Down in the vaulted cellar, it smells absolutely musty, and it gave me an allergy attack. The walls are simply damp down there. I'm sure you're not supposed to breathe in the spores. The others noticed the smell, too. On top of that, it's expensive and not tasty. You pay over 20 euros for lentils with unseasoned, hard potatoes and a small drink. The service is friendly. I still won't be coming back.

It was our first time at the "Hirsch," but not our last! The waiters were very friendly and attentive, constantly checking to see if everything was okay. The food was plentiful and delicious, and the salad buffet was very varied. Excellent value for money. The calculations on the last page of the menu are also very informative. You can see what a host has to manage with the income from catering.

A convenient location in the center of Rottenburg. The atmosphere is beautiful and well-kept, even outside, in the beer garden. The service is prompt, very friendly, and attentive. The best meal so far on my bike tour along the Neckar River. It was my first time trying typical regional food, and I have to say, everything was delicious. The service, specifically the two girls who served us outside, was so quick and super friendly. Tip: Beer drinkers, try the dark stag. It's only available here and is incredibly delicious.

Best German cuisine. We have been there several times and as always it was very good. Very friendly staff takes care of the guests. It's a shame there aren't 6 stars. 🙂

Beautiful old restaurant in the heart of Rottenburg, with hearty, delicious dishes as well as good home cooking. The in-house beers are also highly recommended. The entire staff is friendly, on top of their game and well prepared for any influx of guests. Drinks and food were received promptly, served quickly and tastefully prepared. A reservation is always recommended due to the good attendance, which speaks for itself. It was super tasty, very pleasant there, clear recommendation. We'll definitely come back.

Stress from the very first minute, even though it's 8:30 p.m. on a Saturday night. Please order quickly, eat quickly, and leave quickly. Tables are cleared while you're eating, and you're expected to pay from 9:30 p.m. onwards so you can leave before 10:00 p.m. Nobody needs this kind of thing.

The dishes marked accordingly on the menu guarantee regional origin, sustainability and fresh preparation. My onion roast, which was perfectly fried upon request, impressed with very good meat quality, braised and fried onions and dark, aromatic gravy - the hand-scraped, buttered spaetzle made the experience perfect. In summer temperatures, a fresh, yeast-cloudy Hirsch beer tastes great. My wife was able to try the entire range of Swabian regional cuisine with the Swabian plate she ordered: delicious potato salad, spaetzle, Maultäschle, meat patties with fried onions and gravy. Conclusion: Very good traditional cuisine in a calm, cozy inn atmosphere at reasonable prices.

This was our second time there. The service was always very courteous and nice. The food also came to the table very quickly and hot. The meat was on point and the rest was also very tasty. We were traveling nearby today and stopped there for lunch thanks to Google. The economy was 85% full of diners. And that was on a Wednesday at lunchtime. I didn't ask, but all the salads looked homemade. There is an extra star for this. Service: So on the ball, super friendly. Drinks after 3 minutes at the table, food after a maximum of 15 minutes. And that at 85% capacity. RESPECT. Ambience: A really cozy restaurant in the middle of the old town center. The price-performance ratio is absolutely right. You immediately feel comfortable and in good hands.

We were guests once at the weekend with a group of 10 and a group of 15. As someone who works in the catering industry myself and knows how challenging the industry can be, I can only say hats off! Exactly what you expect from a good Swabian inn. Down-to-earth, pleasant and hospitable service. I have rarely eaten an onion roast roast that was cooked so perfectly when I was out. There was no one we had to complain about, all the dishes were exactly as they should be. I'm really looking forward to my next visit when I end up in Rottenburg again.

Such a failure, we just ate badly. The meat cakes probably came shrink-wrapped from the discount store, the gravy from the package and the spaetzle had also seen better days. No wonder the economy was sparsely occupied. Too bad. Even the friendly service can't fix that

Everything was delicious! The service was very friendly and rather fast, considering the number of guests. The atmosphere is cozy, it is especially nice to sit on the terrace on a summer day. In a women's toilet there is a basket with hygiene products, which I find very considerate and sweet. It's not the cheapest place but fair prices for big portions with tasty food. Their home-brewed beer tastes good too. Totally recommend!

This store is very well run. You notice it everywhere. Lots of staff, good mood, clean, well decorated, extras in the toilet, etc. There's a lot of love in it. The food is very good and traditional Swabian but with a unique touch. The prices are a little higher, but the menu offers smaller portions for almost all dishes and there are also many cheaper dishes. So you can also eat here economically for €25. The portions are generous and it was quick even when the store was full. I'm completely impressed and will come back.

When it comes to the ambience, I unfortunately have to say the beer garden is nice, but the main street is already very loud and pedestrians walk past the tables a meter higher up, which is quite unpleasant. But inside it looks very comfortable.
