I was in the restaurant today for the first and last time. Don't understand the good reviews. Just because the schnitzels hang over the plate doesn't mean they're good. Meat pounded to a size so that you have a huge schnitzel on your plate and there is no room for the fries. You have more breading in your mouth than meat. Then fried to death too. So dry. So that's not how I imagine a schnitzel. Better one and do it right. I definitely don't recommend it.

An absolute must! Great food, super friendly staff, even with unusual orders... Children and dogs welcome... it was a lovely evening, unfortunately no picture of the dessert...! It's worth taking another route... Reservation would make sense! Definitely & would love to come back...

We were there on Thursdays for Schnitzel Day. After a normal portion of schnitzel, you have the option of ordering another, smaller portion for free and as often as you like (as long as you finish your plate ;). The schnitzel was very tasty, well breaded, good quality meat (tender and not fibrous). The fries were crispy and very flavorful. Only with the spaetzle did I have the feeling that they were not homemade (had an industrial factor). The service team was extremely friendly and on the ball. The ambience has been significantly improved since my last visit, rustic, modern and cozy. Unfortunately half of the restaurant consists of one very large room, it is a bit louder and noisy. In my opinion, this can be neglected, which is why it still gets 5 stars.

Very large portions, with good quality at the same time! Large selection... there is something for everyone... crepes with vanilla ice cream as dessert on the house! Where else is that?! Only recommended! The owner is rightly called the Schnitzel King

We had reserved a table and after waiting 45 minutes the kitchen realized that there was no more meat. Unfortunately it was our first and last visit.

We were there for the first and last time... The food came quite quickly, but it wasn't tasty. The meat was either too dry or still raw. The leaf salad was without dressing. On the other hand, cabbage and potato salad were swimming in broth. The drinks were not listed on the menu. All drinks cost a flat rate of €4.10, including a small drink! The staff was annoyed and had no understanding for our small children. There was a dessert on the house, which also didn't score points. Conclusion: We cannot recommend it! We can't understand the good reviews at all.

Immediately felt comfortable. Super nice staff, delicious food and very nicely decorated. We ate burgers and turkey schnitzel :). Will come again and can only recommend it.

I was able to celebrate my birthday here yesterday, Easter Saturday. The food was very tasty (schnitzel platter for 2 people) and very plentiful. We had 2 plates for 6 people. We didn't manage to do everything, but we were able to take the rest with us. The service staff is very nice and accommodating. Thank you very much... always welcome.

In my burger, the meat and bacon were fried too long, so the whole thing was quite dry.

The service was very nice, but the meat, bacon and rolls on the burger were burnt, so everything was very dry and didn't really taste that good. But the fries were still good... they apparently have someone new in the kitchen, but the €16 for the quality isn't worth it

Nice, very spacious restaurant with XXL portions. Dessert is also included for free with the huge schnitzel. Highly recommended for those who are very hungry and delicious too 😋

Super nice staff, very quick service, lovingly decorated old rifle house, food very tasty, the "Jakobiner" salad with about 4-5 perfectly fried pieces of beef. Dessert is always on the house: pancake roll with ice cream, chocolate sauce and cookie crumbles - the pancakes were somehow dry, strange dough.

In principle everything works. The side salad wasn't really dressed. Too much vinegar. It's a matter of taste, but if the vinegar taste is overpowering, it's not good. Tomato decoration on the fatty starter was old and not fresh. Otherwise everything was fine.

The food is delicious. The dessert, which is on the house, isn't that great. The ambience is very nicely decorated. The staff was friendly and nice. If you're very hungry, you've come to the right place, the only problem with the schnitzel is that the plates are too small :-)

Very tasty food. Service was attentive and the portions were very generous. The toilets were clean, but still had the charm of the eighties :-) Unfortunately no changing table.

We were really looking forward to it because of the reviews but were really disappointed. Ordered onion roast and tried to eat. A disaster in terms of taste. ACTUALLY THE WORST I've ever eaten or tried to eat, which I gave up halfway through because something (probably the Pratensauce) tasted very sour.. really hurt given the price. Were there for the first and last time. A pity.. I could write more but that would be too much!!! Really very disappointing...

Haben heute mal wieder sehr lecker beim xxl food zum Schützen gegessen. Tischreservierung hat gleich mal super geklappt, haben ein nettes gemütliches Plätzchen als Familie bekommen. Die Bedienungen waren beide sehr nett und aufmerksam. Die Essensbestellung ging zügig, nicht mal die Kinder sind quengelig geworden dickes Plus. Alle Menüs waren richtig lecker zubereitet und geschmacklich hervorragend. Ein Lob auch hier an die Küche. Hier eine klare Weiterempfehlung. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Essen war reichlich, XXL Like. Sehr lecker und auch der Nachtisch aufs Haus war sehr lecker. Wir kommen wieder...

Gutes Essen, sehr nett bedient worden.

Wir sind schon mehrfach hier gewesen und haben das Restaurant bisher an viele Freunde empfohlen. Umso enttäuschender war unser letzter Besuch. Bei der Bestellung kam es zu einem Fehler von der Küche. Uns wurde ein günstigeres Schnitzel gebracht und wir mussten trotzdem den höheren Preis bezahlen. Sehr schade, dass man uns hier nicht entgegenkommen ist. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und bemüht und konnte natürlich nichts für die Entscheidung des Chefs.

Waren im Juli das erste mal da. War soweit ganz gut. Sie Schnitzel sind Mega groß, und lecker. Die anderen Sachen eher normaler Durchschnitt. Preis Leistung ist war ok. Das Personal war freundlich, und das Essen wurde schnell an Tisch gebracht.

Wenn man im Schützen essen geht, sollte man sehr viel Hunger mitbringen, die Portionen da sind sehr Groß und das Essen wird schnell serviert. Ich finde das Schützenhaus einfach Top

Wir sind immer wieder begeistert was man alles bekommt für wenig Geld. Jedesmal wenn wir dort hingehen freuen wir uns auf das Essen dort und wir wurden noch nie enttäuscht weder vom Essen oder von den mega netten Bedingungen. Was das beste ist es wird immer ein Dessert aufs Haus angeboten. Wir können jedem eine Besuch dort empfehlen vor allem denjenigen die Schnitzel, Burger und Co. lieben.

Super XXL Restaurant, für jeden was leckeres dabei und als Gruppe ab 4 Personen ist das Monterschnitzel sehr zu empfehlen.

Egal ob Putenschnitzel XXL oder Salat mit Rinder Streifen. Qualität super. Bis bald

Große Portionen, sehr gutes Schnitzel. Beim Cordon Bleu kann es mal trocken sein jedoch trotzdem gelungen. Glaube den XXL Burger (800gr) muss man wahrscheinlich im voraus ankündigen, habe den jetzt bereits 2x Mal nicht mehr bekommen, da er aus war. Eignet sich hervorragend für Vereinsessen mit mehreren Leuten (Reservierung hilft hier einem und der Küche!)

Griechische Woche, nur zu empfehlen !!!!!

Schon öfter dort gewesen, essen war immer lecker. Ein Besuch lohnt sich.

Unser Essen (Burger, Cordon Bleu, Wirtshausfladen) war sehr lecker! Wir haben es allerdings mitgenommen und zu Hause gegessen. Die Pommes waren gut gewürzt und besonders positiv hervorzuheben sind die Rahm- und Bratensauce! Leider gibt es keine Liefermöglichkeit und auch keine Website, auf der man sich die Karte anschauen kann! Deswegen auch nur 4 Sterne! Die Speisekarte habe ich beigefügt 😉 mittlerweile kosten die Gerichte um die 1-2 Euro mehr...

Essen war gut. Die zusätzlichen Kosten für einen Beilagenwechsel ( Pommes statt Spätzle oder umgekehrt) ist meiner Meinung nach völlig überzogen und unnötig.

Einfach nur Klasse, bester Rostbraten weit und breit. Wer Top Qualität für faire Preise will, ist hier genau richtig!

Ausreichend Auswahl an Gerichten. Bedienung sehr aufmerksam, schnell und freundlich. Essen schmeckt sehr gut, riesige Portion zu angemessenem Preisen.

Super freundliches, aufmerksames Personal. Das Essen war mega lecker. Wir hatten einen Zwiebelrostbraten medium, einen Rahmrostbraten, ein Cordon Bleu und ein Schnitzel gefüllt mit Speck und Zwiebeln dazu jeder einen Beilagensalat. Die Portionen sind mehr als ausreichend 😄

Wir waren heute das erste Mal hier, leider. Wir hätten schon viel eher hier essen sollen. Absolut leckeres Essen, sehr freundliche und flotte Bedienung. Der Rostbraten war einfach phänomenal, sowohl von der Größe als auch vom Geschmack, einfach traumhaft. Preislich völlig okay. Wir werden jetzt öfter hier zu Besuch sein, ganz sicher.
