There were 6 of us eating and everyone enjoyed the food. You can sit outside very comfortably and the service was really nice too.

Delicious food, made from fresh ingredients, portion size that should actually feed everyone, friendly, attentive but not intrusive service and absolutely reasonable prices. We were here for the first time this year, but certainly not the last. The deduction for the ambience is due to the uncomfortable wooden benches, some of which are tilted towards the front, and the warped boards of the tables, so that glasses and plates are wobbly.

Today we spontaneously stopped at the restaurant “Zum Grünen Jäger” with our two small children on our bikes. It was just opening time - 5 p.m. We were thirsty from the tour and wanted to have a drink outside. We got the drinks. At first we were the only guests. The landlady asked twice if we wanted to eat something too. We declined because it was so early. We didn't think anything of it, because it is, after all, a beer garden that many cyclists pass by. So far so good. Everything was good, the atmosphere was nice. We covered our drinks with napkins from the cutlery jug as there were a few wasps buzzing around our heads. Suddenly the landlady came, took the cutlery jug for other guests and said quite unkindly that we shouldn't use so many napkins because the tax office (!?) would count all the napkins... and disappeared. My husband then asked her shortly afterwards whether she was serious. She said yes and when I said that we had protected ourselves from wasps and why there were no beer mats, she just said that she always had to get the beer mats from under the tables in the evenings. I paid and said I was annoyed by that strange napkin saying. She literally said, "It doesn't matter. We only have dinner guests anyway." Ah yes...that's why the wind blew. Conclusion: Drink guests are not welcome! Apparently they don't need it. The beer garden was almost empty. Two other tables were occupied. So we didn't take away any of the dining guests' seats. Appropriately enough, as I was leaving, my little son said, “Goodbye!” Probably true...

Excellent food. Order there very often. Also perfect to take with you.

Had schnitzel, potatoes, croquettes, ham and asparagus and for dessert vanilla ice cream with strawberries and cream. It was all very tasty. From the inn you can go for a lovely walk with your dog, in the forest and along a small path along the Oker.

Very good cuisine. I would also give it 6 stars. Asparagus with schnitzel today, couldn't be better 👍🏼

It does what it promises. No frills, just good food.

We have often eaten at Grüner Jäger, always very good, and we were given large portions of everything! Celebrated our birthdays, Christmas parties with family and friends, everyone was always very enthusiastic, the owners were very nice, super friendly, did their best!!! Tastes like mother's, everything homemade!!! My husband has enjoyed going there with his regulars for decades! We have already shared our enthusiasm with many friends. We have never been disappointed! Kind regards Sonny and Eddy.

Ein sehr altes Lokal, von der Einrichtung her. Essen war ganz gut. Die Bedienung war schlecht zu verstehen. Als ich eine Cola Light bestellte, bekam ich eine Cola. Auf Nachfrage ob es eine Light wäre, wurde mir mit "puh das weiß ich nicht mehr" geantwortet.

Das Essen war ganz ok .Leider gab es zum Schnitzel keine Zitrone wurde vergessen einzukaufen sagte man uns.Leider gab es auch keine Milch für den Kaffee wurde auch vergessen einzukaufen.Darum nur 3 Sterne

Man... Was für ein super Essen, frisch gemacht und reichlich

Lokation: Sehr schön gepflegt und man kann im Sommer sehr schön sitzen. Essen: Preis/Leistung sind sehr gut. Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut und die Portionen sind gut abgestimmt. Man wird auf jeden Fall satt. Bedienung: die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich.

Waren Spargelessen , es war sehr lecker und Reichlich.Werden uns wieder ein Tisch reservieren.
