The service and food were very good 👍 and we even got a seat. The restaurant is very busy on Sundays, which also shows that guests like to come. A clear recommendation from me, only the ambience needs an overhaul.

Our first time in paradise and certainly not the last!! The smell of the grill increased our appetite, and we hadn't yet taken off our jackets and sat down! 😄 During the week and well attended, we were warmly welcomed and served quickly. Be it the drink, the starter or the main meal! Location is a bit old, but it didn't affect our feel-good factor. 😊 I had the beef liver with gyros and fries! The liver was tender, not fried to death and the gyros were juicy and very tasty. The plates weren't overly overfilled, we were well full with the starter and main course. ☺️ A lovely evening, in a cozy atmosphere and very friendly service! We felt comfortable here today and will be happy to come back!! Greetings to the entire team! 😊

We ate here on a Sunday lunch and were really impressed. The delicious smell of the grill that hits your nose when you enter makes you really want to eat. The portions were large and tasty, and the price was also absolutely good. Toilets are clean and well maintained, the staff are friendly and accommodating. Every little thing is calculated. Even a replacement meal that was promised over the phone without fries was charged at once. If they give you something wrong (pick up), they expect it to be returned when the correct food is picked up. Stinginess in its final stage...

Best Greek restaurant in the area.

The positive first: food good The negative: Service from all of us sucked. We sat for ages until I was able to grab one of the birds and order something to drink. Apparently they are the only ones in the world who don't live off the drinks. Salad came, dishes from the starter were still there. The main course arrived, the table was still full of salad and drinks. METAXA SAUCE: It was a better cream sauce that seemed to have the Metaxa near the pot. Worst Metaxa sauce around Luckily we were invited. Let's come.

Super good food. There is nothing to complain about in terms of quality. Portions are sufficient and very tasty. Staff consistently friendly and accommodating... would be happy to come back.

We were there at the beginning of September with 4 people and had made a reservation for outside, according to the waiter he couldn't find the reservation anymore and we should go inside, which we finally accepted because everyone was hungry. Since we have eaten there every now and then over the years and have always been satisfied, this time it was a real disappointment. The grilled pepperoni was coated with an indefinable mass that also tasted slightly sour (according to the waiter, that was supposed to be the garlic). Two skewers were completely cooked through, and the grill plates weren't much better either. As mentioned above, it used to be really good there, but we won't be eating there again in the future.

Mit 6 Freunden nach Reservierung ungestört im hintersten Eck gesessen. Blick über den ganzen Raum. Leckeres Essen vom Grill - da kann man auch zuschauen wie alles frisch zubereitet wird. Hatte den Feinschmecker Teller mit 5 Sorten Fleisch. Wir waren alle zufrieden, es ist das Stammlokal eines meiner Freunde. Preise im mittleren Bereich.

Food tastes good, starters and drinks arrived quickly. Unfortunately, as with the previous times we were there, the main course took far too long. We had to wait almost two hours. It's better to serve fewer customers in one evening than to have many dissatisfied customers... Waitress seemed very stressed and then unfriendly.

Had dinner there last Friday and ordered a table outside (4 people). Apparently the waiter couldn't find the reservation and all tables were already reserved. We've been going there sporadically for years, but things have deteriorated so much that this was our last visit there. Salad from the can, the grilled peppers almost drowned in the garlic cream slapped on top or whatever it might have been, the meat was completely fried (but the main thing was a lettuce leaf with 2 slices of orange on the plate) and the few fries were almost on the small plate lost. There are definitely much better Greeks in the area around Frankenthal who value quality and freshness (see olive tree in Heßheim, for example).

Staff is friendly, the food is more bad than good... The waiting time is underground. The table was reserved at 5 p.m. At 6:35 p.m. the food wasn't there yet. Unfortunately not recommended. Food was dry - oily and raw!

We had to wait 1.5 hours for the food and had to watch as other guests who came after us got their food. We didn't find it convincing in terms of taste either. We won't eat here again.

Unfortunately not to our taste, never had a Greek meal that was so bad, grilled peppers only tasted like vinegar, huge shreds of gyros but totally dry, stuffed fillet rolls totally dry, bifteki very oily. So 3 times no. A pity. While clearing up - we mentioned a few things. The service ran away with "ah yes u.haha 👎👎👎

A great service. I had ordered a table for 6 people. We were warmly welcomed. We all liked the salad very much. We ordered a Balkan platter as the main course. The two of us didn't quite finish the delicious meal. Plenty of large portions. Every wish was fulfilled. We ate ice cream for dessert. The wait staff was busy but they always had a smile on their faces. They did a good job. It was a lovely evening. We will definitely be back.

We stumbled upon this great little family restaurant for lunch one day. The menu is extensive and the food is extremely good. It’s a great blend between German and Greek specialties. I enjoyed a great fresh salad with the main course of rump steak and a side of fried mashed Potato fritters.

Visit from February 2nd, 2024 My goodness, at first glance the menu was "unchanged", i.e. because of the reintroduction of the 19% VAT. The surprise came on the plate... the portions have shrunk significantly... Last year you thought to yourself... There are many Greek restaurants in Haßloch and ONLY the restaurant "Bacchus" -Pälzer Buwe" is included.... No nonsense: you will enjoy it!!! And special requests are very happy to be fulfilled... 😃👍

We ordered food today and picked it up. As always, the food was very tasty. I just think you should check the prices on the menu online. If there e.g. B. Bifteki is offered for 13.50 euros and 16 euros is charged when you pick it up, which is a little strange. The second meal was also 2.00 euros more expensive.

Das Paradies war mal eins meiner Lieblings Restaurants. Leider hat die Qualität vom Essen stark nachgelassen , was ich bereits 2 mal erfahren musste. Schade !

Lange waren wir nicht mehr hier, ohne sagen zu können, warum das so war. Endlich hatten wir es mal wieder geschafft. Wir kennen die Wirtin schon seit vielen Jahren und waren jedesmal mehr als begeistert von dem hervorragenden Essen. Das großzügige und typisch griechische Ambiente des Lokals und vor allem die Herzlichkeit der Wirtin prägen dieses Lokal. Hatte ich schon erwähnt, dass das Essen großartig ist? Das ist es und deswegen kommen wir auch wieder, auch wenn, und das ist der einzige Wehrmutstropfen, es keinen barrierefreien Zugang zum Restaurant gibt. Mit den Jahren und den dadurch auftretenden Behinderungen lernt man dies doch mehr und mehr zu schätzen.

Kurz entschlossen haben wir das Paradies besucht. Wir waren schon Jahre lang nicht mehr da. An der Einrichtung hat sich nichts geändert, aber auch am Essen nichts. Das war wie immer sehr lecker und das ist das wichtigste.

Wir gehen seit Jahren dort essen, die letzten Male war es allerdings nicht mehr so lecker wie früher. Zudem sind die Portionen extrem geschrumpft + der Preis ist hoch gegangen. Das war gestern das letzte Mal für uns!

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit guten Parkmöglichkeiten in den umliegenden Strassen. Faire Preise und sehr leckeres Essen. Superlecker fanden wir die Suzukakia, die hervorragend gewürzt waren. Service war auch sehr nett und wir wurden sehr gut unsorgt. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen. Danke ans Team. Etwas unschön fanden wir, dass wir uns (nach Nachfrage ob frei) an einen frei gewordenen Tisch im Aussenbereich setzten und, kaum saßen wir, doch in den Innenbereich mussten da der Tisch bereits vergeben sei. Nicht so super, aber das kann passieren. Kein Drama.

Nicht zu empfehlen, der Oberkellner ist extrem unfreundlich, er hat seine Lieblingsgäste mit denen er scherzt und lacht, ansonsten sind die Gäste nur zahlende Staturen, die gefälligst in Ruhe warten sollen. Wir standen tatsächlich einige Zeit bis wir uns setzen durften und das trotz Reservierung auch nur draußen. Der Bereich ist zwar überdacht, dennoch hat es leicht reingeregnet. Hätten wir nicht so Hunger gehabt, wären wir sicher wieder gegangen. Die Auswahl an Essen ist ganz gut, um zu Bestellen muss man allerdings auf sich aufmerksam machen. Dann haben wir leider fast zwei Stunden auf unser Essen gewartet, während ein Gästepaar, das nach uns kam schon längst Nachtisch und die Rechnung hatte. Das Restaurant war an dem Abend in der Tat voller besucht, aber sie scheinen es nicht geregelt zu bekommen das Essen strukturiert zu machen und den sehr hungrigen Gästen zu bringen. So lange haben wir noch nicht auf unser Essen warten müssen! Geschmacklich ist das Essen dann allerdings recht gut gewesen, aber sehr kleine Portionen, wodurch nicht alle von uns sind satt geworden....

Sehr schönes Ambiente, freundliches Personal und leckeres Essen mehr braucht man nicht

Es war mal besser. Lange Wartezeit zu wenig Personal. Das dreckige Geschirr stand lange auf den Tischen, erst auf Anfrage ob es bitte abgeräumt werden konnte wurde es weggeräumt und das zweimal. Das Essen war ok teilweise trocken, das Lammkotelett war winzig eigentlich ein Witz. Die Pommes ließ auch zu wünschen übrig, wurde wahrscheinlich 2x frittiert, zu ölig und dunkel.

War alles ausgezeichnet, Essen war gut und Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Kann man ohne Probleme weiterempfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Bevor wir einen Tisch bekommen haben, wurden wir zunächst hingewiesen, wann sie schließen und dass wir bis dahin auch fertig sein sollten. Wir waren allerdings nicht der letzte Tisch, der gegangen ist. Eben eine Fusion aus Pfälzer und griechischer „Gastfreundschaft“. Die hausgemachte Hühnersuppe war eindeutig hausgemacht. Aber obwohl die Brühe selbst sehr lecker war, zeigte sie leider auch die absolute Lustlosigkeit hinter und vor den Kulissen. Die Einlagen (z.T. noch mit Knochensplitter) waren lustlos präsentiert. Nicht mal die gekochte Hühnerhaut oder Knorpel wurden entfernt. Fleisch zerfleddert, statt schön geschnitten. Am Grill genau das Gegenteil: ein Koch, dem die Arbeit Spaß machte. Es machte einem als Gast Spaß ihm beim Grillen zuzugucken und beim Singen zuzuhören. Liebe geht durch den Magen. Dass er Liebe beim Grillen hatte, schmeckte man heraus. Große Portionen. Gut gewürzt. Am Schluss gab es sogar griechischen Kaffee. Zwar nicht so, wie man es angefragt hat. Aber ok. Eben genauso wie in Griechenland!

War heut das erste Mal mit Freunden da. Das Restaurant wurde uns empfohlen. Ich kann sagen es ist mehr als nur einen Besuch wert. 5 Sterne fürs Essen 5 Sterne für die Sauberkeit 5 Sterne für den Service 5 Sterne für die freundlichkeit Es war alles super, qualitativ hochwertige Speisen und Verarbeitung mit Blick auf die Grillstation Gyros frisch vom Drehspies super lecker.
