Schnitzel is ok if you don't have high expectations... my cheese spaetzles were visually great 👍 unfortunately only visually. You should definitely order sauce or a salad with it

Food was okay. Info: Payment with cash only possible. We have 09/2024. Several people then helped each other out. There was no receipt or receipt, so we paid one by one from the cash we had collected to keep track of things. We would have actually drunk a lot more and stayed longer, but we didn't have that much cash with us. Edit: It does NOT require WiFi to offer contactless card payments. 3G, 4G UMTS or 5G are sufficient for SumUp, VR Payments or many other providers. And that is available locally.

You can sit outside in the shade. You will be served at your seat, but you have to pick up the food yourself. There is a nice little menu. Despite the large number of guests, the food is ready quite quickly and tastes very good. The portion sizes are also well sized.

It was my first time eating here and what was really unusual was that you had your order taken directly at the table and paid for straight away. After ordering, you get a pager that buzzes when the food is ready to be picked up. My colleagues ordered currywurst or skewered sack and I tried half a chicken with curry which was also very good. We were very happy with the food and the service. Gladly again. 😋

I was there for the third time and, in contrast to the first visits, I wasn't completely satisfied this time. Unfortunately I had a somewhat unsuccessful Viennese-style schnitzel, the breading no longer stuck to the meat, was completely greasy and the meat itself was bone dry, which was a real shame. My partner had the potato wedges which consisted of about 2 larger potatoes and a portion of quark. These were well seasoned and the quark was also convincing, but I found the portion size a bit questionable for the 12 euros they charge. Despite all the criticism I have now made here, I would also like to mention that the events there are really good. The staff is on point and very friendly and there is nothing wrong with the “forest beer garden” atmosphere.

We went to the schnitzel buffet today on Wednesday. Everything was very tasty and fresh. We enjoyed it very much. Sitting outside under the trees, at the beautifully set table and enjoying a good, cold beer is simply nice. We've been here several times and we'll be back soon, also because of the delicious chicken and the very friendly service.

The restaurant, located on the edge of the forest and a football field, was a big disappointment for us. Staying under the trees is very pleasant and beautiful. But the food was a disaster and the service is zero. Everything is designed for self-pickup. A waitress comes to the table and asks what you want to eat and drink and immediately collects the money. before you even see the food and drink. You have to get the food yourself. And at certain times you have to bring everything to the return counter yourself. Sitting comfortably under the trees and being served is not something you can expect here. That's a real shame for a restaurant like this to operate it in a cheap canteen atmosphere.

A beautiful beer garden located right next to the football field. The ball sometimes comes flying when there is a game going on. Schnitzel was a bit dry and unfortunately the sauce was added over it. There were enough fries and a salad.

The environment is quite quiet. If you don't mind mosquitoes, you can sit outside and enjoy the garden view, which is quite relaxing!

The food was tasty, but it was way too expensive. Half chicken with fries €13.50 or schnitzel with fries €15 is incomprehensible. The children wanted ice cream for dessert. There was Domino ice cream with ice crystals, probably thawed in between for 3 euros.

Very nice beer garden with fair prices. Ideal for a detour by bike. Even in midsummer you can sit there in the shade. The half chickens in different spice mixtures are recommended.

We were at the “Valentine’s Day Menu” event. The ambience was very nice and cozy thanks to the many candlesticks or tea lights in the shape of hearts at the table. The 5 course menu was very tasty. Kararoke evening was great!!!! Unfortunately, it has happened so often that the waiter with his paper economy is overwhelmed with the orders and cashing and always knows what to collect and then comes after and draws the guest's attention to it after payment! I was there for the first time today and I'm not exactly thrilled. The Viennese style schnitzel had a full 2 ​​mm of meat between the breading. The taste was okay, but the ratio of meat to breading was not good at all. The ambience is quite nice, but it was very loud and there isn't really a quiet place. The service was friendly and attentive. The parking lot is muddy, something that needs to be addressed. The outside lighting also leaves something to be desired. For me it was that, once and not again.

We were here for a burger evening 🍔 with 7 people. The order sheets that you could use to put together your own burger were cleverly done! The burgers were very tasty and freshly prepared. So far highly recommended. But sorry, 2 hours of waiting time for 5 burgers is just too long! This cannot be excused by fresh preparation!

We were at the “burger evening” in the Waldbiergarten for the first time. Burger was okay, the ambience was like a sports store in the next room. The service was nice, but only came around sporadically. Disadvantage: You can't pay with a debit card and there was no proper receipt, just the price added up on a blank piece of paper.

The chicken and schnitzel are highly recommended here. The order is taken at the table and the drinks are served. You can pick up your food after the ordering device vibrates at the table.

Wir sind hingefahren um die Rebknorzspieße zu essen. Das war eine Katastrophe. Viel zu überwürzt und nicht gut. Der Service war auch nicht so gut.

Sehr freundlicher Service (das Auge isst mit, Männer sind aber auch nett), guter Wein und die Hähnchen genial. Immer wieder, wenn wir in der Pfalz sind. Und wir kommen familiär bedingt oft aus dem Südschwarzwald in die Pfalz. Und als Schwarzwälder genießen wir die Pfälzer Preise

Waren zum ersten Mal dort bei all you can eat Dampfnudel für 16€. Die Dampfnudeln waren super frisch. Es gab sehr gutes Gulasch und Kartoffelsuppe dazu. Kann man nur empfehlen. Das Ambiente ist etwas rustikal. Hier konzentriert man sich aufs Wesentliche: Dampfnudel 😂. Kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren heute zu Zweit dort essen. Das Lokal ist sehr schön zwischen Sportplatz und Waldrand gelegen. Die Bedienung war freundlich und schnell. Das Essen traf leider nicht unseren Geschmack. Die Pommes waren eher keksig (zu hart/durch), das halbe Klassik/Huhn fand ich extrem salzig. Mein Freund fand das Schnitzel okay aber zu fettig, wahrscheinlich kam es aus der Fritteuse. Die Bratensauce war ein Fertigprodukt. Alles in allem war es qualitativ Frittenbudenessen, wir hatten mehr Restaurantstil und Handwerk erwartet. Insgesamt: Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen, wenn wir Fastfoodgelüste hätten - dafür war es solide!. ;)

Es gibt 5 Sterne, weil ich aus der Gastro bin und die Location wirklich sehr schön gelegen ist und mein Hähnchen nebst Schorle sehr gut waren. Der Service hätte meine Bewertung aber auf 3 Sterne gedrückt,wenn ich nicht auch aus der Gastro käme und daher um die Probleme wüsste, was das Thema fähiges Servicepersonal zu bekommen angeht. Leider hatte ich am Anfang mit einer der anscheinenden Notlösungen zu tun. Meine Servicekraft ( jung und mit Brille ) konnte sich trotz dem wenigen Betrieb wirklich nichts merken ! Erstbestellung Schorle und Essen war, weil aufnotiert, OK. Der mündlich bestellte Aschenbecher und Wasser für den Hund wurde vergessen. Eine bestellte Schorle an der Theke wurde, weil Sie noch fehlendes Besteck holen musste, auch einfach vergessen. Diese Frau würde bei Vollbetrieb wirklich völlig versagen !! Anscheinend ist das Problem aufgrund der Reaktionen vom anderen Personal, bei denen ich auch hervorragend bedient wurde, bekannt. Meine Bitte an alle anderen Gäste : Bedenkt bitte, daß gerade in der Gastro coronabedingt viel fähiges Personal weggebrochen ist und es fast unmöglich ist einen guten Ersatz zu finden !!! Ich empfehle die Gaststätte auf jeden Fall weiter !!! Aussergewöhnlich sind auch die vielen kostenlosen Events und Konzerte !!!

Richtig lecker Brathähnchen in verschiedenen Varianten von Curry, Bacon oder normal. Pfälzer Küche, und vor allem super nette Bedienung. Man kann schön im freien sitzen unter den Bäumen 🌲 im Schatten oder im überdachten Bereich wenn es mal kühler wird oder sogar regnet. Früh sein lohnt sich, die Plätze sind schnell mal voll. Freitags gibt es Rebknorzespies 🥰

Wir waren letzte Woche Mittwoch das 1. Mal dort und zwar zum Schnitzel-Buffet am Mittag. Es war super organisiert, sehr freundliches Personal und mega lecker. Ebenso ist überall alles sauber. Die Mitarbeiter nahmen sich Zeit um uns die Vorgehensweise, wie auch die Auswahl am Buffet zu erklären. Wir kommen definitiv wieder und können volle 5* geben !

Man sitzt angenehm draußen unter schattenspendenden Bäumen was im Sommer sehr angenehm ist. Einziges Mango der Weinschorle wird wohl nur mit Sodawasser gemacht und schmeckt daher nicht so dolle.

Schön gelegen am Waldrand, genügend Parkplätze sind vorhanden. Hähnchen waren wieder super lecker, Preisleistung stimmt

Het eten was lekker maar je kon er niet pinnen. Het zou een Biergarten moeten zijn maar je had alleen keus uit bier en weizen. Ik had er meer van verwacht.

Das war ein echt schöner Abend in unserem Urlaub! Haben uns spontan für dieses Freiluftlokal entschieden, und Essen und Livemusik sehr genossen! Dank an die freundliche, schnelle Bedienung.

Wow die Tour hierher hat sich gelohnt ! Alle auf zack und sehr gutes Essen fein abgeschmeckt ,wer da lästert kann selber nichts , ich weiß von was ich rede ,,der Aufenthalt ist sehr gemütlich ,,leider muss ich weiter ...komme wieder..

Waren heute beim Schnitzel Buffet. Leider hat es geregnet und wir saßen im Innenbereich.Zum Glück im kleinen Nebenraum an kleinem Tisch (2 Personen). Es war etwas dunkel , braune Einrichtung. Bei 🌞 im Freien wäre bestimmt angenehmer.Personal war freundlich und schnell, Buffet wurde schnell aufgefüllt. Schnitzel, Sossen, Pommes & Bratkartoffeln incl. Salat. Das Essen war okay, Preis/Leistungsverhältnis war auch okay.

Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt bei euch, nette Bedienung, tolle Getränke und euer Knorze am Spieß war genial. Bleibt weiter so herzlich Barbara und Martin

Mein Tip: der Burger. Das Essen war schnell da, es gibt viel Bierauswahl und das junge Serviceteam ist auf Zack und freundlich.
