We were there recently with 4 people (mid-September) and we had reserved but there were still enough free places in the beer garden. The service was quick and friendly. The food was quite good so far, but we didn't like a few little things, otherwise it would have been very good. The garlic bread was too soft for me, we tried the fried champions, but whether you like that is a matter of taste. The small farmer's salad was good, but contained a lot of cucumber, I know the one with coleslaw and white beans. I didn't try the gyros myself but it would have been dry and soggy. Otherwise everything was fine. A small note: despite the navigation system, we drove past the entrance to the parking lot, which is easy to miss.

Service was very good, very friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty and I can only recommend it. Ambiance is appealing indoors and outdoors. There are enough parking spaces available. It is also handicapped accessible.

Been here several times and it's always delicious. Unfortunately that wasn't the case today. Service and friendliness were top 👌🏼. Minced meat was very soft, sirloin with cartilage and the lamb was ultra dry. Meat quality in general was extremely poor. I'm really not sure whether we'll come back given the number of Greeks in Frankenthal. It's a shame about the beautiful beer garden

Very tasty food. Unfortunately they took my favorite ox skewer off the menu. We had a delicious meal again. It just tastes great. Today we had the opportunity to enjoy the nice weather in the beer garden.

Was my favorite restaurant when I still ate meat. However, the fries and salad are also a hit! I would still be very happy about a few more vegetarian things. My parents have been visiting the restaurant for years and are very satisfied.

I have been in the Jahnstube with my family for as long as I can remember. I'm now almost 30 and am married with a child and wanted to bring a bit of tradition into the "new family". However, I noticed that the restaurant has gone downhill since Corona. The portions are much, much smaller. The prices are much higher. Today I had my Jahnstuben plate, as I always have for years. There was so little gyro on the plate as well as the fries. So every visit becomes less attractive little by little. I'm no longer as excited about the idea of ​​going to the Jahnstube as I used to be. At the moment I'm going there out of habit, but not because I'm as convinced as I used to be. I hope you find the curve again otherwise you have lost a long line of family...

We have been there many times and have always been completely satisfied. The food is very tasty, always freshly grilled and the portions are really sufficient. We would particularly like to mention the pepperoni in garlic sauce, for us the best pepperoni there is. The garden is very cozy and it's really nice to sit there. The service is friendly and the price-performance ratio is reasonable. There are enough free parking spaces on site. We will always come back and look forward to it.

Das Essen schmeckte wie immer gut (sehr gewürzt) und es sind große Portionen. Doch leider empfand ich unseren letzten Besuch eher als Abfertigung. Es ist ja schön, wenn man nicht soo lange auf sein Essen warten muss, doch ich fühlte mich richtig gehetzt. Die Vorspeisen waren noch nicht gegessen, da wurden auch schon die Beilagensalate gebracht und auch diese konnte man nicht wirklich gemütlich und in Ruhe genießen, denn da wurde auch schon das Hauptgericht serviert. Wir waren 9 Personen mit Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichte und waren innerhalb von 1 Stunde durch. Es ist schon löblich, dass der Service auf Zack ist, doch ein bisschen Gemütlichkeit wäre schon schön gewesen.

Wie im Thema. Dieses Restaurant wiederspiegelt die durchschnittlichen griechischen Restaurants in Deutschland. Nicht Besonders besten Zutaten werden in langweiliger Art zubereitet. Ich finde die deutsche Gatronomie hat den Ruf der griechieschen Küche etwas verschlechtert. Es ist ywar günstig und viel aber es schmeckt nicht. Bier war gut. Gute und nett Bedienung. BofG - Wiederkommen/Empfehlungsfaktor (0-100%): 30% ich würde hier eher nur zum Bier wiederkommen.

Update: Visit from March 16, 2023 On the last visit there was a plate with chicken, lamb and a "skewer"... The "skewer" consisted of pressed meat. No structure of “normal” pork. In addition, the “piece” of KCERD probably came from the deep fryer. Terrible. After I and my wife tested it, we still had this horrible taste in our mouths until the next morning. The yogurt dressing tastes like mayonaise, the house dressing like ready-made dressing from the discount store. Phew. -------------------- Mom, dad and 2 children Friday 6:00 p.m.... it was pretty full, we were probably lucky that there was still a table for us... The ceiling of the guest room is quite high, as shown in other pictures... We were warmly welcomed, everything was friendly, everything was OK. The food... beautifully presented, we thought it was great. However, the taste was... Starter salad... had the impression that there was mayonnaise in it. Tzatziki, a little creamy, probably with a little bit of cream and a little bit of salt. Food... the mince was probably not completely cooked through, a little bit salty, easy to chew, but not particularly good. Gyros... the spies probably didn't have that long to turn/cook... also a little bit of salt... ... little salt is also good for the heart ;-) Not too expensive, but overall... not well seasoned. Hier kann man gut essen gehen. Es gibt die typischen griechischen Gerichte auf der Karte. Alles wird schnell und lecker zubereitet. Beim Ambiente gebe ich nur drei Punkte. Die Jahnstuben ist Recht groß und meistens ziemlich voll und der Geräuschpegel dementsprechend hoch. Aber aufgrund der ausgezeichneten Speisen und dem tollen Service ist die Jahnstuben eine volle Empfehlung! 👍

Ambiente ist eher alt und man fühlt nicht richtig wohl Gegrillte Peperoni sehr salzig Fleisch gut aber die Anrichteweise könnte mehr mit der Zeit gehen. Kellerin diskutiert eher als die Kritik anzunehmen Nichtsdestotrotz ein schöner Abend mit einem sehr guten Wein.

Das Essen ist perfekt . Gehe seid Jahren hier essen und muss es endlich mal loben :). Vor allem das Zaziki ist so lecker und die Champignons als Vorspeise immer ein Muss. Der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend und auch immer aufmerksam und schnell. Preise sind total in Ordnung für die riesen Menge an Essen was man bekommt. Komme gerne immer wieder .

Meiner Meinung nach nicht unbedingt der beste Grieche in Frankenthal 🤷. Die Schnecken waren jedes Mal hart, der Gyros ab und zu kalt. Das Personal ist jedoch stets bemüht.

Mann wartet lange auf sein Essen waren enttäuscht recht ungewürzt stumpfe Messer selbst lammfilet war eine Herausforderung ohne Flecken auf der Kleidung vor längerer Zeit war es dort toll

Spontan entschieden nach Frankenthal zu fahren und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Richtig gutes Essen, total netter Service und sehr faire Preise. Kommen bestimmt bald wieder.

Falsches Getränk geliefert, dann kleines anstelle großes Spezi. Das Essen - na ja, roher Knoblauch gehackt mit Paprikapulver auf kleinen, getesteten Baguette. Meine Teufelssauce auf Gyros schmeckte wie scharfe dunkle Sauce frisch aus dem Beutel. Bifteki war nicht richtig durch - wässrig. Bei den mitgelieferten Brötchen hatte man das Gefühl, dass sie aufgebacken waren.

Eine einzige Katastrophe Geschmack Qualität und Menge Man sollte da nicht hingehen man wird nur enteucht. Es war auch Mal anderst.

Wir besuchten das Restaurant an einem Sonntagabend. Das Restaurant war gut gefüllt. Die Einrichtung ist etwas „stehen geblieben“, aber nicht störend. Der Service war extrem super, die Wartezeiten auffallend kurz. Die Vorspeisen waren alle samt super, das Essen gut. Die Spieße waren sehr durchwachsen, untypisch für Griechen, das muss man mögen - wir tun es nicht. Der Rest war gut. Wir kommen dennoch wieder, ein gutes griechisches Restaurant.

Wat een heerlijk eten! Veel en lekker tegen een schappelijk prijsje. Erg vriendelijk personeel. Het restaurant is groot en te fel verlicht wat het een beetje ongezellig maakt, wat sfeerverlichting en wat meer Griekse elementen zou het knusser maken. Maar zeker een aanrader als het om het eten gaat!

Hier wird lecker gegrillt. Auch der preisgünstige Mittagstisch für den kleinen Hunger wirkt mit Liebe zubereitet. Super handgemachte Pommes. Sollte man sich öfters gönnen.

Vom guten Bewertungen inspiriert habe ich das Lokal während eines geschäftlichen Aufenthaltes aufgesucht. Die Speisekarte ist reichhaltig. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist noch o. k. Die Kellner sind wie üblich bei Griechen freundlich und sehr fix. Allerdings ist die Innenausstattung scheinbar noch original aus den sechziger Jahren und total lieblos.

Wir waren vom freundlichen Personal und dem hervorragenden Essen begeistert. Die Preise sind auch sehr moderat.

Das Essen war gut die Bedienung freundlich das Ambiente schön wir saßen im Freien und konnten den Abend genießen.

Wir sind immer gerne Montags essen gegangen, da der Sohn Hockey spielt. Leider das letzte Mal. 20 Min auf die Karten gewartet, Essen dann aufgegeben, für den Sohn auch das Essen um 20 Uhr bestellt. Die Großeltern kamen auch noch zum Essen dazu, Speisekarte hat man sich dann selbst besorgt. Organisation seit dem neuen Geschäftsführer miserabel. Wieder Getränke und Essen bestellt. Getränke nach einigen Male fragen wo sie bleiben (20 Minuten 1 Bier und 1 Schorle) und auf einen Thekenstau geschoben wurde endlich gekommen. 20:10 Sohn kam vom Training, wir saßen seit 18:30 kam immer noch kein Essen. Wieder paar Mal gefragt. Die Großeltern bekamen dann das Essen, wir nicht. 20:30 ohne Essen gegangen, leider sehr sehr enttäuscht und nur noch Kopfschüttelnd. Wenn die eigenen Mitglieder so vertrieben werden und wir waren an diesem Abend nicht die einzigsten.
