Beautiful, cozy beer garden, with a lovely, rustic hunting-inspired interior. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. We'll be back.

Cozy pub in hunter style! Top food and good service. When the weather is nice, there is also a beer garden outside, but you should make a reservation.

We had dinner in the beer garden. Which was very comfortable. The food was good. We had roulade and sauerbraten. The portions were huge. Unfortunately there was no room for dessert. The staff were friendly and attentive.

A very beautiful and pleasant space, namely the Biergarten where you can enjoy a well-prepared, typically German meal. The portions are more than enough for one person, even if you are a big eater.

Good rustic traditional German food

As a guest you feel very welcome here. Even without a reservation, we were warmly welcomed and served. The service was courteous, quick and friendly. The food was simply fantastic, very large portions and absolutely delicious. This is what good home cooking should be like. We can absolutely recommend the restaurant and would be happy to come back. Very nice and cozy restaurant in Dresden. We came spontaneously and got a table straight away. The restaurant is not very big, but is very cozy and interestingly decorated like an old shooting house. We arrived after 10pm, but the kitchen was operational and we were able to order the soups - unbelievable!!! The food is delicious and the portions are really good. The beer is super tasty, there are many different types of beer. Be careful, the small beer portion is 0.4L, the medium is 0.75L and the large is 1.5L. There are also very tasty different types of liquor and schnapps. The rental workers are quick, nice and helpful. I can only recommend this restaurant. The next time I'm in Dresden, I'll be happy to come back.

We didn't make a mistake when choosing the restaurant! Excellent cuisine. A few minutes walk away from the tourist routes. The only disadvantage - portions too large😉.

Friendly service and nice location in the beer garden. The two of us were there for lunch on Easter Sunday and had made a reservation for 1 p.m. The beer garden was not fully occupied. After 45 minutes we asked when the dinner was coming. According to service, everything is full. After 1 1/4 hours the food finally came. Unfortunately the red cabbage was cold during the sauerbraten. After complaining, the service was slightly annoyed and there was no apology. The red cabbage was warm, but the dumplings and sauerbraten were barely lukewarm. The garnish wilted (microwave?) No apology from the staff. The taste of the food was quite good but for the price you can definitely expect more. We left disappointed. Really a shame.

Reservation is recommended. Very well attended. Friendly reception and service. Also with humor. We are repeat offenders. The quality is obviously appreciated by many. Consistent and very, very good. Shank is for very hungry people... crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. 100%! Homemade dumplings, where else can you find them? Small beer 0.4 next level 0.75l in the mug.

A very nice rustic atmosphere. There were six of us there and we ordered different meals. Everyone enjoyed it wonderfully. One person from our group even said: "I have never eaten such a good and crispy pork knuckle as I did here." Another had the Riesenschnitzel, it was really huge and very good. Afterwards there were really delicious ice cream sundaes, wonderful coffee and various drinks of course. It was a very nice experience and if we didn't live 500km away, this would definitely be our local pub. Many thanks to the nice staff.

I had dinner a few years ago in this restaurant together with a group of Italian colleagues. I remember that they forced me to take the shank, which I digested after "a few months". The other evening a German colleague took me to dinner here again, explaining that it is a place where you can taste typical Dresden cuisine. The room features hunting trophies and a wall frescoed with hunting scenes. For being in Germany, accustomed to Italian cuisine, I had dinner too well and certainly better than when I had the shank. The only thing I didn't appreciate was the table without a tablecloth. For the rest I would return to this restaurant for dinner again.

It was so-so out of 4 dishes, 1 was good. The sauerbraten was much too dry and the side dishes were okay. Schnitzel fried way too dark. Service not ok from one lady not good.

I'm here for the 2nd time. I really have to praise the food and service here. Fast, courteous, not intrusive... just the way it should be. Some other restaurateurs can learn a lot here. Prices are absolutely in the green these days. Keep it up 💪👍

I have never experienced such excellent service. When the very nice and courteous waitress asks us if we would like some more sauce, then you know that someone is doing their work with LOVE. And then the absolutely excellent food – simply AMAZING! A greeting to the kitchen goes out. TOP CLASS!

Food seemed to be of good quality, I missed the pizzazz. Price okay We were greeted by a totally unfriendly waitress who didn't want to serve us or let us go to our table 20 minutes before we made our reservation. We would have liked to have treated ourselves to a warm drink. When I asked about the table that was offered and the colleague who wasn't there, there were rolled eyes and an annoyed answer. We felt a bit out of place in the room and were at a loss and then apparently it was the wrong table even though we had reported the name and number of people correctly There were guests there, all the staff were in a meeting, there were children... it didn't seem too important Not willingly again!

I can only say positive things about this place and give my recommendation. The food was spectacular and the ambience was fantastic. If you like good German cuisine, you should definitely come here.

First of all, a big thank you to the team on site! My work colleague and I had dinner here yesterday and were very satisfied. We both had the cheese soup as a starter from the daily recommendation. Very velvety in taste, a fine spice from the cheese... rounded off with a slight spiciness! A product of joy to start with! In the main course my colleague had a wonderful pork knuckle, the rind cracked so much that even the table next door could hear it. Mustard is one of them, which was also there. Thuringian dumplings and fine sauerkraut. The dumplings were super fluffy and the bread butter was great to put in them. I made do with a lamb shank...also from the daily recommendation, with bacon beans and Bohemian dumplings (unfortunately not homemade), although it was a great product. Everything's been great up to this point...Now there are little buts...and that's complaining at a high level and we told the staff that personally. My bacon beans would have been enough for 3 portions, and it would have been nice to have a storage plate for the bones from the start...! Of course there was then upon request. The dessert included baked apple rings with vanilla sauce and I treated myself to a semi-liquid chocolate cake with sorbet and cream! Unfortunately, my chocolate cake is a purchased finished product and unfortunately it wasn't liquid either. I gave it a second try. This was done without complaint! Unfortunately it didn't work the second time either... we or I took it sportily because everything was convincing in terms of taste. People always say that we as restaurateurs are the worst guests because we are also the toughest critics...! Yes, that's true...but we also give honest feedback! I can only say this much...we had a lovely time with you, good food and pleasant service. Maybe next time not necessarily the “cat table”...you know what I mean! I wish you all the best and greet you as a professional colleague

Quaint inn in the heart of Dresden. I recommend booking a table at any time of the day. There's a lot going on here, especially in the evening. Service was nice and friendly. The food was brought relatively quickly. The drinks were well chilled. We were completely satisfied and can't offer any criticism. We will definitely come back.

Basically, the food there has always been good, but today it was bad. But I got a dessert “for free” :) Another small note... I'm a head waiter myself, the three ladies in service weren't paying attention. The hut is full and they always take turns smoking. In front of the entrance door, an absolute NO GO! Not in front of the door! Even the kitchen :( You had to wait a long time before someone came because you would have liked to have another drink, that's not possible. It's your job first and foremost! Afterwards and later you can take care of your well-being.

We ordered the giant schnitzel, 29.95 piece. The portion of fries and the salad were also slightly larger, it seemed. The taste was delicious and the meat was delicious. The soup beforehand was also delicious. Highly recommended if you are in Dresden.

We were in the restaurant for the second time in a row between or around the holidays. The food was great! You certainly can't blame the restaurant for coffee machines that don't work between holidays. But what was noticeable for the second time in a row was the strain on the employees. Maybe that's just the Saxon friendliness that came through there, I don't know. The shooting house is definitely a recommendation!

We decided to eat there at short notice. Called in the afternoon and after a short consultation two places were reserved. The restaurant was full in every room. The staff was still very friendly and the food came quickly and was tasty. We can only recommend the restaurant.

We spontaneously came here for dinner today as we were on a day trip to Dresden. - The atmosphere is super nice and cozy - The staff is friendly, open-minded and responds to special requests - The food is so damn delicious We had the garlic bread as a starter and the following main courses: Roast smoked pork, grilled sausages with sauerkraut and puree Neck steak with fried potatoes and braised onions

From making the reservation to leaving, we were completely happy. We went to the cool inn on New Year's Eve, damn delicious. Thank you for the all-round successful evening. We'll definitely be back.

Food very good. Appropriate ambience. Hunting utensils and hunting trophies hang on the walls. If you like it a little rustic, this is the place for you. If the weather is good, there are seats outside. Company parties are also organized. Buffet is not always possible. A small selection from the menu is then offered à la card. If there are several celebrations around Christmas time, the drinks don't go quite so quickly. My roast venison was rather stringy. That wasn't the case in the past. But every deer has a bad day.

Today we had dinner and drinks in the restaurant for our birthday. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Empty glasses were recognized immediately and the waiter was always at our side. The menu includes Saxon cuisine, pasta and delicious salads. Special requests were not ignored. The food isn't exactly cheap and some of the food wasn't of the desired quality. It was a nice evening, but we'll choose a different restaurant for dinner next time.

Great guest room. It's actually hard to describe, it has to be seen to be believed. From hunting trophies to wall paintings to one or two rather unusual figures in the windowsill. Food was good, service too. Only one less table here and there would have done the trick. It was pretty tight here and there.
