We had made a reservation for 14 people in advance. The restaurant was quite busy. Despite that, the service was quick and friendly. We ordered a variety of dishes from the menu... and everyone was very satisfied. We'd gladly come back anytime! 😃

Well, why hadn't I heard about this lovely restaurant before? I had to be invited! Apparently the home of the local shooting club and hunting school, the restaurant, with its solid, cozy wooden construction, immediately impresses with its warm hospitality and friendly staff. The food arrived quickly, freshly prepared, and hot, with a convincing presence of flavor. Reasonable prices.

We were here for dinner yesterday for a birthday party with 11 people. The ambiance is truly lovely and cozy. The service was attentive and empathetic. Starters arrived promptly and were beautifully presented and very tasty. The main courses took a while to arrive because the restaurant was full, but everything was still beautifully presented and delicious, so I didn't mind waiting. Very good value for money. I would definitely eat here again. Keep up the good work!

Wow!!!! I eat out often and have eaten everything from not so good to very good. But last night, it was simply heavenly!!! It was beyond excellent! Six of us were there, three had meat dishes and three had pasta dishes. All six of us were thrilled. The ambiance 👍, the service👌! The prices are a bit higher, but absolutely justified. It was worth every cent. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Very delicious food, extensive seasonal menu, with dishes you won't find everywhere. The photo shows the dessert selection, which we (the two of us) just about managed. Everything was delicious. I especially loved the tiramisu.

We were at the Hirsch on Saturday and it was excellent :) From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was great. The service was very attentive and friendly, and our granddaughter even got a lollipop. Our dog 🐕 was also welcome. We would love to come back. Many thanks to the Hirsch team.

We were there on Saturday with a reservation for 10 people. We were the only table with two small children under 6 years old. The food was good as always, and the service was very friendly... 😀 However, a two-hour wait for the main course with small children was definitely too long. 😞 We would have liked to have had dessert, but at some point even very patient children get tired of it. Too bad... unfortunately

The salad dressing was soggy, like it came from a bucket, and the Scaloppino Zingaro was equally soggy. At over €25, I would have expected better.

We were there for lunch today with eight people plus a dog. From the service (everyone was super friendly and accommodating) to the food, everything was excellent. Not pushy, but still always on top of things to see if anything was missing. Our food was simply delicious. Everyone enjoyed it. I especially loved the mushroom schnitzel with cream. Finally, a restaurant that serves them with lots of delicious mushrooms and just enough sauce. The ambiance is also really nice. Absolutely fantastic value for money. We'll definitely be back.

We've been there twice so far. Very friendly and attentive service. Guests are still treated like guests here. The food was very good, the wines were good, and the restaurant itself is cozy.

We went to the Hirschen for the first time yesterday. Yes, the food was good. Now comes the "but" for me personally. Of course, the name "Zum Hirschen" suggests a hunting-related atmosphere, and yet, when I saw that it was more Italian cuisine, I didn't expect to have deer, bucks, ...and other skulls on display staring at me from the wall all evening. So, for me, this is definitely not a restaurant I'll visit again. I also saw far too late that there was a special menu that actually had frog legs on it. Had I seen that before, I wouldn't have gone there at all. I generally boycott restaurants that serve such dishes. Frog legs are among the worst forms of harvest. I don't know what this animal cruelty has to do with Italian cuisine. It's a shame, the service was very good.

First of all, gluten-free is possible, you know what you're doing! Very friendly contact from the boss to the service. The Italian chef knew straight away what gluten-free meant, they even had gluten-free pasta upon request. The steak with (gluten-free) pepper cream sauce was excellent, medium was really medium. It was my pleasure!

It was a really great visit, even though we hadn't made a reservation, it was a busy evening and we had absolutely the wrong dress code. Nevertheless, the team welcomed us very friendly and served us very well. Within a short time the food arrived, which was absolutely perfect for both of us, as was the wine. It was a very nice atmosphere and we will definitely come by again in the correct dress code. An absolute recommendation

Yesterday the 4 of us ate at Zum Hirschen and were completely satisfied. My parents had their dog with them and we got a place that was very dog-friendly. Overall the service was excellent. About the food: value for money is absolutely right. Pizza diavolo, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, cordon bleu with fries, cannelloni al forno. Everything delivered to the table very quickly. Tiny note, the salad sauce on the side salad was very mustardy.

Where should you start? Waited 10 minutes because the reserved table wasn't free. Waited an hour and a half for food, the service was overwhelmed, the bread was brought almost at the same time as the food but only when asked. Drinks that were ordered were only partially brought when someone came. Ordered dessert, only three of four came. There's nothing bad to say about the quality of the food, but there was also a side salt missing and the service didn't notice it. The main thing is that the invoice was correct. My conclusion, thanks for nothing. You'll get better service at any rostwurst stand than there.

Service was nice, but prices were higher with reduced quality. The food from the grandchildren leaves a lot to be desired in terms of quantity and quality. Our food wasn't much better. It's a shame, the atmosphere is really great. One can only hope that the next tenant will find what the ambience offers is reflected in the quality.

There were eight of us guests and we had a great reception. The food was the same for everyone and every dish was absolutely top!! As always, service was super friendly and very attentive. Wanted to eat here for lunch today. Everything outside was free, there were also a few tables available in the side room. Unfortunately there is no space available... Was it up to us?? Completely satisfied. Had sensational bruschetta as a starter, meat dishes (chicken breast fillet) were super tasty and high quality meat. All of our special requests were also taken into account. Service top, very friendly and accommodating.

Very nice restaurant, beautifully and quietly located in the forest. We had a really tasty onion soup and a great pizza bread as a starter, followed by pizza and pasta with smoked salmon. Everything was perfectly prepared and delicious. The prices are high. With the super attentive and nice service, as well as great food, it is absolutely justified. We deducted points because the seat upholstery on the bench was considered disgusting. Then it's better to take out the bench and put some chairs down or do a good cleaning. Furthermore, neither the homepage nor the Google page are up to date when it comes to opening times and menu. It's a shame, because one or two guests will definitely not find their way there. We will come back in any case.

Best food. Whether it was meat or pasta dishes, everything was perfect. Pizzas are also super tasty. Totally relaxed and great for dinner even with children.

Nice ambience. The side salad was neither visually nor taste-appealing. The sea bream was way too fatty with no herbs/finesse/love for the product - definitely not as expected; the fish was like it came out of the deep fryer. My wife's pasta dish was average. Price level too high for the quality. We won't be coming back.

Restaurant Lachwald. The food came after an hour of waiting...but it was very good. The service was totally overwhelmed...but very nice. Unfortunately he always “forgot” about us in the next room! Very expensive, e.g. lamb chop €39......! We had steak and piccata Milanese for €28.90 each.

Wonderful location in a forest, very nice and cozy atmosphere in a log cabin. Service tip top and very friendly. The menu is diverse and completely reasonable in terms of price. The food is Italian, very finely tuned, beautifully decorated and very, very tasty!

The food was really tasty, the lunch menu is a bit thin, but everyone can still find something. The atmosphere is very appealing, the employees could be a little more attentive and focused.

Wir waren an einem Samstag Abend mit 6 Personen + Baby vor Ort. Hatten einen Tisch für 18 Uhr bestellt. Der Laden platzte aus allen Nähten. Jeder Tisch musste sehr lange warten. Die Küche war komplett überfordert, hatten eine Vorspeise bestellt und geschlage denn um 20:45 Uhr unser Hauptgericht bekommen. Die Qualität der Speisen konnte den Abend leider auch nicht mehr retten. Von 4 Steaks am Tisch waren 3 total zäh und komplett durchzogen bei einem Preis von 33 Euro für ein Steak ist das schon sehr ärgerlich. Preis / Leistung ist hier meiner Meinung nach unterirdisch. Uns wurde das Restaurant empfohlen, wir werden dort aber nicht mehr hingehen.

Erhöhte Preise wegen Weihnachtskarte (kaum ein Gericht unter 30€) und leider nicht alles vorhanden von der verkleinerten Karte. - Service zwei mal falsche Getränke gebracht, nicht sehr freundlich, aber ok. - Essen sehr lecker, aber zu wenig für den Preis. 8 Ravioli für einen Erwachsenen für 20 Euro leider zu wenig und zu teuer - tolles Restaurant von innen - man fühlt sich wohl

Waren mit 9 Personen essen. Super Service, super Essen, super Location. Haben direkt wieder reserviert. Bei der großen Auswahl freut man sich immer wieder was neues auszuprobieren. Weiter so💪😋😋😋

Essen, wie immer sehr lecker. Beim Service gibt es zwei Varianten : sehr nett, sehr kompetent und schnell ist die eine .....total verpeilt, langsam aber dennoch nett ist die andere ( aber .. ...ein junger Kerl dem man das einfach Mal nachsieht und halt nachfragen muss wenn es zu lange dauert). Was mich dieses Mal gestört hat war der Hund eines anderen Gastpaares. Er war zwar leise, wurde aber am Tisch gefüttert. Saß auf dem Schoß des Paares und hat sich hin und wieder ausgiebig geschüttelt dass der Sabber flog. Zwar war es nur ein Handtaschenhund aber..... Generell kann ich das Lokal nur empfehlen. Man wird freundlich empfangen und das Essen ist sehr gut. Nur .. .ruft vorher an ....dass das Essen schmeckt haben auch andere schon bemerkt.

Einfach super...waren eine Gesellschaft von 14 Personen alle zeitgleich sehr gutes warmes Essen bekommen, haben alle unterschiedliche Gerichte aus der großen Speisekarte bestellt. Wir haben heute mein Geburtstag gefeiert mit 20 Personen ausser gute Stimmung mit Sekt empfang, dann war sehr lecker essen.haben zu Wahl Zander Filet,Schnitzel und Steak Gerichte waren gleichzeitig serviert sie waren heiß und große Portionen,dann auch antipasti platte und sehr schmackhafte deser, sehr gute Wein zu Wahl, wir alle waren satt und sehr zufrieden. Wir werden weiter empfehlen und kommen wieder

Ich hatte dort mit meiner Frau und unserem Enkel zu Abend gegessen. Bestellt hatten wir für unseren Enkel Nudeln mit Tomatensoße! War ok kann man auch nicht viel falsch machen. Für meine Frau und mich gab es Saltimbocca alla Romana mit Gemüse und Salat. Der Salat war mit einer sehr dicken und viel zu viel davon ertrunken ungenießbar!!! Das Saltimbocca war so durch gebraten dass man es kaum herunter bekam. Und von dem durchgekochten Gemüse ganz zu schweigen, hier hätte man keine Zähne gebraucht.

Alles perfekt Service sehr nett und konnte sehr gut beraten, es wurde auch auf Kleinigkeiten geachtet Lob an die junge Dame Auch am Nebentisch war der Service stets nett und freundlich Ambiente sehr sehr schön Essen für den Preis absolut mehr als gut Gerne wieder

Wir verbrachten am vergangenen Freitag zwei gemütliche Stunden während unserer Mittagspause im Jägerheim. Die Servicekräfte waren sehr aufmerksam, Sonderwunsch Rotweinsauce beim Steak kein Problem, das Fleisch war super zart und hatte super Restaromen. Die Küche versteht ihr Handwerk. Dieses Lokal können wir sehr weiterempfehlen und freuen uns bereits auf unseren nächsten Besuch. Familie Bellmann

Eine der schönsten Terrassen im Saarland... dafür fehlt ehrlich gesagt einiges.... Essen ok, durchschnittlich, für den Preis könnte man mehr erwarten ! Service auf der Terasse, freundlich, bemüht, keine Wartezeit !

Mir hat das Essen nicht geschmeckt. Schnitzel war ein Fertigprodukt und das salatdressing ebenfalls. Dafür war der Preis nicht angemessen sondern zu hoch

Insgesamt eine gute Erfahrung. Die Canelloni sind etwas in der leckeren Soße ertrunken und mein Wein hat ca. 20 min gebraucht, bis er den Weg zu mir gefunden hat. Ansonsten sehr leckeres Essen und angenehmes Ambiente.

Wer es Rustikal und ruhig mag ist hier richtig. Essen schmeckt super und das Personal sehr freundlich. Ein Plus ist zusätzlich der riesige Parkplatz am Restaurant.

Einige Speisen recht lecker, andere leider „im Öl versunken“. Eher hochpreisig. Service recht schnell und aufmerksam, eher belehrend, wenig persönlich, kühl. Tische unvollständig eingedeckt, Platzsets, die man bei dieser Preisklasse dringend austauschen müsste.

Preislich schon etwas gehoben. Es hat geschmeckt und wir sind satt geworden.

Ja, es ist etwas teurer als in einem 0815 Restaurant oder in einer einfachen Pizzaria. Was aber Geschmack, Aussehen und Anrichten betrifft, war das Essen hier jeden Cent wert und wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Die weibl. Bedienung war sehr nett und auf Sonderwünschen bei der Essensbestellung wegen Unverträglichkeiten wurde eingegangen und auch eingehalten.

Der Service… das Essen….der Nachtisch…bleibt unvergessen:)
