Update 2025 (June 26, 2015) We sat outside. The tables were dirty. The manager himself quickly took our order and offered ouzo. A moment later, an employee came over and asked for our drink preferences, more like throwing the menu on the table than laying it down. The table wasn't cleaned until the last minute, and no ouzo arrived, even though we were asked again if we'd gotten one. Clearly, poor communication. The food arrived late, and guests who had arrived after us already had their food. The manager walked around with old rags and a stressed expression, but didn't clean our table. With food stains and bird droppings on the table, I felt like I needed to wash my hands. The food was okay, but the coleslaw was too sour. The Katharina plate was good value for money, but otherwise, far too expensive for a dirty snack bar! The staff and "manager service" were truly lacking. You can do without Quzo then... The previous times we also repeatedly encountered "unfriendliness"! Everyone there was very moody. We didn't feel like guests. It's a shame, but it's so easy to change that... But if you don't want to tip, keep it up. 11/13/21 For years, we've always enjoyed coming here or ordering takeout because of the very good food. After the really steep price increase of sometimes +€2.00 to €3.00, we had considerably less on our plates yesterday, despite the steep increase. The Corfu plate, which was almost €20.00, included a small piece of lamb – which was very tasty – and a really small portion of giros! But there were plenty of fries, which filled the plate. We also ordered calamari with fries and salad. Here, more than half of the plate was filled with fries, and only a really small portion of small calamari "rings" was served. We often and happily ate the calamari here, as they didn't serve the familiar "rubber rings." This time, however, we had the impression that we were getting the tiniest bits of leftovers from a bag. That's unacceptable for €15.00 in a snack bar with seating! For the first time, we actually didn't get full, something we never imagined would happen here. When the staff asked us, as usual, if everything was okay, we very politely expressed our above-mentioned observations. The lady then asked us to "tell the manager up front," as she was only the waitress. Unfortunately, when we paid up front, our criticism or disappointment was simply dismissed in a somewhat bitchy and arrogant manner: "No one has complained today, and everyone gets full here with these portions... Could it be possible that we came hungry?" (Huh? When I go out to eat, I'm usually hungry.) This was a completely unprofessional response from the manager himself to friendly criticism from two long-time customers. What a shame! We'd rather go to the Groshansdorf area now, rather than pay more for less here again. That's completely unacceptable.

The worst gyros I've ever had! The fries were okay, and the chewy salad was just a coleslaw.

If you want good food, this is the place for you. Friendly staff. Ambience: somewhere between a good snack bar and a simple restaurant.

The food here is always delicious. The portions are generous. Unfortunately, they overcharged me for the Coke. They charged me for two large ones, but one of them was a small one.

Best Greek restaurant in town... and overall! Excellent quality, large portions, reasonable prices. The ambiance is rustic but cozy. The service is good.

My second time there, and that was definitely my last. Ordered two complete gyros plus one extra tzatziki to take out from a rather unfriendly gentleman. The gyro meat could only pass for well-done, with no roasted flavor. It was also completely overseasoned. The accompanying tzatziki was extremely sour, as if it had already been stung. The extra one I ordered was okay. And the coleslaw, consisting of only white cabbage and three rings of onion, was drenched in oil, even though most of the oil had already leaked out into the bag during transport. No amount of tweaking with vinegar and spices at home helped. The only positive thing was the fries. They were well-made with decent seasoning. But that's not rocket science.

My wife ordered two portions of gyros with fries. She wanted the fries individually wrapped, but that didn't seem possible. As a result, the fries turned out to be very soggy. Unfortunately, the fries were also completely lacking in salt and seasoning. The seasoning continues with the gyros. The meat had no flavor at all. The tzatziki was probably the best part of the whole meal, but unfortunately we didn't like it either. The coleslaw was also disastrous; it was just swimming in oil. There wasn't a drop of vinegar in it. Salt and pepper didn't help either. It's a real shame; we used to order food from there often, but the quality from the supermarket is much better and cheaper these days. The portion size was great, but what's the point if it doesn't taste good.

I always enjoy coming back to this Greek restaurant. The food always tastes delicious and is freshly prepared. The portions are very generous; even those with a big appetite will definitely get their money's worth here. The staff is always friendly and attentive. I can only recommend eating here once.

We were always regular customers. Unfortunately, we have had two not so nice experiences with the Greek in the last few weeks. One time the fries were almost raw. I called there and he said I should get new portions. No sooner said than done. I received the new food with a note saying that the fries should be done! What?! Then yesterday, on the occasion of a celebration, we ordered 7 complete gyros. I asked on the phone beforehand whether you could pay by card. That was answered in the affirmative. We want to pick up the food that was ready, but we are told only cash payment! Then we had to go to the bank. The food that wasn't kept warm was only lukewarm to cold. Conclusion. The one man who appears to be the boss there is so unfriendly and annoyed! You don't even want to talk to him. It doesn't work at all. Then you ask about the card payment a day in advance and that doesn't work either. There are many guests who have experienced similar things. Something urgently needs to change. It's a shame, but we won't be getting any more food there for the time being.

Wheelchair friendly at all times

We have been coming regularly for over 10 years to maintain our gyros levels or to relieve the kitchen fairy. In our opinion, the price level has unfortunately left the character of a snack bar and the quality is also negatively affected. It used to be a real insider tip🤷🏽‍♂️

Table should be reserved, always fresh food, large portions, inexpensive. Room is wheelchair accessible but could be tight. Outdoor area suitable for wheelchair users.

We order here regularly for pickup! The portions are nice and big and will easily fill one person up! The meat is well seasoned and crispy. The tzatziki is very tasty and garlicky! :)

This is a snack bar so there is a deduction for the ambience. The dishes on offer are consistently delicious and very plentiful.

Classic snack grill with decent portions. It's best to pre-order by phone, as it's usually well attended and there are corresponding waiting times.

Real top shop. Great portions at a fair price. The place is rustic and has a snack bar feel, which isn't a bad thing at all. It just fits there really well. Food was great, really tasty and the service was good. We'll definitely be back!

We ended up here by chance and were there with five people. We didn't expect how much food was served. The food was very tasty and a huge portion. The service was great and we would love to come back. But then we'll probably share a portion of gyros.

I recently went to the restaurant for a Greek meal and unfortunately I have to say that I was very disappointed. The restaurant tempts with attractive offers, but the hidden additional costs completely ruined the evening. It was incredibly frustrating to suddenly find various extra charges on the bill that had not been mentioned before. This completely distorted the price-performance ratio. In addition, the service was absolutely inadequate. The staff was unfriendly and seemed uninterested. We had to wait a long time for our food, and when it finally came, it wasn't particularly good. Complaints were not taken seriously and overall we didn't feel welcome.

The unfriendly Greek would be more appropriate based on my experience from May 20, 2024. Unfortunately, the quality has declined significantly in recent years, which is a shame. Obviously the management has changed and there is no other explanation. The unfriendly people behind the Teke can only be described as damaging to business. A real disgrace for a guest who leaves his money there.

My reviews do not refer to the food, which was of good quality. When ordering at 5:30 p.m. on May 20, 2024, we were served by an unfriendly and hard-of-hearing man. Obviously in a bad mood, our order was deliberately ignored and misunderstood. The order was gyros with farmer's salad without fries without rice. The bill then came to €54.00 which seemed a bit high to me. We then ordered a portion of meat for €10.00 less and paid €44.00. The result of the intentional misinterpretation of our order can be seen in the pictures. We will definitely not buy or take away anything to eat here again.

Very good gyros! Big portion. It's better to take away because it's not convenient to eat on site. It's best to call ahead. Point deduction for the rancid disgusting fries that are available after 9 p.m.! We threw them away straight away. Impudence!! In general, after 9 p.m. you can hardly get anything. So it's better to pick it up by 8 p.m. Ouzo is usually included for free 😀

Wir holen 2 mal im Jahr Gyros und es ist mal mehr und mal weniger in der Box(hole erst im April wieder was,weil wir dann zum Campingplatz fahren😊. Hat sich was an der Verpackung geändert?) Was ich seit Jahren einfach nicht mag,die beide Chefs sind mir viel zu unfreundlich und es ist schon seit Jahren so ! Holen nur Fleisch und der Rest wird zu Hause frisch zubereitet,weil's besser schmeckt und günstiger ist. Finde z.B.krautsalat mega teuer und fad.. Wer schreibt eigentlich von guter Fleisch Qualität 😅,es kommt mit Sicherheit nicht von glücklichen Tieren ..

Ein top Adresse für griechisches Essen im Kreis Stormarn! Ich kenne dieses Restaurant seit Jahren und wurde nie enttäuscht! Das Gyros ist qualitativ hervorragend und die Portionsgröße genau so, wie man sie sich beim Griechen wünscht! Preislich ist das Restaurant auch verhältnismäßig gut. Qualität hat ihren Preis! Tipp: Vor dem Besuch am besten einen Tisch reservieren. Leider ist eine Zahlung nur mit Bargeld möglich. Auch das Ambiente hat schon bessere Tage gesehen. Hier würde dem Restaurant eine Renovierung gut stehen! Ansonsten eine absolute Empfehlung!

Auf Empfelung eines guten Freundes aufgesucht, und bin durch dir Bank zufrieden. Riesige Portionen, großer Salat mit dabei jedenfalls wenn man den klassischen Gyros Komplett nimmt. Würde jedesmal wiederkommen!

Essen ist sehr lecker, große Portionen, das macht schon Spaß. Allerdings sind die Preise nicht mehr ganz nachvollziehbar. Alles wird teurer, kann ich akzeptieren, aber die Preise hier sind etwas zu hoch.

Gyros Qualität hat stark nach gelassen. Lauter kleine Fitzel Gyros Stücke bekommen. Wurde nicht frisch abgeschnitten und lag wohl schon länger in der Schale. EIN NO GO.!! Preisleistung und Qualität passt nicht mehr. irgendwie ist da seit einiger Zeit immer eine angespannte Stimmung. Vielleicht sind doch viele Kunden abgewandert. Und gehen lieber zu einem netten griechischen Restaurant um die Ecke.

Ich hole seit Jahren Gyros bei dem Griechen. Es schmeckt super!

Eine versteckte Perle dieses Restaurant, sehr zu empfehlen. Leckeres Essen für wenig Geld (die Portionen sind riesig). Der Service im Restaurant, sowie zum abholen exzellent und egal wie voll es ist gibt es immer eine Ouzo aufs Haus. Das Ambiente ist okay nichts besonderes. Von draußen etwas kark aber drinnen schön und gemütlich. Alles im Allem sehr zu empfehlen!

Top Preis Leistung viel gutes Essen für günstige Preise

War mal super aber mittlerweile ist man auf dem absteigenden Ast. Die Portionen werden immer kleiner, dafür allerdings auch immer teurer. Die Qualität lässt auch immer weiter nach. Die letzten Male waren entweder die Pommes versalzen, das Fleisch war trocken und wenig bis gar nicht gewürzt. Der Krautsalat - auch trocken. So langsam sehe ich mich nach Alternativen um, etwas was ich mir vor einem Jahr noch nicht vorstellen konnte.

Wir wollten den Griechen spontan ausprobieren und etwas zum Abholen bestellen, dann bekamen wir die Aussage nur Barzahlung. Für mich ist nur Barzahlung ein No Go!! Wir haben dort dann nichts abgeholt.

Es gibt großzügige Portionen in rasantem Tempo zubereitet. Das Gyros Fleisch scheint hochwertig und ist knusprig und gut gewürzt.

Standard-Grieche, mit riesigen Gyros-Portionen (Gyros, Tsaziki, Pommes frites oder Reis und Krautsalat). Uns reicht locker 1 Portion für zwei - drei Personen (zu dritt mit einer zusätzlichen Portion Pommes frites). Viele Gäste bestellen sich die Speisen zum Mitnehmen.

Nicht mal nach 30 Minuten haben sie es geschafft, meine telefonische Vorbestellung fertig zu stellen. Bei Abholung unfreundlich behandelt worden. Der Chef wurde richtig ausfallen mir gegenüber. Nie wieder!

Der Laden ist soo lecker, ich liebe das Gyros und die Größe der Portionen. So muss es sein, Bedienung immer top und schnell. Wir waren gestern nach einer Ewigkeit wieder hier essen, das Essen und die Bedienung waren absolut top. Wir werden definitiv wieder öfter vorbei kommen!

Vor Corona hat das Gyros so um zwischen 9€ u. 11€ und jetzt 17€ Die Preise sind gigantisch gestiegen fast doppelt so viel Ich habe mir gerne mal von dort geholt oder da gegessen jetzt nicht mehr ich kann es ürgendwie verstehen aber daß finde ich frech Inhaber wenn du das lesen tust solltest du darüber mal nachdenken ob das nicht einbißcen zu viel ist aber war scheinlich kommen noch genügend Schade schade schade
