Hamm's Restaurant is an asset. Lamb medallions with goat cheese gratinated on crisp salads...Perfect! It couldn't be better! We look forward to our next visit

We were in Hamms for the first time today. We were served incredibly friendly and courteously and the food was very tasty and good value. My husband had the flambéed steak and, as a vegetarian, I also got my money's worth. Especially when it came to dessert, there were a few regional highlights (Henry's ice cream, coffee from Café Plaisir, etc.), which we were very happy about. We'll be back :)

A nice restaurant with very good cuisine. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The prices are slightly higher depending on the quality. Personally, I think it is a balanced price/performance level.

A great atmosphere awaits you here with delicious dishes. You will also receive a very warm welcome. The food is really tasty and plentiful and, above all, very varied. There is something for everyone. Very friendly staff who respond to guests' wishes. I can really recommend it. We are always happy to come to you. It is very important that if you go here you have to reserve in advance. It may well be that you won't get a seat without a reservation.

The last time we visited, everything was great, but since the menu had changed this time, we didn't find what we wanted. Starter great, main course salad some indefinable things on the plate, pumpkin hard (not edible), mushrooms cold. Unfortunately, dessert wasn't something that appealed to us compared to the previous visit. Prices are sometimes excessive compared to what you find on the plate. Communication from the boss to the trainees/interns/temp workers(?) is underground.

We came with several people based on a recommendation and were unfortunately very disappointed throughout. I had one of the most expensive dishes (lamb with goat cheese) and have rarely experienced such poor value for money. To put it politely, the amount of meat was manageable, as was the goat cheese. The lamb had a very strong sheepfold taste that I only know from adult animals. There was no side salad but grilled vegetables that fit on two forks and only consisted of two types. The only thing that was really plentiful were halved baby potatoes, but there wasn't enough sauce for them, so they were left lying around because they were barely seasoned. In addition, there was an overwhelmed service (we sat with empty glasses for almost 20 minutes, which was also the reason that we left much earlier than planned) and an ambience that is supposed to appear noble, but unfortunately it doesn't fit with cobwebs and residents in the corner directly behind Table and dishes from previous guests under the table. I'm not a heavy eater and it's extremely rare for me to not be full after a main course, which was the case here. You can eat much better elsewhere for much less money.

So tasty and fresh... very nice team, very nice cozy atmosphere. Food and drinks top... highly recommended..

The plates weren't hot, just warm.

We were very satisfied with both the service and the taste of the food. However, it was very disturbing that everyone was smoking at the tables next to us. There should also be a smoke-free zone on the terrace!!!!

This is a top restaurant and you can tell the passion that goes into working there.

We were in the restaurant yesterday, invited by our children. Unfortunately we arrived 20 minutes late due to a detour, so the two of them were still stranded, so to put it bluntly, the service was nothing! It took another 15 minutes until we were finally allowed to order drinks, although we were informed that our colleague actually did that! The starters arrived quickly, the quantity was the same, the couscous was much too spicy. My Wiener Schnitzel was well fried, unfortunately I was missing salt everywhere. The salad was forgotten and added later. Since it was served in a narrow glass, it was difficult to eat as the lettuce leaves were way too big and the dressing was at the bottom of the glass. When asked about the lack of service when paying, there was a snippy answer. Therefore only 2 points from me

We had reserved a table for two people, which was confirmed very quickly. There are also enough parking spaces available, the restaurant makes a very good impression from the outside, and the inside is newly renovated and excellently designed. The whole team is very nice, accommodating and friendly. Orders are delivered very quickly. From the starter to the dessert, I have to say it tastes excellent and is very decoratively presented. All in all, everything here is spot on. 150% recommended. It's clear to us that we'll be eating here often.

I was able to celebrate my birthday 🎂 with around 40 guests in Hamms. Thank you for everything. The kitchen team conjured up a top buffet for us and we received great service from the service team. Attentive and friendly. This is how you can start the new year of life. Thank you for everything.

Upscale middle class cuisine in a relaxed, casual environment. As the pictures from previous reviewers already show, you get good and plentiful food here. Meat and fish lovers will absolutely get their money's worth here. The meat is very tender and tastes unbeatable, as well as cooked to perfection. I recommend taking the noodles as a side dish, they are homemade and also cooked to perfection. In my opinion, only the gravies could have a little more "boom" - specifically, they are cooked longer, more wine, more roasted aromas. But that's a complaint on a pretty high level because these are homemade and not a finished product from a bag. Soups and starters are also excellent, even the simple potato soup with smoked salmon is a taste experience. Even the yogurt dressing on the salad was to my taste, although I prefer the vinegar and oil version or at least want to be asked about it. Here I was, for once, glad that I wasn't asked, because as I said... dressing was great. 👍🏻 Great wine list and almost every wine is also available as an “open wine” and if you run out of wine, they will be happy to suggest a similar one, even if it would actually be more expensive and you have to open a bottle specifically for a glass. That's what I call good service! By the way, there is also a specially made beer and I am already looking forward to my next visit to try this too.

As expected, a successful evening with delicious food and drinks. And despite working in the catering industry for 31 years, I was able to get to know something that I had never seen before. A beef fillet flambéed at the table or on the plate - simply cool. And of course a hit on site. There wasn't a table where at least one guest didn't have his food "fired" during service. Class 👏🏻 The service is managed confidently and yet there is always a little time for small talk. We recommend. Any time. Definitely in summer - then there is also the opportunity to sit on a large terrace.

Maria in service and Ralf in the kitchen, including their entire team, do a really great job here. The house was rebuilt with so much attention to detail and looks very inviting when you walk in 😊! The service here is, as usual, very friendly, fast and attentive so that you feel comfortable and welcome at all times. In our opinion, the dishes from Ralf and his team have been made a little more refined and are extremely well prepared and very tasty (great as always! Thank you for that). We have known the family and the team for many years and can also give our unreserved recommendation for the Hamms, keep it up dear Maria, dear Ralf, we would love to come back and are always happy to be your guests 😊

Had a wonderful evening with my friends! Despite the restaurant being full, very friendly and prompt service. The food came steaming fresh from the kitchen very quickly after ordering. It tasted great, for me personally the menu is a bit "fish-heavy", but that's not a criticism, the Hamm's team can't help it that I don't eat fish. Nevertheless, I found what I was looking for and it tasted great. The selection of wines, we are wine drinkers, is very exquisite, the coffee after the meal, we had espresso and cappuccino, also very good! All in all it was a nice evening and I will definitely come back and recommend Hamm's Restaurant.

We were in the new location in Saarwellingen for the first time. We had reserved a large table with a total of 20 people. Anyone could order à la carte and all dishes were served together. Kudos to the kitchen for time management. Whether starter, main course or dessert - there was only positive feedback for taste and quality.

On Saturday evening we went to dinner with four people for the first time since the reopening. And unfortunately for the last time. The food looked good, as you can see in the pictures. But appearances carry. Please have your own experience there. We cannot recommend this restaurant. Unfortunately, we were hoping for an alternative to the previous owner. Kind regards, Werner.

We were spontaneously able to get a table for two. There are sufficient parking spaces available in front of the restaurant. When we entered the restaurant we could see that it had been lovingly renovated. Friendly welcome. Table was great. Our lady from service was on point and very friendly. Every now and then a cheeky saying in store. We really liked that. We each chose a starter/main course and dessert. First there was the child raft and the beef carpaccio. Really recommended. Afterwards we had rump steak fried to perfection. Quality of meat very good 👍. Finally, the Creme Brület and the Valley of Love. We had a lovely evening in Hamms and were certainly not there for the last time. Price/performance was right. Only at the Valley of Love did the portion deserve a little more on the plate for the price. Compared to the price of the Creme Brület, the portion was too small for my taste.

The food was very good, recommended. And the waitresses were very friendly and nice, 10 stars for the waitresses

Hamm's grill plate is highly recommended. Great red wine with it and ice cream for dessert. Very good and cozy atmosphere as well as great hosts and service.

We were a bit disappointed - it was loud and hectic - the reserved table was a "bar table" with uncomfortable chairs parallel to the counter - service and counter were still inexperienced - both fish dishes were so-so - I found the advertised "giant shrimp" at the fish dinner quite by chance and was the size of a toddler's thumb... the Apperoll Spritz was too thin with too much ice - the double espresso was undrinkable - this evening for a mere €80 made us more annoyed than happy... maybe it was because it had only been open for 4 days - we'll try it one more time...

We celebrated our birthday with 50 guests in the new Hamms Restaurant in Saarwellingen... and we are super satisfied. Planning it together with Ms. Baptista was really fun. It was a wonderful evening with great service from Marie & Co. and a super good meal from the boss and cook Ralf Steuer. The selected buffet left nothing to be desired, all dishes, from the starters to the dessert, were very well presented and prepared to perfection. There were only positive comments from all guests. The food was also very plentiful, so we had to take some with us. We can only highly recommend Hamms, also because price and performance are well balanced and with Ms. Baptista you can deal with any problem/open question that may arise in an uncomplicated and customer-oriented manner can be solved quickly. The whole thing took place in a very nice atmosphere. So...off to Hamms!!!

There were three of us there today and we were extremely impressed. Great ambience, friendly service as usual and the food was delicious, regional and fresh. Price-performance ratio is absolutely right here. An absolute win for Wellingen!
