I've been wanting to try the Jägerheim for a while, having often walked past it. The restaurant is only open in the evenings, which is probably why it took me so long to get there. I went there with work colleagues, and we weren't disappointed. The restaurant was packed. I recommend making a reservation if you're coming with more than four people. We finally got a table (you can wait at the bar or at a reserved table until it becomes available). The owner is very attentive. The drinks took a while to arrive, but they were freshly tapped, so it's worth waiting for. The food was absolutely excellent. Very tasty, local, home-style cooking. The atmosphere was very pleasant, lively, but not so loud that you couldn't hold a conversation. We were very satisfied and will be back. Five stars, and I hope there will be a restaurant like this in Bad Schwalbach for many years to come.

Simply quaint, a fossil of old pubs. Smoke-free, with warm hospitality, good beer, and food.

It was very nice, comfortable seating. The food was very good and the portions were generous. The owner was funny and thought it was great. I'll definitely go again.

A small pub with a bar. The food is excellent, all at reasonable prices. The owner is also the waiter. Everything is relaxed. I highly recommend it, even for a good draft beer at the bar, just like in the old days.

I was very pleasantly surprised! I always thought that the Jägerheim was more of a pub where people primarily drank. That assumption was wrong, and I regret not having eaten there sooner! The schnitzel is absolutely fantastic. The salad served with it is also excellent. Of course, we're not talking about great culinary art, but a pepper schnitzel, just as it should be. The place was very busy, and without a reservation, there was only one seat left at the bar. What's striking is that the place is very clean! The decor and the English plates are debatable. But everything has its style and justification. I really enjoyed it, and I'll be back soon, happy and looking forward to the delicious schnitzel! The owner and his staff were very friendly and in a great mood. I think you should definitely make a reservation in advance!

Clocky and comfortably furnished. Very friendly, you immediately feel welcome. Tasty dishes, clean toilets. Dog is allowed.

The Jägerheim went under the radar for me for a long time. Rather inconspicuous and old-fashioned from the outside, the owner impresses with his charm and performance. The schnitzels are honest home cooking, handmade and pounded. He pays very foresight to the guests so that the glass rarely remains empty. All in all, the performance and the price are definitely right.

We were here today on Ash Wednesday for herring dinner. The herrings were nice and mild and the sauce was very tasty. The whole thing was okay in terms of price.

The staff and the landlord himself are very friendly and the price-performance ratio is also good.

The portions were not at all adapted to the size of the menu! I ate something to satisfy my hunger and got a big piece of gratinated sheep's cheese and a lot of croquettes and also a lot of cucumber slices and tomato slices and small olive halves! I didn't quite manage that! My girlfriend wanted a small schnitzel Hawai, if that was the small one, I don't want to know what the normal one or the large one looks like! She didn't quite finish hers either! The innkeeper was very polite and accommodating! The service was first class and prices were very good for these huge portions!

The food was very tasty and came relatively quickly. For the price it's definitely worth a visit! The landlord is very funny and personable. I would definitely come by again!

Sehr leckeres Essen. Haben es bisher immer nur abgeholt. Aber auch nach 10 minütigen Fahrt war es noch super frisch.Vor Ort ist es bestimmt noch besser.

Gut-bürgerliche Küche, gemütliche Atmosphäre. Hier wird noch Skat gekloppt und die Rechnung per Hand geschrieben (Achtung: keine Kartenzahlung) Super netter Inhaber, hat immer einen Spruch auf Lager.

Eine tolle, bodenständige Gastwirtschaft in der noch selbst gekocht wird, der Wirt persönlich da ist und der Gast nicht umschmeichelt wird, sondern eher Bestandteil ist. Wer gutes und ehrliches Essen in gemütlichem Ambiente mag ist hier richtig.

Wenn ich Großstadtneurotiker meine beschauliche Heimatstadt Bad Schwalbach besuche, übt das Jägerheim eine starke Anziehungskraft auf mich aus: Solche Traditionsgaststätten sind an sich Gold wert. Ein angenehmes Lokal mit Biergarten, netter Wirt, bodenständiges Publikum, garantiert hipsterfrei. Keine trendigen Küchenexperimente, sondern traditionelles Kneipenessen, hauptsächlich Schnitzel. Bei meinem letzten Besuch habe ich ein Jägerschnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln und Salat bestellt. Sodann konnte ich aus der Küche Schläge hören: Ja, das Schnitzel wurde tatsächlich frisch geklopft und paniert, es war immerhin kein Industrieprodukt. Alles andere leider schon: Der Beilagensalat war aus verschiedenen Eimern zusammengestellt und mit Fertigdressing übergossen. Die Bratkartoffeln waren sicher aus der Packung, aber geschmacklich einigermaßen in Ordnung. Die Jägersoße war aus der Tüte und schmeckte penetrant künstlich. Schade: Das Jägerschnitzel im Jägerheim ist deutsche Hausmannskost at its worst. Fazit: Als Kneipe gut, aber essen kann man anderswo besser, sicher auch im schönen Bad Schwalbach. Dass das Publikum es goutiert, sagt etwas über die Esskultur in diesem Lande aus: Die vielen positiven Rezensionen kann ich mir nur damit erklären, dass die Leute tatsächlich einfach keinen Geschmack mehr haben.

Ein Besuch beim Goli ist es immer wert. Seit langer Zeit sind wir begeisterte Gäste.. die ganze Familie isst hier in mehreren Generationen regelmäßig! Sehr kuschelig, nette und lockere Laune aller Gäste und liebes Personal. Das alles dann mal angesehen vom Essen, das ist sowieso perfekt 😉 die besten klassischen Schnitzelvarianten, ich esse nirgends lieber einen Beilagensalat als hier.

Das beste Pfefferrahmschnitzel, das ich seit Jahren gegessen habe. Die Qualität ist sehr gut. Geschmacklich top. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Freundlicher, humorvoller Wirt. Ein dickes Lob an die Küche. Das Lokal ist urig, der Biergarten sehr gemütlich. Dieses Lokal kann ich mit ruhigem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

So muss ein Dorfgasthaus sein! Leider von Außen schwer zu erkennen, dass es so gemütlich und nett innen ist, weil man als Fußgänger sich auf's Überleben konzentrieren sollte im Verkehrshorror von Bad Schwalbach....
