then we drove further and found this restaurant. Even though it was actually closed, the nice man said, come in. We can't offer the entire menu now, but that didn't matter at the moment. We still got space and were very satisfied. Staff very friendly and the food was really great. That's why full stars 🌟. Saved to the list where the staff and food is great. Keep it up, that's what I call service. Always come back for dinner.

Das 3 mal hier gewesen, leider dieses Mal enttäuscht. Betten zu tief, noch alles in den Zimmern auf Oststandart. Beim späteren Frühstück war leider vieles nicht mehr vorrätig.

Eine sehr schönes Landgasthaus mit sehr freundlichen Gaststätten Personal in Familien Betrieb. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön gestaltet. Das Angebot an Speisen ist sehr gut und preiswert. Alles wird auch für das Auge wunderschön serviert. Wir sind bestimmt nicht zum letzten Male mit unseren Kindern aus Sachsen hier zum Essen gekommen. Ein großes Lob an die Küche und die super freundliche Bedienung von allen.

Einfaches Restaurant mit solidem Essen. Wir sind abends eingekehrt und würden freundlich und unterhaltsam bewirtet.

Wir hielten hier spontan auf unserer Heimreise an, um gleich noch ein Abendessen zu uns zu nehmen. Der Empfang sehr nett und die Tagesempfehlung( Rouladen von Mutti😉) waren mega lecker. Trotz vieler Gäste hatte der Kellner stets ein offenes Ohr und ein gutes Timing!!!! Falls wir irgendwann erneut hier vorbei kommen sollten, werden wir auf alle Fälle wieder einen Stopp einlegen👍👌.

Wir waren 5 Personen und eher zufällig hier. Es war für einen Freitag sehr gut besucht. Uns wurde schnell ein Platz zugewiesen. Sehr schnll hatten wir unsere Getränke. Die Speisekarte hatte für jeden etwas dabei. Nach der Bestellung brauchten wir nicht allzulange zu warten. Und das obwohl das Lokal voll war! Essen war für alle absolut einwandfrei. Hier sind Preis und Leistung absolut im richtigen Verhältnis. Im Gegenteil für die Qualität der gebotenen Speisen kann man vermutlich auch mehr verlangen. Sind wir erneut auf der Durchfahrt, in werden wir ganz sicher erneut hier einkehren.

Sehr zu empfehlen sind auf jeden Fall die Schnitzel. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Der Inhaber hat uns extra eine Parkmöglichkeit auf dem Grundstück gegenüber gegeben damit ich aufgrund einer Rückenerkrankung nicht so weit laufen muss. Absolut Top! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Super netter Service Noch nie so viel leckeres Essen für so einen schmalen Taler gegessen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und freuen uns jetzt schon auf den nächsten Besuch im Schwarzen Adler.

Tolles, gastfreundliches Haus. Ich habe spontan auf einer Motorradtour nach einem Zimmer gefragt und hatte Glück. Preis incl. Frühstück war super aber die Wirtin war das Beste. So lieb und gastfreundlich! Ich kann das Haus jedem empfehlen.
