Bei einem Klassiker total versagt! Als kleinen Snack zwischendurch bestellten wir den klassischen Flammkuchen für 10,90€! Der Flammkuchen wurde ohne Besteck und Servietten serviert und wurde kalt! Der Flammkuchen schmeckte leicht säuerlich und war lieblos und schlecht belegt! Das geht ohne großen Aufwand sehr viel besser! Vielleicht liegt es an den zu vielen Touristen die nur einmal das Etablissement besuchen!

Nice restaurant in the heart of Deidesheim. Seating is available indoors and outdoors. The inner courtyard is partly open and has a great ambience. You can eat typical Palatinate dishes here. The price is reasonable. The service was good, quick and friendly. Absolutely recommended for a visit, we really liked it.

Hier sitzt man in einem schönen Innenhof, der Service ist aufmerksam, wenn er auch manchmal bisschen freundlichen sein dürfte. Weine und Speisen sind ok. Bisschen schade, dass sie einiges nicht selbst machen. Z. Bsp. der Flammkuchen war ein TK-Produkt, was der Koch dann auch noch in Massen auf dem Arm quer durch den Hof getragen hat. Passt trotzdem und man kann sich hier niederlassen.

We celebrated the eve of our wedding with a group of 52 people at the Gasthaus zum Schwanen and had a great time. Everything was prepared exactly as agreed and the wine shop we were sitting in was perfect for the size of the group and a comfortable get-together. The Schwanen team looked after us very well, professionally and friendly even though the inn was completely full, and as always at Schwanen we ate and drank really well. Overall, it was a really successful evening and we always enjoy coming back to the Schwanen!

Delicious food & wine, nice atmosphere.

Reservation was easy, friendly, unobtrusive service, I really enjoyed the food (Palatinate plate), as did the wine spritzer. Next time maybe in the courtyard, it looked very cozy, definitely again

The Restaurant zum Schwanen is beautifully located with a cozy courtyard in the middle of Deidesheim. The service was good and the food was tasty. The large selection of regional wines and the like was particularly great. The non-alcoholic Prosecco Wine Not from the Deidesheer Winzerverein is particularly recommended. Unfortunately I have to deduct one star because one dish contained mushrooms, even though they were not listed in the list and mushrooms are not vegetables.

Very good food and attentive staff

This restaurant is much better than the Google reviews suggest! Unlike most other places in Deidesheim, you can always find a table here, which is a huge plus. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and the dishes are delicious. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone!

We got a nice table in the courtyard and felt very comfortable. Unfortunately, my steak was a little too dark and therefore a little too dry. The Palatinate plate was very good. Nice atmosphere and nice waiters helped to overcome that.

After a civil wedding, dinner in a small group. 8 adults had ordered various dishes (e.g. rump steak, schnitzel, tagliatelle, Palatinate dishes). 2 rump steaks were not medium, but rather well done and tough. One steak was replaced with a fresh one, and with the other steak the waiter came back with the plate and showed with a flashlight that the steak wasn't completely cooked inside. That was also the groom's steak. So they put him back to the old steak. But he still wasn't happy. The steak was still tough, so he left half the piece. How can you offer Argentinian rump steaks like this? They were almost charred from the outside!!! In addition, two schnitzels were fried too dark and were dry. The fries were very light and soft, not cooked through. They didn't even apologize. We were all very disappointed. Never again!!! Update: Only half of the guests were disappointed with the food. I hope that the owner will be able to take criticism and that he can do better next time.

A very nice, large courtyard with lots of space and a pleasant atmosphere. The service was very friendly and competent, the food was also very tasty - absolutely recommended! :)

Beautiful courtyard that is very well attended. The menu has a lot to offer, from tarte flambée to regional dishes and seasonal delicacies. Good selection of wine, like almost everywhere in the Palatinate. Friendly service.

Service and ambience were great, the food was mediocre. The Handkäs with music was nicely prepared but didn't taste good. The Pfläzer plate was convincing and unfortunately not, the sauce tasted like it came out of a bag. The fried potatoes with white cheese, however, were good.

My wife and I wanted to thank you very much for opening earlier after consultation after our civil wedding and for the wonderful and smooth process. Your employees were super accommodating and friendly, and everyone really enjoyed the food. Despite the fact that we were a large group, every dish was cooked to perfection and tasted great! Big praise to the kitchen and the service staff! We can recommend the restaurant to everyone!

Sehr schönes Ambiente - super freundliche Bedienung - 5 Essen anlässlich Geburtstag waren gut - leider war das fürchterliche tiefgefrorene Zanderfilet eine einzige Zumutung (2 kleine dünne Bruchstücke) in Nudelwasser schwimmend, dadurch die vielleicht leckere Sahne-Dill-Soße geschmacklos! Wenn es keine Feier gewesen wäre - sofort nach dem ersten Biss - reklamiert und Essen zurück. So etwas darf die Küche nicht verlassen!

Münster bread is farmer's bread baked with Black Forest ham and Münster cheese, plus caraway and pickle. Guys, this is an absolute blast. You definitely have to try it out. I didn't know it until now 😋😋😋.

You can sit nicely in the courtyard and have a good time. The food is cheap but unfortunately anything but homemade. The tarte flambées are frozen goods, even the waffles for dessert are unfortunately not freshly made, so they are probably also frozen goods. It's a shame that people still cook like that today, but rather a smaller menu with homemade home cooking

We were there for the first time for Mother's Day (5 people) and found a new favorite spot! We were served by several service staff and everyone was in a good mood, warm and very attentive! We sat very comfortably in the courtyard and enjoyed the food - even the 94-year-old grandma was happy. The schnitzel in particular was very tasty and the prices were really fair! The next excursion with a stop at Schwanen is already planned!

Im Nachhinein wurde uns unterstellt, wir hätten nicht alles bezahlt. Der Eigentümer rief sogar jei uns im Golfclub an und beschwerte sich darüber. Letztendlich kam dann doch heraus, dass wir alles bezahlt hatten. Der Wirt hatte sich nur darüber geärgert, dass wir vermutlich zu laut waren! Genug Geld hatten wir ja dagelassen!

Good cuisine, friendly service and children are welcome. Also a very good address for larger groups. We celebrated a family celebration with 25 people here. We were able to react to the great weather at short notice and move our celebration to the beautiful courtyard. The food was very tasty and the service was always attentive. The price-performance ratio is definitely right here.

eigentlich hat das Restaurant Potential, aber leider waren wir sehr enttäuscht. Der Service war eine Katastrophe - es hat ewig gedauert, bis wir bestellen durften. Das Essen selbst war ebenfalls kein Highlight - grosse Portionen aber leider nur mittelmässige Qualität - es geht hier darum, das Touristen satt gemacht werden und nicht darum, die pfälzische Küche zu präsentieren. Es muss auch nicht permanent laute Musik gespielt werden ! Man wir satt, das war es aber auch. Preise sind ok

The latest addition to the catering industry in Deidesheim is located opposite the historic town hall. Anyone who has made it to the swan is not far from raving. Selected Palatinate wines, good Palatinate specialties accompanied by German cuisine. A few months after the opening in December 2017, a reservation is recommended. a cozy restaurant with hospitable staff.

Yesterday we were looking for a restaurant with good Palatinate cuisine; really not easy on a Monday as many restaurants were closed. We were all the happier about this discovery. Exquisite and extremely attentive and friendly service, great selection of food and drinks and very good food. And in a very nice atmosphere. Everything is simply wonderful, we will definitely be back!

We went to "Zum Schwanen" yesterday and it was very good, I had the beef salad which was not only quite large but also very good. The waitresses were very nice, the service was quick, the atmosphere was, well, middle-class, with the wooden doors still creaking, I like that, but certainly not everyone. Toilets modern and clean. We will definitely come by on our bikes in the summer. Clear recommendation when it comes to the food and that's what it's all about.

We celebrated our grandpa's birthday with a larger group and had lunch at the “Zum Schwanen” restaurant. The service was very attentive and the food came super quickly. We can highly recommend the Fleschknepp, the Cordon Bleu and the Swiss sausage salad. We felt very comfortable and went home happy with a full stomach. Dogs are very welcome there and children also find their place in the high chair. All in all it was a very successful birthday. We would like to come again!

Ate there 2 days in a row. Cordon Bleu, Palatinate plate, Kaiserschmarrn, Fleschknepp, grilled salmon and tagliatelle with salmon and vegetables. Everything was very tasty except for the various vegetables with the salmon noodles. Definitely too many vegetables and I couldn't define what they were, there was something sour there and it smelled like that too. I sorted everything out. The service was very good .

I ate the Palatinate plate there. The liver dumplings were purchased and the bratwurst was definitely NOT Palatinate bratwurst because it is coarse and not fine. In addition, the bratwurst was the worst thing on the plate in terms of taste. Overall the food was very bland. I liked the bread there best.

Professional and friendly service. Kitchen is recommended, fresh ingredients. Especially Palatinate cuisine. Liver dumplings, Saumagen and bratwurst of very good quality. The bread is terrific. Fried potatoes were crispy (not greasy or mushy). There are even children's meals (small schnitzel with fries). Open wines well selected. Reasonable prices. Feel free to come.

Hallo an alle Schwanen_Beteiligten, Ich war an zwei aufeinander folgenden Tagen hier. Dieses schöne Ambiente, dieses leckere Essen, dieser wirklich freundliche Service... das lässt mich doch gerne die 100 km von zu Hause auf mich nehmen. Einer der Tage war übrigens mein Geburtstag, und ich werde ihn lange in Erinnerung behalten. Danke! (Dezember 2023)

Wir gehen schon seit Jahren in dieses Restaurant wenn wir in Deidesheim Urlaub machen, es ist es jedesmal wieder super schön dort zu essen und die Zweisamkeit zu genießen. Personal ist immer super aufmerksam, die Gerichte sind einfach nur lecker 😋... die Weine schmecken uns auch immer sehr. Macht weiter so und bis zum nächsten Mal 😊

Waren spontan zum Mittagessen dort. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat uns enttäuscht. Eine kleine Schale Bratkartoffeln mit Münsterkäse überbacken für 15 Euro und Beilagensalat extra 5 Euro, war das Geld nicht wert. Echt schade, ansonsten ein schönes Lokal.

Speisen waren lecker, Preise schon gehoben, Bedienung freundlich und aufmerksam.

Wir aßen natürlich pfälzische Kost und dazu ein schönes Glas Weißwein.

Wir haben einen Kurzurlaub in Deidesheim verbracht und waren gleich zweimal in diesem tollen Lokal essen. Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Wir hatten Vorspeisen und Hauptgänge, die Gerichte waren alle sehr lecker. Auch die Getränkeauswahl hat unseren Geschmack getroffen.
